UNRELIABLE !!! I called Preventative Pest Control for the first time to schedule an appointment for a quote for mole and ant issues. Instead of showing up at the scheduled time between 2-4 p.m., he showed up at 10 a.m. when I said I would NOT be home, but he gave me a quote anyway even though he couldn't access my back lawn for a complete assessment. I signed the contract and scheduled a day for the treatment. No one showed up, and I got a call from the service tech saying she DID NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT MOLES, but would still come out to treat for the ants, and another tech would come the next day to do the moles. Seriously. Well I could not be there the following day, and was so disgusted with their poor service, I cancelled my contract with them. read more

First service for fleas was pretty good. Follow-up service was a disaster. The treatment is supposed to dry in 3-4 hours. Seven hours later, our floors were still soaked. We had to open windows and dry mop the floor just to be able to get back inside. The place still stunk for hours after that. The company, of course wasn't open after 12 pm to address our concerns. I texted the tech. His response was that sometimes the treatment stays wet longer. Useless customer service. read more

I've had Preventive for about 6 months and unfortunately they have not been able to remove rodent from roof line after hurricane. $1k later and hole in my soffitt (supposedly to release rodent) hasn't worked. The ole bait & switch pest control company with a side of terrible work. They talk a great game but have yet to back it up. They used an inferior product at my rental house 4 years ago and they used an inferior product 4 weeks ago when they were in my apartment. My idiot ex landlord recommended them even though it was their responsibility & in the lease. If it were up to me I wouldn't pay the ish now but it's imbedded in the lease. Basically paid for them twice with same bogus results. The point is to get rid of the pest, stop them from reproducing etc etc. They spray something that makes them [yeah] and they pretty multiple. No matter how much you clean, or complain nothing changes. THEY'RE CROOKS. GO. ELSEWHERE. read more
