Extremely satisfied! This is the second project Marty and his crew have completed for us. We decided we wanted to put a gazebo in our backyard. But we needed a cement surface. However, there was some ugly footing at the bottom of our existing brick fence that we needed to hide. After speaking with Marty, he offered his recommendation which was to create a cement bench. Adding the cement bench not only hid the ugly footing, it also gave us additional seating. Take a look at the detail in the brick. It's magnificent. Near the end of a major renovation of our previous home which our daughter & son-in-law rent from us, we needed block walls to replace wood fencing. We hired Marty to fix some irrigation issues and complete a retaining wall project that we had started. He replied quickly to our quote request, and stuck to his price even though it ended up being a little bit more work that anticipated. He didn't lag on communication while we were setting up the work schedule. He replied when he said he was going to, and kept us updated as we approached the installation day. Our irrigation pipes needed to be re-routed to avoid the new retaining walls that were going in, sprinkler heads moved around, and there was a drain pipe from the upper lawn that was completely clogged up with dirt and roots. They did a great job of replacing it, and making sure we had positive drainage to the curb before covering everything back up. Before discovering the plumbing issues, my wife and I had built the lower retaining wall. Marty fixed some things that we could have done better with that wall, before moving on to finish the 2nd and 3rd walls. He was very communicative the entire time...making sure that the new irrigation and wall locations were exactly where we wanted them. He knew when to let us make the decisions, and when to step in with his advice. Marty and his crew showed up on time, kept the jobsite tidy while they worked, and cleaned up when they were finished. His team was courteous and friendly, and had a smile on their faces the whole time...despite the fact that they were working on a Sunday!
