They don't participate in the Baskin Rewards App so I wasn't able to redeem my free welcome scoop, and the price for one scoop ($5.79) is pretty ridiculous, but the lady working was exceptionally kind so I'm upping my rating to 4 stars for the human element. Can't overstate the importance of that. They have tons of flavors so that's cool and there are some deals on certain days so I would be sure to check them out before stopping in. There's usually somewhere to park in the large parking lot but it can be busy certain days/times. No bathrooms :(. But the seating area was clean and quiet and I felt welcomed! Hopefully you do too if you decide to stop in.

I had gone to this location initially to redeem my complimentary Welcome Scoop reward, but lo and behold, I was told that this location wouldn't honor such a reward, a decision I question the motive to as it didn't feel welcoming in any sense. However, the location is quite convenient as it's in the Vons Circle Center by the traffic circle, and I can stop by multiple other places on the same visit here without having to drive out of the way to the next closest location. The following week, I went to treat myself to some ice cream after a long week of work, and I didn't feel like going elsewhere. When I came inside, there was just one customer and one employee inside the shop. While the employee was serving that customer, I took a look at the ice cream chests to see what flavors they had. Just like the first time I went, I didn't see any flavors that were No Sugar Added, but the Pistachio Almond caught my eye as one that would be more savory than sweet. When the employee was ready to serve me, I told her I wanted just one scoop of the Pistachio Almond. There wasn't much of that flavor inside the ice cream chest that it almost looked like at first glance they had run out! Fortunately, there was still some left for me :) That employee was pretty pleasant, even asking if I wanted a cup or a cone, and I can tell she appreciated my business. Too bad I forgot to ask her name, but it seems to be a good indicator of good customer service at this dime a dozen ice cream shop. I chose a cup, and I took the cup of ice cream to the table closest to the freezers in the far corner. Now why 3 stars instead of 5? While I appreciate that the flavor wasn't as sweet, it kind of missed the mark for me. I know some people would much prefer not to have nuts in their ice cream. I personally like nuts in ice cream, but I think they overdid the nuts to the point where they detracted much of the flavor from the actual ice cream itself. In other words, most of the flavor came from the nuts themselves, and they can only bring out so much in one scoop. Also, the prices went up sometime during the week! A single scoop before was $4.99, over $1 more expensive than the next closest location at the time. Now, it's $5.79! The prices of double and triple scoops also went up by $1. Yikes, hopefully this inflation thing isn't getting out of hand. As alluded to before, there are a few freezers on the far corner of the shop where you can pick up some cakes or some pints of BR flavors. There's also some nice BR decor on the left wall, which I did appreciate as it momentarily transported me out of the busy world and into a world with nothing but this sweet treat lol. Convenient location, and the cashier was pretty good as well, but with the recent price increase and the lack of No Sugar Added flavors, I may have to drive out of my way next time I'm craving Baskin Robbins. Or if I'm being lazy again, I could just stop by Vons and pick up a tub of Breyer's/Dreyer's instead.

Nothing like a quick trip to Baskin-Robbins for an ice cream pick me up. There was one staff member present and she was quick and efficient. She greeted me upon entry and waited for my order. I decided on the creature creations because they're super cute! I got the dragon one and the little dragon tail is a piece of white chocolate. It comes with a cute crown that you can color. I decided I'm going to use mine as a book marker. It's located in a busy parking lot but there are plenty of parking spots. They still let you sample flavors. I returned to this location another time, earlier in the day and they had more flavors available.

Chocolate fudge and Oreo Cookies 'n Cream

The ice cream here is sooooo good! My favorite are definitely Chocolate Fudge and cookies n cream but I've also tried the Oreo coffee one and the sherbets and 100% recommend as well! Service is good girls are always ready to help. The only thing that I will say is that prices in my opinion are a bit high for the amount of ice cream they serve. Some girls are good on filling up the scoop some are not lol besides that I recommend trying these flavors. Ambiance depends on the time you go.

Last minute ice cream run! We got a scoop of Peanur Butter and jamoca ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was very delicious and rich. We appreciate the service, even though the store was a bit overwhelming when we arrived. Thank you!

I came in a on hot day and got myself a single scoop of the peanut butter chocolate and it was great! Didn't wait more than 2 minutes and was attended very well by Dora. She was alert and served my scoop generously. The place was clean and not busy either.

So severely disappointed. I came back to get a cake from here because the first time I got one it was so perfect they exceeded my expectations. So I came back to get my birthday cake and not only was it not ready when I came to pick it up even though they had days to do it, it did not look neat. They wrote the writing incorrectly so I had to tell them to fix it and they didn't put cherries on it even though I ordered them. Then they put thawed cherries on it instead of frozen ones. The juice got all over the cake ruining the way it looks. As you can see in the pictures there's the cake I had got before and then the one I got today. 34 dollars and you can't even do a nice job? So disheartening.

Dropped in for my latest obsession: a kids double scoop of wild n reckless & rainbow sherbet with gummy worms on top, something about this just makes me a happy gal! To my surprise the store was empty, this location is always pretty busy. The gal working behind the counter was quite busy but greeted me at the door and was very pleasant, attentive, and inviting. While she was ringing me up online orders were coming in AND the phone was ringing, she was making it all happen with a smile on her face. My receipt says the name is Shalin, she was delightful! I frequent this location often & we are always happy with our experience. Till next time! read more

This is the worst baskin Robbins. They never have enough employees. It always takes forever and the employee looks miserable like you are bugging them for being a patron. Order from door dash and items are always missing. The worst. Pass this place up. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday and there was just one poor employee trying to manage a line of 16+ people. We waited over 20 minutes and counting- currently in line. The hiring team really needs to prioritize staffing especially on weekends. Nobody should have to scoop under that kind of pressure and staff and customers deserve better. read more

It was my first time ordering ice cream from Baskin Robbins and probably my last. Don't get me wrong, I love purchasing ice cream cakes for special events from here but I can't justify the price of a single scoop of plain ice cream in a cup to be $6. I'll just stick to other ice cream locations that offer better and unique flavors. read more

I thought the reviews would of lied but nope I went 3 different times a week apart they never have waffle or bowl cones ever only for the Oreo cones only!!! The staff just looks at you , your not greeted I was waiting in line and the lady helped someone who just came in for a pick up she didn't say hold on or nothing , my kids told me to dropped it, that's the only reason why I didn't go off on her! But yeah this store sucks and it's sad because I'm use the the willow location but this location is by my house. I guess I will have to find a new spot these employees need training and they need some inventory clearly I won't be back and if I do I will be taking pictures ! read more

Entire business is a complete ripoff. I stopped going years ago because they were grossly overpriced and the ice cream was average. Much better quality and prices at Brusters. They had a promo for me that they would not honor. I am going to contact their customer support and BBB. Really annoyed at the false advertising and the way they handled my situation at the store. I just called to order a cake. The employee told me she was not allowed to take phone orders for cakes and that I have to come into the store and just buy a cake from their fridge. I explained I wanted to customize the cake and not just pick a generic one. She said she is not allowed to take phone orders for a cake. Unbelievably ridiculous. I mean it's 2023. I would have ordered online but need it in 24-36 hours and the app only allows 48+ hours. My bad for not ordering earlier but WTF. I'm almost 50 years old and this is the first time I couldn't order an effing ice cream cake over the phone. So dumb. Whoever owns this location needs to get their sh$t together. That's a $45 cake y'all just refused to let me pay you for. SO. EFFING. DUMB. read more

When I step into an icecream shop with my children I want it to be an enjoyable experience for them and for myself its ice cream! Ice cream is an amazing treat that brings smiles to everyones face but when I went to this location I was helped by Izzy who was in a bad mood and everything I asked seem to bother her. It totally ruined my happy mood with my children and made me never want to go back again. Train your staff to have better customer service or let them go. No one wants to leave an ice cream shop from all smiles to wanting to throw the ice cream at the stores window for having miserable workers. Owner please do better and show your staff you care so they can make everyone elses experience the experience we deserve when we step into am icecream shop! read more

I have been going to this shop for years, but today was my last time. Customer service is a must for me as a customer. Th employee was making an item, but I was there for over 5 minutes. She walked right past me several times and never made eye contact, never acknowledged my being there, never muttered anything about being right with me. Even when the item she was working on was complete, I was never acknowledged. I left and went to another store a couple miles away. The employees were very nice and welcoming. Plus, the same cake I was going to buy was $12 cheaper, even as a custom cake. The store on Los Coyotes and Palo Verde will be my new store from now on. read more

I do not plan on coming here again. 1/10 for me. Cute wallpaper. Upon entering baskin robbins there was a really bad smell (between musty and old mop water). The music that was being played was hardcore mexican "Banda" type. As for the service, the girl who helped me out on march 18 @ 8:45pm wasn't friendly. The ice cream buckets looked old and most of them had not been replaced. Very low variety of ice cream cakes at the freezer too. The shake I ordered didn't taste like an Oreo milkshake to me. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Inpaid $14.99 for a fresh "Packed" Ice Cream and received less than packed. They also use there Non Branded Paper Bags. If we pay premium price for ice cream, we expect an "experience". This ice cream shop makes the best milkshakes in or around Long Beach and I've tasted most of 'em. The owners are often there in person to make sure each milkshake order is made correctly without fillers, syrups or ice milk. Pure good. Really good. read more

This location has about the worst customer service ! Oh and whatever you do, don't ask for extra toppings. I asked for extra sprinkles & was told it would be extra (I okayed it, thinking it would be like $1) No, this girl hit the "extra" button 4x!!!! LOL I got charged $4 for extra sprinkles. I know it's not a lot, but lord for sprinkles REALLY! I hate that I tipped before she gave my total with an attitude. I normally go to the PV & Los Coyotes location & never have I ever paid $12 for ONE double scoop in a cup. Yikes. read more

Great location. Lots of parking as it is located inside a big plaza. The staff are friendly. You can sample flavors before you decide which flavor to buy. Caramel turtle and green tea are my favorite. Not too sweet just right. One issue we encounter was when we ordered waffle cup. For some reason it was soft as if it was made long time ago. I asked one of the server and told me that they recently made it. If their waffle is soft and don't like it like that, skip the waffle. read more

The customer service was awful. My boyfriend and I went yesterday, 8/7/23 at 3:55 pm. We walked in happy and greeted the employee on the clock. We were having a really great day. The moment we walked in, we already felt that the girl had an attitude, but we ignored it because we were having a good day. First, it took her a while to greet us, let alone serve us. When she finally did, she asked us what we wanted with an attitude. We ordered an oreo layered sundae, an item that we ordered a few nights ago on 8/2/23 @ 9:23 pm. On that night, we were charged $9.99, as the menu said it would. However, just yesterday, we were charged $10.88 because the girl charged us extra for the white Oreo cream ($0.89). She put a little bit of the white Oreo cream at first which was way less than the normal amount, so my boyfriend asked if we could get a little more. She had an attitude and squeezed the bottle really hard. She did not notify us that we were getting charged extra. Then, a white man walked in after we had paid for our order and sat down. She immediately dropped everything she was doing and greeted the white customer happily. I believe it was racism because my boyfriend is Black and I'm southeast Asian. I wish I saw the reviews earlier because it seemed like everyone has had the same bad customer service, and probably by the same girl. read more

This came with a potato pancake which was like mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and then fried. Service was okay, I think because it was pretty busy. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.

COMPLAINT PART 2 Another reason why they are so unprofessional is because they're was always incidents going on with Dora were she would start to fight with my coworkers there. A GROWN WOMEN STARTING FIGHTS AND DRAMA WITH A BUNCH OF YOUNG COLLEGE GIRLS. For example with my coworker Allegra, one day Allegra was out of one dollar bills of change and absolutely needed them because there wasn't any extra ones in the change fund and she didn't have any in the register either so she gave a call to shalin to let him know that they were out of dollar bills and Dora snapped on Allegra started yelling at her violently INFRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS, all because Allegra was doing the right thing and she yelled at her so bad that she made Allegra cry which is very unprofessional ! If you have an issue with your employee you pull them to a private area and have a conversation with them to adress the issue, you don't just scream and yell at them especially infront of a customer that is very unprofessional and is also considered abuse in the workplace. To me aswell Dora yelled and me and started fights with me. She would also talk about the employees and called sade a bitch and talked bad about everyone behind their backs. Which is very unprofessional .. everything with this business is not okay. This is the reason why I ended up quiting. I loved working at baskin Robbins and with Tom as the owner I had such an amazing experience and would recommend for anyone to work at baskin Robbins it is such a great environment and fun place to work at. BUT NOT AT THIS LOCATION WITH SHALIN AND DORA AS THE OWNERS. they ruined my experience working at baskin Robbins and made me hate the job when they became owners. And I have full witnesses that can say that everything that I am saying is true. My husband and I both grew up in the Beach area of Long Beach. Although we don't live there anymore, we often come down on weekends to walk along the boardwalk or attend various events during the summer months. Our day always ends with a visit to Baskin Robbins. Their ice cream and gelato are amazing!! The variety of flavors make it a difficult choice, but I've now settled on a scoop of Tanzanian Dark Chocolate and Espresso gelato as my favorite, and my husband tries various ice cream flavor combos. While waiting in line, you get to enjoy the smell of the home made waffle cones being made, so one of these is a must for your gelato or ice cream selection. Going to Baskin Robbins in the beach is a treat. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I needed to find a low calorie Birthday cake for my good friend who is on a serious diet. I called Baskin Robbins hoping to find a sherbet ice cream cake. I reached Tom, who is the owner. He designed a lemon sorbet (with no cake filling) and explained that a 3 oz slice was only 130 calories... Just push the small amount of frosting to the side. I was amazed! My friend was so impressed (and satisfied) that she got to have a low cal slice of cake on her birthday that tasted soooo yummy! He really listened to my needs, and produced exactly what i needed, and all this was done within a matter of hours... Thanks Tom! I't s Baskin Robbins, so it automatically gets five stars from me to start with. I love Baskin Robbins chocolate fudge ice cream! The reason that I took off one star is because the girl behind the counter was new and was struggling with my order of a pint (12 ounces) of hand packed ice cream. I am not faulting her for being new, it is expected. My problem is that the other more experienced girl behind the counter could clearly see the poor girl struggling and offered no assistance. I hope that next time that I come in the service will improve. read more

One of the best in the USA, they let you taste everything. The Pistachio is the best. The Hazelnut and pecan also great. Can't go wrong here. read more
