It's a very small restaurant so if you go during peak hours, I assume you'll need to wait if you have a big party but they have a nice area outside. I cannot believe I finally tried this place for the first time! Pizza crust is excellent. It's got the crisp with the yeast-y and perfectly chewy crust. I didn't love the toppings but the tomato sauce was so flavorful! That was my favorite part after the crust. You order them sit and they bring your food to the table. Not my fave style of restaurant but it works for pizza. We also tried the kale salad that was refreshing and light. I visited on a Sunday night with my cousin and her friend who were in Denver for the weekend. Parking was relatively easy, and for how popular this place is, we surprisingly found a table right away! Although the seating is interesting (a handful of tables/booths inside with the option of a patio out back), the ambiance, service, and food is top-notch. The guys behind the counter were incredibly calm, gave helpful suggestions, and remembered my name/order (so friendly!) I ordered the bread & butter for the table (the black olive butter was DELICIOUS!) and we all shared the Daisy and Clam pizzas. One pizza feeds 1-2 people...we were hungry. Cart-Driver has always been a favorite and I recently had the chance to try their late night happy hour and was not disappointed! Despite their small interior, we found space at the back of the restaurant to enjoy our pizzas and cocktails. The food was ready quickly and everyone was so friendly! I love their Daisy pizza. Delicious pizza! I came here late on a friday night because there wasn't many other places that were open that also had many vegetarian options. Super thankful that over half of their pizzas are vegetarian. I got the mushrooms and the market. The market was absolutely delicious! I think the gorgonzola flavor is not for everyone on the mushrooms pizza so definitely know what you're getting yourself into. The food does take a while to come out but its completely worth it! Their pizza base is nice and thin and the crust is crispy and chewy. Absolutely delicious!! Seating is definitely limited here though, especially during busier hours. read more

My son recommended this place and it was the perfect location for meeting my friend as it is in the middle for both of us. We got there just before Happy Hour ended and ordered Messed Up Negronis. They were fabulous and beautiful. For appetizers we shared olives and the Bread and Butter which is focaccia, black olive butter - so tasty, I could just eat bread and have a drink. We were unable to choose between two of the pizzas so we got them both! The Mushrooms and the White pizzas. Both were cooked to perfection with a chewy and thin crust. The lemon on both pizzas was WOW! The flavors were well balanced on both pizzas and we couldn't decide which was our favorite. (I will try to decide again tomorrow when I eat the leftovers!). They are a busy restaurant with staff who seem to enjoy being there and work as a team. I will go back with my husband and try some of the meat pizzas! read more

We always enjoy our experiences here. Great atmosphere, efficient service, great value for happy hour. We sat at the back bar for this latest HH visit. Claire and Skyler were our bartenders. The mousse is amazing ($9 HH instead of $16 regular price), and the bread it comes with is SO good. Not sure how they make their bread differently, but it definitely works. I LOVE the daisy pizza for HH ($10 instead of $18), and sorry I forgot to take a pic of that. Just get it, ask for a side of chili oil, and trust that it is solid. I really wish they had an IPA on special, but you can get a 16 ounce Cold Snack for $4. They had a mistake IPA pour, so somehow I got lucky and manifested one. The Messed Up Negroni is our go-to cocktail, but make sure you ask what the dealer's choice is (they had a tequila on during our visit that was stellar). This is my new favorite restaurant in Denver. Simply put, it's a wham bam thank you ma'am. Vibe inside is immaculate and I literally didn't want to stop eating. Oysters are fantastic and fresh. WOW!!!!! I decided to walk around the Rino area in Denver and saw a pizza spot. I have been wanting a pizza for a few days now, so I decided to stop in and give it a shot. It looked like a little counter pizza spot. Nothing special. I was wrong. There is a small patio out in the front and a much larger one in the back. As you pass the entry patio you will be greeted by the staff behind a hip and nifty "it's the only word that matches the ambiance" bar. Wood burning oven that gives off a great smell of fresh baked bread and pizzas. Now as you scan through the menu you will a ton of different pizzas to choose from. You can even customize them to your liking. I went for the classic pepperoni pizza with mushrooms. I was about to head to work so I did not get the chance to try a cocktail or beer. I will go back before I fly out to do so. Now onto the good stuff. Pizza was perfection. Crust was cooked through giving a great crunch with a soft hot center. I normally don't eat the crust of pizzas; I consumed every bit of it though. Cheese was gooey and full of taste. Peperoni and mushrooms were crispy on the outside with a soft center just like the dough. Now we all have had that one pizza that has water build up on the bottom. This was not the case here. You are able to hold the slice without all the toppings falling all over the place. This is what I loved the most about it. Go for the pizza. I'm going to go back to try the Chicken Liver Mousse tomm. I will update on that one next. Odds and ends info. They have two happy hours. A 3-5PM and a late one at 10-12PM. They have water stations set up for the patio and dining area. Cool tabletops that are perfect for sharing the pizza. They sit up higher so the whole table can grab and go easily. Dog friendly patio. I did see bowls out there. I'm not sure if they have some on site or if the puppy owners brought their own. Parking, I didn't see much. I would scooter it or use Lyft. Overall killer and I am proud to give them a 5-star review. You won't be disappointed when you get your grub on. read more

Even though we are in a land locked state, their oysters are always fresh and shucked perfectly. Food was okay. I ordered the Cart Pizza that had Kale and Sausage but was disappointed because it took about 45 minutes to come out and when it did it my crust and kale were burnt. My friend ordered the daisy pizza which tasted fine since his wasn't burnt. Staff was friendly and honestly their water tasted amazing. It was cold and crisp. If it didn't so long for the pizza to come out and if they hadn't burned it I would have gave the place a 5. The whole set-up at Cart-Driver has this awesome Happy Hour vibe, with the open seating, open air layout. And they definitely know it considering Happy Hour happens twice daily from 3PM-5PM and 10PM-12AM. Chicken Liver Mousse: A very rich appetizer that should just be shared. I can't imagine only one person eating the whole thing since liver mousse is so heavy. But the real winner is the focaccia bread. It was so light and the bread was flavorful enough to eat by itself. Comes with about 8 slices. Seafood Conserva: The way our friend described this appetizer made us all want to try it but it really was just sardines in a can. Maybe a different fish, I don't really remember but really just fish in a tin can. Served with piata, which was kind of a cross between a pita bread and a tortilla. It wasn't bad but it didn't stand out and I wouldn't get it again. Clam Pizza: Comes with 6 slices. We wanted to try the Clam just because it's such a unique pizza flavor. This was my favorite out of the two pizzas we ordered. The clams weren't overwhelmingly fishy. Just eat it fresh because once it starts cooling down, the crust isn't as crunchy and the cheese starts to harden. White Pizza: Also comes with 6 slices. Pretty basic white pizza and we added pepperonis to it. I didn't love the olives because it made each bite a little bit sour. Other than that, it was pretty good. My gripe with their Happy Hour is that their online menu doesn't match up with what they offer. It was a little annoying finding out most of the things we wanted weren't actually on the Happy Hour menu. Also, not the best place to dine in when it's cold outside since there isn't really any seating indoors. Especially if you get pizza...it's not gonna be good once the cheese starts hardening. read more

Seems as you do that and then take your food to sit. Upon entering, it looked like a small place. After we placed our to-go order - I ventured to find the bathroom which was through the back door and around the corner as it was explained. As I took the back door exit - it went into a small room with a big table then I round the corner and your outside on the patio where there is more seating and heaters. Big place! This place is awesome !! At first sight it doesn't look like a restaurant. Once you place your order and head further inside it opens up to an outdoor space with good sitting area. I only wish they had more shade. I ordered their market pizza ( pesto+veggies) & mushrooms pizza. They were amazing !!! The base is so thin and the crust is super light with large air pockets. I usually love pesto flavors and not a big mushroom fan but here I enjoyed the mushroom pizza a little more than the market pizza. The flavor combination is really great for both. I also got their draft beer and it was perfect pairing for a hot afternoon and delicious pizzas. The staff are really nice.
