As a first-time customer, I was skeptical at first trying a new pest-control company, and that was only exacerbated by some of the issues I dealt with at the start with scheduling and delays. After some internal miscommunication, Aaron came to our home and did a phenomenal job! He is the only reason I'm going to use Bulwark in the future. I've had many people come to our home over the years to service the house, but he was knowledgeable, helpful, and went above and beyond without a second thought just to make sure I was taken care of - not to mention that he came early even! Next time you use Bulwark, ask for Aaron. read more

Bullwark is great, technician Ryan Le took the time to explain our options and got us taken care of. They guarantee their work, so if you see something before your next service, they'll come treat it for free. read more

Terrible customer service, Mark and his technician are liars. Signed up for service and never got helped. Charged and billed over $175 for nothing read more

I saw Tevin working away at my neighbors house and asked for him about Bulwark he told me everything they do. I gave them a call and the next day Tevin came over and did everything he told me he would in a professional matter. I can't wait to see him in 2 months. I love that I can call them when I see a wasp nest or ant mountain they will come within a day or 2 to remove it. Tessa read more

We have been with Bulwark for almost 3 years now - they do a great job! We bought a new house recently and they made it very easy to transfer the service. Anthony was here today and gave us some great tips for keeping unwanted visitors out of the house. All their techs are very knowledgeable and nice. The best part is they come back out for free if you find anything between visits and it's so easy to use their texting feature to ask questions and get info on scheduled visits. Great company to work with! read more

I'm very pleased with Bulwark and want to shout out one of their specialists in particular: Andrew is fantastic! He's attentive and great at communicating. He always goes above and beyond. I could not be happier with the service I was provided. read more

When I called to scheduled the appointment, the guy educated me about extermination and the process they would do when they came out to my home. A few days later a tech came out... legit sprayed what seemed like a type of Raid around the doors inside and wipes and sprayed outside. It didn't do much to my spider situation. I called them back for a follow up spray and a different tech came. He was surprised they did not lay out traps in the garage. Also, he sprayed all windows and restroom areas. This helped for about a week. I finally just bought supplies from the store to tackle my pest problem Update: after my previous review, the company reached out to send a tech to spray again. Whatever he used this time 100% eliminated my pest problem read more

We noticed a rodent issue on our property. Bulwark dealt with this as part of our package and our techs, Edwin and Chad have made a number of follow up visits to ensure that we're good. When we employed Bulwark for our pest control we emphasized that we like to attract bees and they've been very careful to follow our instructions. I'd recommend them very highly. read more

After a stray dog came onto my property, I began experiencing problems with fleas in both my front and back lawn. I had never had a problem with pests and the thought of treatments was overwhelming. After calling Bullwark and having the home treated, I noticed I continued to have problem (it is recommended to treat every week to two weeks due to the flea's egg/larvae cycle). Bullwark gives a 60 day guarantee with free treatments in between if you continue to experience pest problems after the initial treatment (peace of mind an convenient). I had moved out of the home and called for a follow-up treatment and, after prepping the house (extremely important) I was helped my Ahmad at Bullwark who was so extremely knowledgeable about the flea cycle and gave me tips on how to maintain them at bay and away from the inside of my home. Although he was running behind (large volume of contract work), he arrived w it h a smile on his face and a very patient and knowledgeable attitude. I am sure he was tired of being out past regular scheduled business hours but his professionalism definitely made me feel more at ease of what I could expect over the next two weeks. read more

Always reliable and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable and their employees are top notch. Brandon is super communicative and punctual. Give them a call to schedule! read more

Just terrible the guy that comes out is super lazy, we have to ask him to spray certain areas because he does the bare minimum. We've been in our new home for almost 4 months and outside our home is infested with spiders and bugs. We literally can't go on our patio it's so bad. You'd be better off going to home depot, which my husband plans to do today, and getting something to spray yourself. read more

To date, very pleased with this service. Professional, with good follow through. If I'm bug free within 6 months, will be over the moon!

So far so good. Promptness was on point. Very professional and courtesy. This was the 1st application in and outside of the house for carpenter ants. Boy when I tell you after he sprayed the area where I was having the problem they are everywhere. I hope these critters go away soon. I want to be able to seal the spot andtheystop pushing the putty out. So very annoyed. Thanks so far. read more

I used to give Bulwark 5 stars until I moved to Houston. I have had their service for 7 years. However, within the last 6 months, it just hasn't been effective. They had been spraying when it's raining. They say it doesn't affect it but we had to have them come out 2-3x every spray to fully rid of bugs. When they say they'll follow up, they don't. Then when the guy comes back out to respray, he didn't know there were notes to spray differently. He had to call when we spoke to him. If we didn't catch him, he wouldn't have dealt with the problem correctly. We finally decided to move services and when we called to cancel, the girl hung up on us! Even if it disconnected, she didn't call back. Very unprofessional and disappointing. We are patient and loyal customers but enough is enough. I don't know if I want to recommend this business. The technician did not show up during the scheduled time frame (11-1). I had to take time off from a very busy work schedule . I had called the office twice to get an update as to where the technician was. First time I was told that he was on his way. The second time I was told he was 5 minutes away. I had a meeting to go to and I left my house at 1:15. This was quite disappointing for a business that had gotten a lot of 5-star reviews. read more

I tend to only post reviews when I've had an excellent experience. After reading the reviews again, I saw another customer had the same problem. If you have a set schedule, I want to save you time and headache. I needed pest control treatment for a vacant rental property. The appointment time was for 3:30-6:30. The tech called around 12:50 saying he'd be there at 1:20 (no where near the appointment time). I obliged and rearranged things to make it work. I got to the property at 1:20 and received a phone call from the technician asking to verify the address. He had the wrong address and said he'd be there at 2. (40 minutes later than he promised and I was already there.) He finally arrived at 2:10. I rearranged my schedule and waited at the property for 50 minutes. I never received an apology and when I called customer service, they said, "The system sometimes has a glitch, so the wrong address can go out." Well if you know of this glitch, why don't you train your techs to confirm the address with the homeowner before they head out? If you work from home or have a flexible job, this company may work for you. If you are scheduled oriented, beware. read more

After putting my inquiry in online, they immediately called me with a quote and run down of their services. Andre came out to the house, earlier than expected, but convenient. Explained all what needed to be done and how they handle certain things. Can't wait to see what all we catch. read more

Had a roach issue. So I called Bulwark Exterminating. Fortunately, Bulwark was able to send someone that evening. Customer service was very helpful, initially. I asked about the cost, and he rate wasn't too bad. He said it was a discount rate. Brandon was the exterminator. Asked me immediately what the issues were. "Do I see small or large roaches? Where? How often..." then, he explained to me what he was going to do. He started to work his magic. Good guy. Very helpful. Friendly. When I told Bulwark Exterminating that I wanted to cancel my service, customer service changed. I asked multiple times for the receipt. And I still have not received a receipt. I did have an issue with their customer service. I like Brandon, and I would want him to come out again. However, my concern was with customer service, and how I still did not receive my receipt. Not sure if I would come back to Bulwark. read more

Serive has been ok and I have noticed a decrease in activity. Exterminators have always been friendly. I ONLY ask for this to be passed among team members please respect homeowner wishes of not interacting with pets in training. One of the exterminators did not respect or listen to my wishes of not petting my dog. He is a puppy and being trained please leave pets alone or ask permission before petting animals. read more

Bulwark has treated my home ELEVEN times over the past 3 months with NO improvement in the small pests on a windowsill. The technicians cannot even agree on what the pests are! Maybe springtails, maybe gnats, maybe moths. I have been very disappointed in this company. read more

Bulwark exterminating company was great to use. I found them on Thumbtack and they were not pushy or annoying to select them. The initial price was reasonable and Victor was very detailed and knowledgeable about what he was doing. read more

We've been using Bulwark since early this year. They were able to come right away when we discovered a huge nest of carpenter ants in our front porch eve. They have been coming out as often as I call them to deal with the crazy ants... what I really appreciate is their care for my puppies and my not wanting anything put down that could harm them! Great service! Gervase and Dwayne are supper friendly and customer oriented. read more

We recently left Fox Pest Control as they recently were bought out by Terminix and ran across Chad Dear with Bulwark Exterminating. Chad was helpful to explain the basics in keeping up with routine check up to ensure you minimize bugs, etc. We're happy to begin our business with Bulwark. read more

Ryan arrived at my house this morning right on time as stated in a text message I had received a few days earlier. He was very respectful and professional. He introduced himself and described the services he was about to perform. Upon completion, he let me know what he noticed that I could do as preventative measures. He also helped explain why the spider webs grow so fast. I am on a golf course next to a pond. Perfect recipe for bugs. Ryan is an asset to the Bulwark company. Thank you for his assistance. read more

They installed termite bate traps and broke sprinkler lines in two place. Was told to find someone to fix it and submit an invoice for reimbursement. They broke it and I have to do all the work to fix it. Don't hire this company. Beware read more

John Myles, the Pest Control tech that serviced my house did an excellent job today. I forgot to tell Bulwark that I have rat problem and knew I had to call them to come out again but when the today's job was completed, John was kind enough to text me what he did around my house. At that time, I was able to tell him about the rat issue and he put a bait box and left some sticky pads for me. This saved me the time of having to call Bulwark to schedule another visit. John was very thorough in his messages to me and what he serviced around my house...plus very professional. I used to use Terminix and changed over to Bulwark and very glad I did. I also use them for Termite service too. Excellent company, very punctual and professional/friendly staff. read more

These guys simply don't do what they charge for. On a recent (May 2018) appointment, I was charged for a service that was not performed. The technician didn't even show up. Apparently, the technician was reporting that he had performed the service and I was charged. My security video validated that no one ever came to the home. When I called, they told me that technician had been let go because he was reporting service to customers and he wasn't showing up. I gave them another chance. They sent an older gentleman out who ensured the service was complete properly. On the very next scheduled visit, a technician came by. Before I could make it out to greet him, he had gone. My security footage showed that he spent less than one minute at my property. Can you really properly treat a home in 50 seconds or less? The answer...NO! I've now cancelled my contract. If you want a reputable pest control in Houston, don't call Bulwark! read more

We called this company on Tuesday and by Friday they had someone sent out. Kevin came and was very professional and polite. He sprayed our entire house and the problem area and was done within 45 mins. We were very happy with this service and how professional Kevin was. 10/10 would recommend. read more

At first I thought this company was amazing until 6 months down the line. The person assigned to my area always does a half job and shows up late after the window. I have video cameras surrounding my home and the guy walked along the back of my house in the backyard and barely sprayed anything. He didn't go around doors or anything. My initial treatment was great but afterwards it started to go downhill. I want to be with a company that I can trust not one that I have to watch. read more
