We had a new patio cover installed and everything went like clock work. One guy comes out and measures then another a few days later to double check the measurements then the cover is built. (measure twice, cut once) When ready to install a crew of professionals come out and in record time, the thing is installed and looks like it's always been there but new and shiny. John's company All Pro Remodeling, was highly recommended. We visited the show room and were impressed by Eric (showroom man) who took his time to explain all kind of patio cover they have. Eric is "GREAT," BUT First, the person that came to measure and provide with estimate, didn't show up on time. He gave a verbal estimate on the spot with the promise that later I'd receive an email with itemized costs. Lo and behold, a week later, I have not received the "promised" estimate via email. Since John was recommended by a person whom we really trust, it never occurred to us to check All Pro Yelp's comments. We are so happy we did. Reviews are rather poor. It covers over 800 square feet, and includes gabled roofing, lattice work, fans, lights, and a swing that is a part of our family history. It was a particularly challenging project because of the difficult footings that had to be dug under an existing block wall, and the overall complexity of the structure's design. The Alumawood patio cover they installed looks great and the installer was very professional.

A few weeks back my wife and I decided it was time to get rid of the termite infested dry rotted wood patio cover we had installed by a questionable crew when we purchased our home new in Brea. A neighbor had a small patio cover done by All-Pro so I decided to give a call. I was put in touch with their outside sales person, Craig Steele. Craig came out the next day, we talked about what I wanted in a patio cover, he showed me install pictures from all over the area and a list longer than the O.C. yellow pages of satisfied customers. Our existing patio cover in Red Cedar had been installed w/o proper sealing of the wood and had numerous openings for termites and dry rot to attack and attack they did. Craig priced out a new cover in aluminum with a 15 year warranty while he was there and two days later we visited the showroom to "seal the deal". Engineer Sebastian came out the next day to go over all the details and then demo took place within 10 days. Between demo and installation of the new cover we had enough time to have our house completely repainted...no small feat for a two story 3000+ sq. ft. home. The install crew was scheduled 2 weeks after the demo and even beat that date by a mutually agreed new date. Long story short. The new cover went up in 1/2 day and looks fantastic. They even put our old lights on the new patio cover. From initial meeting to the final screw in the metal, they were professional, quick and clean and provided a new patio cover that my wife and I will love for years to come. We needed a patio cover...not just any patio cover but a cover which would convert our backyard into an outside area containing a sheltered seating area for TV viewing, music for the pool and finally a Kitchen/BBQ/Bar area for entertainment. All-Pro was our lucky stab in the dark. Having only seen their adds in home improvement magazines, I decided to visit their website...and impressed with the products they had to offer. I then visited their showroom for more of a hands-on idea of the materials used and the variety of structures possible...even more impressed. We met with Merv for his ideas for constructing what we really wanted built. Merv is a true professional at what he does. In that short visit he was able to sketch out exactly what we wanted and gave us a price we could handle. Next came Curt. He was responsible for the scale drawings and product specifications as required by our HOA. Curt and the entire All-Pro team gathered and presented all the items required to our HOA for approval. Construction started, not with a whimper but with a crew of experienced people who knew exactly what they were doing and when it should be done. Foundation was cut, holes dug and four steel upright pillars were set in concrete, Once the concrete cured (2 days) the patio cover itself was placed and the electrical installed (2.5 days). The entire project went smoothly and without incident. Thanks to John Johnston, President, and his very talented and knowledgeable staff members and crews this whole project, from inception to HOA to construction to finished product proved to us that there are still Professionals in the of construction who really know their trade.
