I would highly recommend staying away from this company because they tend to just show up on the day of your service on their convenience and never once have they been able to accommodate the timeframe that I was promised I just canceled my contract with them after being with us for several years and have been dealing with this issue every three months. TruForce pest control has gotten so much worse in their customer service. On their yelp business profile, it says it's family-owned but nothing about it feels family-owned. It seems corporate, from outsourced call centers to the lack of care from their technicians. Scheduling a time window with TruForce is such a challenge. They make you sign a one-year contract, but because they are not upholding their side of the contract, I am about to break the contract. I've called a few times to ensure that the technician comes on designated time windows because I need the inside of the house sprayed. Today the technician was supposed to call at least one-hour before he came. He called while I was taking my daughter to school, and he didn't leave a voicemail. I come back home and there is a post-it saying he sprayed but he didn't spray the entire exterior since my back gate is locked. For $130-140, what exactly did he do? He didn't spray the interior and he only did half of the exterior. When I called TruForce, an outsourced lady answered customer service, and was really short with me, trying to get me off the phone. This is highly aggravating as it shouldn't take so much of my time with this back and forth to get the service done correctly. TruForce is just like any other corporate business, in it for the numbers instead of a true small business. There are plenty of small-business pest control companies to try. Consumer- beware Also, just to inform others reading these reviews. A lot of these reviews seem fake, as if TruForce hired a company to create fake Google accounts to give them a high rating. I liked TruForce back then, when it was shared with an Arizona location. But not sure if the local Houston TruForce location was bought out by a businessman. I went back. Yes, I know. I had great techs for the most part and they took care of me. The issue was the office and to this day still is. I moved to a new home in December 2024. Reached out at the end of March 2025 to Tru Force to have my new home serviced after ABC Pest Control failed miserably. I told them I would give them a second chance. I specifically requested that the tech call or text me letting me know they are on the way. I work from home and need to make sure I am not in a meeting when they come. I have them treat the inside of my home. The first visit was scheduled for March 27 but got moved to April 3 due to weather. No problem. The April 3 appointment came with no call or text prior to coming. TruForce will send you an email and call a few days before letting you know the day they are coming, not a time or window of time. He showed up while I was in a meeting. He apologized and said he would add that request to the notes. Great. My tech was friendly and kind. He always made sure my home was taken care of. Based on the activity he saw he said every other month would be ideal. I agreed. After my second treatment on June 2 I began to notice an uptick in pests around the home due to increased rain. I asked to me moved to a monthly service at the beginning of July. I emailed the office and they confirmed. They stated my tech would be out next week July 10. Apparently he got sick that day and I would be rescheduled soon. Nothing. Then I noticed no one reached out to me to reschedule. I waited a couple weeks and pretty sure they forgot. After all this I decided to cancel. I emailed them and told them due to all of the scheduling issues, just like before, I was cancelling. The office there is a dumpster fire. They apologized and cancelled my service. This morning August 14 I received a call and email stating someone would be coming to my home next week to complete service. How? I cancelled my services. Yet again another administrative error with scheduling. They don't come when I need them and they try to come when I don't need them. It is a mess. Officially done with Tru Force. Professional, friendly, and great communication. We signed up for every other month services. They typically will text/call the week of as a reminder and text/call again the day of when they are about 15 minutes out. When they come indoors, they'll always wear shoe coverings. Definitely seen the difference in the pest (cockroaches, ants) sightings since starting services with them. When we do find bugs, they're usually already dead, which must mean its working! read more

I was scheduled promptly (within two days) and Jaylan came to inspect the house. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to answer any questions and concerns i had. We have the new In Care system to takes away most of those awful little mosquito buggers that are a huge pain in the you know what. Jeff is our installer and we love seeing him monthly as he's the source of goodness, friendliness, professionalism and has basically eradicated the mosquitos from our backyard during the season. Except for a few here that slip into our house, I can say that we are mostly mosquito free. Mosquito prevention is a must do when living anywhere near the Buffalo Bayou and in treed areas. I've been a 4 year client at Montrose where you don't have many bug issues. Regardless, I keep having roaches periodically, so I have them treat my house indoors occasionally. The technician made a big dent in the last treatment on my closet wall. Their tech supervisor said he needed to see it, but he was too busy for the next week or so. As a result, I chose to quit my subscription, but I was told a manager's approval was needed. I am forced to tell my bank not to pay them. Awesome customer service! Their prices are the best we found as well and they cover everything from mosquitos in the yard to inside critters. (Spiders, cockroaches, etc.) For me it's the service techs.
