The customer service was awful. My boyfriend and I went yesterday, 8/7/23 at 3:55 pm. We walked in happy and greeted the employee on the clock. We were having a really great day. The moment we walked in, we already felt that the girl had an attitude, but we ignored it because we were having a good day. First, it took her a while to greet us, let alone serve us. When she finally did, she asked us what we wanted with an attitude. We ordered an oreo layered sundae, an item that we ordered a few nights ago on 8/2/23 @ 9:23 pm. On that night, we were charged $9.99, as the menu said it would. However, just yesterday, we were charged $10.88 because the girl charged us extra for the white Oreo cream ($0.89). She put a little bit of the white Oreo cream at first which was way less than the normal amount, so my boyfriend asked if we could get a little more. She had an attitude and squeezed the bottle really hard. She did not notify us that we were getting charged extra. Then, a white man walked in after we had paid for our order and sat down. She immediately dropped everything she was doing and greeted the white customer happily. I believe it was racism because my boyfriend is Black and I'm southeast Asian. I wish I saw the reviews earlier because it seemed like everyone has had the same bad customer service, and probably by the same girl. read more

What a ridiculous place. See photo of the menu vs what I actually got. She gave me just two SMALL scoops of ice cream that didn't even go half way up the cup (menu shows OVER the cup) and even after she filled the rest of the cup with cream, still didn't even top over. When I questioned why is the portion so small compared to the photo she rudely said, "that's just how it comes, napkins?" For $7 this was the biggest waste of money I ever had. We always dreamed of serving our favorite Ice cream cake from Baskin-Robbins at our wedding and we reached out to Shalin at Baskin-Robbins about a few months before the wedding to place our order and he was extremely helpful! We ordered 8 ice cream cakes for 150 people and we hardly had any left overs because everyone LOVED it!!!!! The order was made on time and Shalin advised us to carry them in freezer bags which worked perfectly because they did not melt at all getting to the Ebell our wedding venue (15 min) away. Ordered ice cream online for delivery. 45 minutes later no ice cream. Site says order cancelled, no explanation. Reordered, cancelled again, no explanation. Tried for the 3rd time and it was again cancelled, no explanation. I finally called and was told by a very young girl that they were out of my flavor. No one called, texted or even offered me an explanation over 3 cancelled orders. I would have been happy to order another flavor, if they had made an EFFORT to let let me know what was happening. It was my first visit at this place. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. I came in on a hot Friday afternoon, and they had some customers waiting patiently for their ice creams. Staff greeted customers as they entered the establishment. I saw on yelp that they have unicorn cake. I called 2 days prior to inquire, and they said that they only need 24 hrs notice. I came in to order the cake for the following day. I was amazed on how great their customer service was. They called to verify how to spell the name that went on the cake. When I came to pick up, they had so many cute cakes. They even have some decorated as succulent cakes. Their ice cream baker is so talented. Came with a few family members to get ice cream. A few in our party, They had group of employees there. Roughly 3. We were next in line and one of the employees assisted us. While doing that she left the first ice cream seating out. Then the other employees started helping other people there while my party was sitting and waiting for our employee do a milkshake. After like 6-7 minutes the first Ice cream is melted and when I asked to get a new one she seemed confused about why. I told her why and it was melted, she then mumbled something like "okay and". I told her again, I would like a new cup please. And without saying anything she went to go gossip with her coworker then turned and decided to go back and forth with me. I told her it's melted, why would I want a melted ice cream. She then went to the back and then the other Co worker came up to me, She said "we told her (my cousin) she needed a lid" and I said "the lid wouldn't help stop it from melting. Putting it in the fridge like you did for everyone else would have". Then she leaves me. After a few minutes, I ask once again, "can I get a new one please? Or a refund at this point" then she points to the back and mumbles. The two employees then talk to each other and the first girl goes and redoes it. Makes no sense why all of this was so hard? If the ice cream is now basically a liquid and melted, and you can see it- why not just replace it? Then- why help the men first when we arrived there before them? So I'm a regular at the Baskin Robbins near my house in Pasadena, and never before have encountered a less helpful manager person. I regularly get a small coke float at the one near me. A small float has two scoops of ice cream and they fill the cup as full as they can and give you the remainder of the coke so you can add more when the foam dies down. This float nazi refused to give me the rest of the coke with my float stating that this location doesn't give the rest of the bottle of coke but saves it for the next customer. I don't know about you and how you feel a float should be, but this float nazi had used less than a quarter of the soda in my float guaranteeing I get one or two sips of soda and then I'm stuck with dry scoops of ice cream in a cup. If I wanted just two scoops of ice cream I wouldn't have asked for a float. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a Baskin Robbins. This manager needs to loosen up the stick in her butt and not nickel and dime customers over made up company policy. read more

New owners. My Bananna Royal was made horribly skimpy. I asked for more whipped cream and the lady said that will be extra, also asked for chocolate sprinkles... Got the same answer. Who ever owner or opiated that place in the past would never say something that stupid. The girl puts no whip cream, the whole thing was so small it didn't even exceed the cup. I started coming here when I would visit the laundry mat next door. Back then you'd see the owner behind the counter. He was real friendly and would always ask, how your day was going. Well,gone are the laundry mat days,and now he has people who work behind the counter. Still there is the friendly service and a lot of cool flavors to choose from. Lately,I find my self visting here when I go to the pet shop next door. I usually go for either 2 or 3 scoops in a cup. Flavors vary depending on my mood. One of my favorites is Daiquiri Ice. A little sweet and tart. Good stuff. If your into the chocolate thing they have plenty of different types of it,so you can choose from many. The staff behind the counter is patient and helpful with the free taste samples. The place is very clean,no sticky floors here. So long story short I forgot to make the custom cake order 24hrs in advance. So I neeed the cake by 3pm the next day. when I called to ask at approximately 4:30pm the day before if they'd be willing to accept it the girl over the phone cut me off and said "no you can just pick one out of the freezer." When my fiance is in town from the Navy we always come here. Mostly its to satisfy our sweet tooth for ice cream. We try not to get the same thing each time but I usually end of getting a different shake each time. Its less messy than a cone in my opinion. My partner in crime usually gets a cone or shake depending on the ice cream he gets. We like to sample them before getting them because some flavors can be a little iffy. There's some weird flavors out there lol. The employees are always nice. Especially since we come almost close to closing time. Normally you would expect employees to get irritated but here they are very friendly and patient which is a great plus. We love coming here and most likely will continue to come here. read more

I'm a long time customer of Baskin Robbins ice cream,since the 60s .Always had great service.I've lived at the traffic circle area for over 5 years and have great service with the owner Tom.However just recently I went in,the new owner greeted me took my order and then walked out the door without saying anything. Extremely rude behavior.I have spent over 30 years in retail sales been a store manager,never had I seen anything like this.I will go to the Bask in Robbins at Palos Verdes where Tom still owns.But ximeno not another dime of my money will be spent there.hopefully corporate looks at these reviews. read more

Super friendly staff here, and of course a huge variety of yummy ice cream! Parking can be a bit of a pain since it's part of the huge parking lot shared with Ross and other assorted establishments. Since I am boycotting Coldstone, and there are no Ben & Jerry's near us, this is the only ice cream place that's semi close. After staying the same for eons, Baskin Robbins recently stepped into the 21st century with a new logo and different, "bolder" flavors. For me, it's pretty much the same as it ever was.(Letting the days go by...) Sure, they have the "wacky" new kids flavors, but they still have the old stand-bys, too. Usually it's 31 flavors of crap I don't want, but they had peach and blackberry choices that were surprisingly tasty. I still can't figure out why the hell they put almonds in their pistachio ice cream!? This location is very clean and the staff is friendly. I do think the prices are a bit steep, but with milk being super expensive these days, it's hard to blame them. Now whenever I have fro-yo burnout, and need an ice cream fix, this is my go to place. read more

We ordered two large malt shakes and one small shake and it cost $23.00. Unfortunately they were so thin it was like drinking cold milk. Would have been worth it if the shakes were nice and thick. I called the next day to see if by any chance they can have it ready before 6:30pm and DORA made it happen!
