I was called to see if I needed service since my last appointment. A service time was scheduled. I received an email confirming the appointment the next day. The day before my scheduled service I received a text message reminder with the expected time of service. Edwin and Malik came to the door before starting the service to see if there were any specific problems or areas that needed attention. They wore masks. Maintained 6 feet distance and were polite and professional. As they were finishing the service they came to let me know what was completed, to verify that there were no additional concerns, and to remind me that I could call for a service follow up at any time. I was referred by my neighbors, bulwark is awesome they come out with no extra charge when you need them. I had Gervase Lee today and he is extremely friendly and helpful. He walked the perimeter of the house and garage to get the remaining spider webs and nest and dispose the mouse trap. We moved to a new home community so there is lot of home still under construction which give us lots of field mice and massive spiders. So far all the workers from bulwark has been nothing but friendly and helpful. They are always on time and let you know who's working in your home and text before arriving. We recently discovered ant issues (both sugar ants and fire ants) in our front and backyard, after Bulwark finished their regular service for that month. We called Bulwark a few time, each after new ant piles emerge after the last treatment, and they came out promptly to address it for free, a total of three times or so, as we needed it. Also reminded me of a few services I have available in between scheduled maintenance to assist in keeping problem areas at a minimum. He first treated my concern areas then when he came to leave I mentioned one other concern ad I forgot to tell him initially "my forgetful baby brain, since Im pregnant" but without any attitude or problems he was happy to go get more chemicals and treated my spider concern! We have been dealing with these people for months now and it seems like they don't do anything. We still have roaches months later and every time they come to my house they seem so lazy. The last guy was nice but all he did was take a little spray bottle add water and lazily spray in certain corners. I had to follow him and ask him to spray more thoroughly (behind the stove etc.). Before that we had a man come and hand me a few foldable traps that I could put out and leave. This is ridiculous but I feel like I don't know what other company to use. I thought they would be good because their rating is so high but so far I'm disappointed. read more

I was looking to get service ASAP and they booked me for that same day. The earliest availability other pest control companies was in two weeks. The tech, Cole,communicated with me his eta, he explained what he was going to do before, explained again what he did after and what he saw. He also emphasized about their guarantee if pests come back they will reservice the property at no extra charge, which puts my mind at ease. Anyways he was super nice and professional. Tech showed up 10min. after the two hour window. I let him do his job even though we had plans and we were leaving out the door. He said it wouldn't take long and it didn't, was there for about 10mins, didnt spray the entire house just the doors and a restroom. Will not be doing another treatment with Bulwark. read more

Service is hit and miss after the initial service. Seems like after they engage the customer the technicians fail to show up on time and some even lie and say they come to our house but weren't available for service. Two Saturdays ago the technician didn't show up on time and arrived at almost 9pm, this past Saturday the technician lied and said we weren't home so he couldn't service our home. My husband was out mowing the lawn this past Saturday morning and the technician sent an e-mail and called my work number saying no one was home for service, this was not true. I called the main line and both the people I spoke with were pretty unfazed by these mishaps, this which leads me to believe this below par level of service is normal. I also can't schedule another service because October schedule is "unavailable" right now. Service is terrible, I go with another company if they pull more BS at the next service. read more

Bulwark has great customer service and goes above and beyond to make things right. The technician that does my house is extremely thorough and bugs are non-existent inside outside the home. When we first moved in spiders were everywhere. Each quarter the technician makes sure new nests have not appeared and promptly fumigates the area if they are found. I bought a groupon for their pest service and scheduled an appointment for Monday. There was a mix up and they couldn't come out that day which was a little frustrating, but they worked with my very busy schedule to book another appointment. Dorian was our technician. He was very thorough and professional. He even took his shoes off after spraying outside so he didn't track dirt into the house. That was really thoughtful and caring! I had inside and outside treatment done yesterday as a first time customer. I was suppose to get service done inside a window of 12:30pm and 2:30pm; however I didn't get a phone call and by 2:15 I called to check in. Miguel answered the phone and tried to call, text, and call the technician again will no answer. 15 minutes later I got a text from the technician, Hani, saying he will be at my house in 12 minutes. Unfortunately, I had just jumped in the shower so when he rang the door bell I was in a towel. The service was great and he was informative and very apologetic. I just wish I didn't have to call and make it happen within the window they told me it would. He obviously rushed to my house after getting the message from Miguel. I did set up a quarterly service for the outside only, which is good since I won't have to be home for that. read more

My tech was John Patrick. We have a quarterly contract with Bulwark for exterminating services. So when my fiancee saw what he suspected was a rat, I called Bulwark immediately. And by immediately, I mean 730 in the morning. They set something up for the next day between 1pm and 4 pm. At 130, my doorbell rang and I was greeted by one of the friendliest people to ever set foot in my house. John explained what he was going to do and chatted with me while he did it. I hope never to have a pest problem again, but if I do, I'll definitely request that John be sent to take care of the problem. read more

I've had Bulwark for about a year now. All the techs I've had have been great, but my tech today was amazing! Edwin was prompt and showed up within my scheduled window. I called specifically about a huge spider I saw in my garage this morning. Edwin not only found the spider and killed it, he also thoroughly sprayed the perimeter of my home and every room inside. He even cleared spider webs on the outside of my house and 2 wasp nests that I didn't even know was there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I plan to request Edwin anytime I call. Upon noticing some sugar ants a few weeks back, I called Bulwark to schedule a follow-up from my quarterly pest control treatments. They were able to schedule a time convenient for me the next day and the technician James Wilson came out to take a look, advised me on what I shouldn't leave out on my kitchen countertops and sprayed all throughout the kitchen. He was very helpful and professional, took a look around the house after spraying inside to see if there were any obvious problems outside. Strong recommendation for James and Bulwark. read more

I'd like to start this review off by saying, I have a ridiculously unstable fear of roaches. Typing that word just made me cringe. I HATE THEM. Not only do I hate them, but I had resolved to live with the mini-heartattacks they cause, every time I look down and see an unusually dark spot on the floor. YES, THAT WAS A PIECE OF BARK. I'm fine. Really. I felt it a small sacrifice, to live in our great state, assuming it would never change...BUT IT HAS CHANGED! My husband and I found Bulwark Exterminating and have been using them since 2009. My request? I don't want to ever see any live roaches in my home. Well, I am happy to report - no roaches! (If you are a roach reading this review, I'd just like to say good luck getting past the liquid death around my house...sucka!) But seriously though - overall, we have been very satisfied with the work performed. The biggest compliment though, goes directly to their technicians. They have all been extremely courteous, patient, and thorough. Our last technician, Michael Costello, was no different. He arrived on time, reviewed the work requested (interior and exterior), and wasted no time treating the home. I've cannot speak highly enough of their technicians! Now, to every good there is a ehhhh/not so good. That ehhh is the scheduling. If you're needing a return treatment, they'll accommodate you without question or charge, but plan on waiting about 2 weeks. They seem to be rather busy, so I plan on taking the day off (often a hassle) and trying to be home during the scheduled service time, which is a 4 hour window. That can be a bit problematic. However, their technicians are very good about calling when they are on the way, which helps when you're running home from work. Overall, if you're looking for someone to nab the creepy crawlies before they make your home theirs, they'll get the job done. read more
