Ask for Steven! He is the most consistent with his services. He always arrives at the same he says, he is ALWAYS in a positive mood, and very respectful. Anytime I request for an extra treatment inside the home he has no issues and happily does so. I will resign my services just because of him! read more

"Avoid this company in Houston, TX. They always make excuses to reschedule and provide terrible service. Would not recommend.

TruForce pest control has gotten so much worse in their customer service. On their yelp business profile, it says it's family-owned but nothing about it feels family-owned. It seems corporate, from outsourced call centers to the lack of care from their technicians. Scheduling a time window with TruForce is such a challenge. They make you sign a one-year contract, but because they are not upholding their side of the contract, I am about to break the contract. I've called a few times to ensure that the technician comes on designated time windows because I need the inside of the house sprayed. Today the technician was supposed to call at least one-hour before he came. He called while I was taking my daughter to school, and he didn't leave a voicemail. I come back home and there is a post-it saying he sprayed but he didn't spray the entire exterior since my back gate is locked. For $130-140, what exactly did he do? He didn't spray the interior and he only did half of the exterior. When I called TruForce, an outsourced lady answered customer service, and was really short with me, trying to get me off the phone. This is highly aggravating as it shouldn't take so much of my time with this back and forth to get the service done correctly. TruForce is just like any other corporate business, in it for the numbers instead of a true small business. There are plenty of small-business pest control companies to try. Consumer- beware Also, just to inform others reading these reviews. A lot of these reviews seem fake, as if TruForce hired a company to create fake Google accounts to give them a high rating. I liked TruForce back then, when it was shared with an Arizona location. But not sure if the local Houston TruForce location was bought out by a businessman. Not sure - all I know is that no one cares about their job here - from the call center, to the technicians read more

TruForce Pest Control - Technicians are overworked, scheduling is awful and confusing due to outsourced (non-local) call center - Pest Control Near Me - Houston, Texas

Horrible customer service. You would think for someone that has been with them for several years that they would get it right by now. I would highly recommend staying away from this company because they tend to just show up on the day of your service on their convenience and never once have they been able to accommodate the timeframe that I was promised I just canceled my contract with them after being with us for several years and have been dealing with this issue every three months. There are much more dependable pest control companies in the Houston area. These people seriously need to get their act together. read more

Great service, efficient and helpful. Recommend for the greater Houston area. Fantastic!

I went back. Yes, I know. I had great techs for the most part and they took care of me. The issue was the office and to this day still is. I moved to a new home in December 2024. Reached out at the end of March 2025 to Tru Force to have my new home serviced after ABC Pest Control failed miserably. I told them I would give them a second chance. I specifically requested that the tech call or text me letting me know they are on the way. I work from home and need to make sure I am not in a meeting when they come. I have them treat the inside of my home. The first visit was scheduled for March 27 but got moved to April 3 due to weather. No problem. The April 3 appointment came with no call or text prior to coming. TruForce will send you an email and call a few days before letting you know the day they are coming, not a time or window of time. He showed up while I was in a meeting. He apologized and said he would add that request to the notes. Great. My tech was friendly and kind. He always made sure my home was taken care of. Based on the activity he saw he said every other month would be ideal. I agreed. After my second treatment on June 2 I began to notice an uptick in pests around the home due to increased rain. I asked to me moved to a monthly service at the beginning of July. I emailed the office and they confirmed. They stated my tech would be out next week July 10. Apparently he got sick that day and I would be rescheduled soon. Nothing. Then I noticed no one reached out to me to reschedule. I waited a couple weeks and pretty sure they forgot. After all this I decided to cancel. I emailed them and told them due to all of the scheduling issues, just like before, I was cancelling. The office there is a dumpster fire. They apologized and cancelled my service. This morning August 14 I received a call and email stating someone would be coming to my home next week to complete service. How? I cancelled my services. Yet again another administrative error with scheduling. They don't come when I need them and they try to come when I don't need them. It is a mess. Officially done with Tru Force. Buyer beware. read more

Shout out of many thanks to Jeff who came over to give the eviction notice to the swarm of wasps that were invading my house. Appreciate your expertise very much! read more

Professional, friendly, and great communication. We signed up for every other month services. They typically will text/call the week of as a reminder and text/call again the day of when they are about 15 minutes out. When they come indoors, they'll always wear shoe coverings. Definitely seen the difference in the pest (cockroaches, ants) sightings since starting services with them. When we do find bugs, they're usually already dead, which must mean its working! read more

We have been using TruForce for well over a year now. They are always professional, courteous, friendly and communicate very well. Isaac, the technician that comes to our house most often, is particularly pleasant. He always puts a smile on my face as he is always smiling and so positive. read more

I was contacted a few minutes after I submitted a request on Yelp, which was after hours. Jaylen called me the next morning and was able to answer all my questions and get me on the schedule for the next afternoon. My tech, Issac, called beforehand to give me his ETA, and he was right on time. He was super friendly and also answered all my questions. I will be using this company going forward. They made the entire process super easy and were very prompt to respond, which was great! read more

Great products but horrendous customer service. Been with them now twice and they can't honor the service that they promise within the window they give you. If running late don't provide a call so that you aren't sitting at home waiting on them. Just not respectful of their customers. I'd go elsewhere. read more

Ricky was great! Initial communication was great before service. He made sure to explain the treatment, and made sure my dogs were good and out of the way. read more

So far the services have been reliable, the staff, courteous and responsive. The process is straightforward, we'll see if the termite treatment works over a long haul, but they certainly inspire confidence, and the delivery of the service is so far has been as they have promised. read more

I have never left a review for a pest control because I've never come across one that was professional and nice until now. I had the pleasure of working with TruForce when I came across a rather large wasp nest. I hadn't worked with them before. They quickly responded to my Yelp message, provided me a reasonable quote for a one time service, and setup an appointment for the next day. Alex was the technician that came by and he did an AMAZING job. He went above and beyond for a one time service (most other places rush through since it's not repeating business, so I was pleasantly surprised)! When and if I decide to setup a recurring pest service, TruForce is going to be the only place I'd call! Highly recommend!!! read more

Great service. Friendly professionals. They do a great job. They call to let me know they are on the way.

Have been using TruForce for over 2 years. They keep our cockroach population under control. They respond to my texts immediately to change service dates and always show up on time. Roy is especially good at listening to our needs and does a thorough job. We shifted to monthly service from every other month and the price is about the same. Make sure to ask for a discounted first visit. read more

I use TruForce for my regular pest control, and they always have been great on schedule and service. A week ago, I noticed what could be a possible termite & called then to have an inspection. I was scheduled promptly (within two days) and Jaylan came to inspect the house. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer any questions and concerns i had. We decided to install a preventative treatment with traps outside the house. They came within days and installation was fast and explained throughout. He came right on his scheduled time and with plenty of updates before arrival. Great company and staff ! read more

Good service and done quickly. Highly recommend. If you have any issues with pests, you should give them a call.

6/30 I received another charge for $178. This is the 3rd charge I have received for a ONE time service. I'm currently on the phone with my bank to put a merchant block in place. I'm the middle of a house fire and relocating this is such a hassle. I keep getting reassured that the issue is resolved and I get charged again... read more

We have the new In Care system to takes away most of those awful little mosquito buggers that are a huge pain in the you know what. Jeff is our installer and we love seeing him monthly as he's the source of goodness, friendliness, professionalism and has basically eradicated the mosquitos from our backyard during the season. Except for a few here that slip into our house, I can say that we are mostly mosquito free. Mosquito prevention is a must do when living anywhere near the Buffalo Bayou and in treed areas. Love this service and can't do without it. read more

Nick called and gave a very heartfelt apology. I think the office person I had been working with left the company. I've been a 4 year client at Montrose where you don't have many bug issues. Regardless, I keep having roaches periodically, so I have them treat my house indoors occasionally. The technician made a big dent in the last treatment on my closet wall. Their tech supervisor said he needed to see it, but he was too busy for the next week or so. As a result, I chose to quit my subscription, but I was told a manager's approval was needed. I am forced to tell my bank not to pay them. Awesome customer service! I needed an exterminator to look at a piece of furniture to certify that there was some type of bug was eating at it for an exchange. I found TruForce on yelp and the person who helped with my appointment was extremely helpful and professional. She set an appointment for me with Jeff. Jeff very thorough and explained what type of bug was in the furniture. He described a couple of options to help me with the problem. He sent me a detailed email describing his findings. We've used TruForce for years and they're at my home quarterly- on time and helpful. Their prices are the best we found as well and they cover everything from mosquitos in the yard to inside critters. (Spiders, cockroaches, etc.) For me it's the service techs. Today was Shelby, other times it's been Alex, but anyone who comes always communicates well on when they'll be there, let's me know what they'll be doing that day and asks if we need anything or have seen anything that needs their attention. They've also just been good dudes that recommend stuff to shore up the house. (Ie- close that hole on the side of the house, or use this bleach/water solution in your drains when the weather changes) Love them! read more
