As the highest rated pest control business in the city, I had high expectations for their service based on their online reputation. Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis. read more

Ashton came in, gave good advice, paid attention to all my concerns (including wasp nests, Yellowjacket nests, and spiders), took care of it, and did it with a casual but professional attitude. Positive energy that's always pleasant to work with when dealing with someone entering your home. A big plus was he was attentive to entering the home with respect, putting on shoe covers and a mask. Extremely happy with the service they provide: from the office to the field. I submitted a quote request via yelp and had a response within an hour or two. The receptionist I spoke with tailored a plan to fit my needs. I live near a wooded area and she basically knew what I needed. We worked out an initial inspection with pest prevention treatment and a quarterly visit from an exterminator to respray poison/chemical. The exterminator, Clayton, came by and did an initial inspection and sprayed his treatment throughout my home, attic, backyard, perimeter fence, and front yard. He told us that he killed the biggest black widow he's seen in his pest prevention career so we were very excited that he came by. I HATE BUGS! Bugco came out and explained their process to me and made me feel better. They took time to listen to my concerns and ease my mind by educating me on the bugs. I STILL HATE BUGS! I happened to see a bug in the house two weeks later and called them all crazy-like! They sent their guy out to do a follow up. He changed out the glue traps in my garage and checked the other traps to make sure all was well. He again explained what was going on and it helped me a lot. For the first time in years our outside spider issues were illuminated and we hardly ever see a roach that's alive. The third year annual termite inspection went super. Germaine went above and beyond and surpassed my high expectations. Very happy.

They have a lot of hidden fees. There was a $79.99 inspection fee for the visit plus a trip charge, but the 79.99 did not include any service. Don't know why a trip charge is included if no treatment is done. My wife talked to one of the women in the office (on speaker phone) who said the total would be $154.95, so the technician and I both heard it as well. We thought that was too high, but agreed to it. When he finished the service, he said the total was $167.73. We balked at that number because it was not what we were told on the phone and it was much higher than originally anticipated. We were able to get it knocked down to $154.26, but decided to not hire them for quarterly service due to the way they handled the pricing. read more

Before I had terminix and well, it was post-3months and there are still a lot of roaches, spiders, etc etc. He was very thorough, explained that I needed to caulk under the sink, and explained how close off any entry into the house. I also opted for the yard treatment. I will update in 3 months. Okay so not only did he spray my house but I had a light switch installed but just opened, another entry in. They are so good, we've only needed them twice over 11 months. We had them out right after we moved in last summer since the house had been vacant and the ants and roaches had taken over the yard and were finding their way inside.
