Has done multiple jobs for me at different locations. Concrete brick, concrete removal, and some tree removal. I've been in construction for 50 years and I have retired so I looked him up and tried him on my first project. He did a very good job just the way I would've done it.. I've since used him for other projects and he's just as professional. If there was something I wanted a little different or a certain way he never argued and did it. This is from years of working with other contractors, which are most are terrible. He's not one of them. He's a pro, left everything immaculate. His price was good. His workmanship was excellent and his attitude is fantastic. This is from years of working with other contractors, which most are unskilled. He's not one of them. He's a pro read more

Looking for a concrete guy I got the chance to speak to David first. What a genuine soul he is. His team is wonderful. He hears what you want, and puts it into action. He picks up his phone and answers text messages. He double checks before he purchases just to be sure it's right. His prices are very fair. He is just a salt of the earth guy. His work reflects it. He will be my concrete contact. Work Done was so beautiful. You need something extra he doesn't say no. Everything was washed and perfect. read more

These guys rule. A lot of places didnt want to take my job because it wasn't big enough for them. These guys are down for big or small jobs. Super courteous crew, VERY fast, and very detail oriented. I told them i just need a quick slab poured, didnt really care how it looked and they kept a guy on site for hours checking, skreeting, floating, and brushing the concrete until it looked amazing. Very affordable and for the difference of my buying materials myself, getting friends to help me mix and pour versus having them do it, well, you just cant beat it. I am hiring them to do my kitchen counters next. I can't recommend these guys enough. Great people, great, work, and great price. You hardly get all three ! read more

Thank you David and Sam for doing a wonderful job on our project. I needed a little section demoed and fresh concrete poured. David was very communicative and checked in on the project consistently while Sam and his crew did great work. The only thing is the quote given was changed after coming out to prep for the work. In the end I will use David and Sam again for future projects! read more

David and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. This company is by far one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Communication was fantastic, the project came out exactly as asked, they finished the work quickly and efficiently and far and away gave the best price. At no point did I feel like I was being over quoted or taken advantage of. We will definitely be using their services again in the future and recommending them to anyone we know. David was very professional and completed the demo of our old patio. The new concrete installation was reasonably priced. Great work overall

I'm so glad I found David and his team at Pacific Concrete through Yelp. All the positive reviews about their quality of work, professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness are absolutely true. David and his crew completed several projects for us, including a stucco wall, a cement side path, a paver driveway, and a paver front courtyard. My neighbor and I were both extremely happy with the shared wall, which passed city inspection without a hitch. Even after it was completed, David gladly modified it to accommodate the unique railing designs of both our homes--no questions asked. The paver work is stunning--photos just don't do it justice. The surfaces are solid, clean, and perfectly aligned with no gaps or unevenness. It's clear this crew takes pride in what they do. David's team is not only skilled and hardworking, but also friendly, respectful, and detail-oriented. Throughout the entire process, David treated me like an old friend--honest, easygoing, and genuinely invested in getting things right. If you're considering a project, just give him a call. You won't regret it. read more

I cannot recommend David and his team strongly enough! Let me start by saying that I had significant puddling in my backyard and driveway and a desperate need for water drainage off my property. I also had a very old and busted patio and walkway in my backyard. David was one of several bids I received for installing drainage and replacing the driveway with pavers. Not only was he the best bid but he was the only one that mentioned the need for a sump pump due to the slope of my driveway. He even worked with me on pricing so that I was able to get everything on my backyard wish list while also replacing my front walkway! The project took exactly as long as he estimated (1-2 weeks), and he checked in with me every step of the way so there were no surprises. His team was especially respectful of the existing plants and my outdoor pets. He was very communicative and honestly a pleasure to chat with every day. He also has a great eye for detail and holds his team to high expectations. Everything turned out better than I imagined. I wish I had more projects for him and his team to do! read more

David and his crew was hired to demo and rebuild my front reatining wall and install turf. He also installed sod in my backyard along with a custom drain line. David and his crew began the day I agreed to his estimate. Everything we agreed upon was completed without any issues. The project took about 2 weeks to complete. Overall, David is very easy to work wtih and he wants to make sure he meets your expectations. I definitely would hire him again to work on other concrete, masonry, turf, sod and other needs. read more

Before David even talked to me about taking on my job, he recommended I check with the city to see if I needed permits. I didn't and it was go go go after that. We talked about removing a tree that had messed with my previous fence. The work was quick and solid. His crew is neat and on it. His prices are fair for the work that is provided. I talked to him about some other projects I needed around my house and he was able to provide quotes and payment plans. My new wall is complete and his team is demolishing my kitchen as I type this. David is punctual, and communicative, and his work is quality. If you need anything done--ask! He probably knows a guy :) Pictures soon... read more

David and his crew deserve 100 stars!!! From when he first arrived on time to give us a quote to the very last day when the project was over, David was professional and knew what he was doing!! We wanted the planters in our back yard taken out and replaced with concrete, they concreted a big side the front of our house creating a much larger driveway, they concreted the side of our house and put a drainage system leading from the back yard out to the street, they made a beautiful 3 foot wall dividing the neighbor's property from ours, AND they made a beautiful brick porch for our home. Our porch was a basic, ugly cement porch and David turned it into a beautiful brick porch I have always wanted. Pacific Concrete was reliable, fast, clean, and knew what they were doing!!!! David and his team did a great job on our concrete addition. Great communication and gave me a great deal. Definitely highly recommended !

I'm so glad I found this service and they did a fantastic job with masonry work on a rental property. The owner is really nice and worked with me to schedule a time that worked well for the tenants. After confirming the new cement wall blocks were the right color, they got right to work bright and early. When the job was completed, the new planter, short walls and the loose bricks repair turned out great! I was very impressed with the quality of their work. While it was a 1 day job, they didn't rush at all and had great attention to detail to each phase of the job. 5 Stars and I'd definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors! read more

I had a 56SF patch of dirt & rocks that I wanted to have filled because it was a waste of space. I contacted several contractors on Yelp but most said that the job was too small or they would have had to charge me an arm and a leg (all understandable). David was the only one willing to work with me. He accepted the job and worked with me on pricing because he knew I would give him more work (which I did). His crew began work immediately and finished the demo and pour in about two days, and it came out great. My backyard also needed some serious help, so I had him replace old pavers and dirt with more concrete. I found out he did landscaping and his team cleaned out the weeds, along with removing several unsightly bushes and plants. And they built a brick retaining wall in an otherwise unusable space that I now plan to use as a planter area. All in all, I'm super happy with David's work and I'm excited that I can finally use my outdoor space. Thank you David and I would be happy to work with you again! read more

I want to give the loudest shout-out and thank you to David and his work crew at Pacific Concrete. After three years of speaking to many contractors who all had just as many ideas on how to solve our house lot problems, They all did agree on one thing- the property had serious drainage and grading issues and a prior, poor 90's concrete job was not helping the problem. Luckily, I came across Pacific Concrete's web page and called. It would be the best decision and the right choice for our major outdoor problem project. David came and walked the property, took measurements, and confidently and patiently explained in detail how and why his project plan would work. He was there every day with his crew available to answer any questions. The guys at Pacific Concrete are the nicest guys, polite, professional, hard-working, and know their craft. They built from scratch an impressive rock-solid concrete basin to hold their newly installed sump pumps controlled by an electrical switch inside the garage. So when it rains, no more running to Home Depot to get tarps and plastic to keep the water from wreaking havoc on the yard. Now, I just happily turn on the switch from the comfort of my home and listen to the sound of the rain outside hitting Pacific Concrete's fresh new concrete and the humming of their new sump pumps and drainage system pumping the water away from the property, doing everything David assured me it would do. In a true definition of professionalism and customer service, he called during that big recent rainstorm and made sure everything was good...Yes, everything worked perfectly...and to think I used to dread the rain, now I smile :) I have received many compliments from neighbors, friends, and people walking by looking at the fresh, well-poured, clean-edged concrete saying" Wow!! They did a great job!" To all the crew guys, and Levi and Guillermo, you are the best and did an excellent job, we thank you. If you have a project, remember to call David at Pacific Concrete. They go everywhere, L.A. County, Orange County, the South Bay, etc.... He will listen and explain his plan, the crew is top-notch, they show up to work, and when they are finished and gone you are going to miss them, but you will smile as you look at the impressive piece of work and craftsmanship that they put into your home project. I still do. David and the crew at Pacific Concrete is an excellent choice because they "Stay Ready" and they bring their A-Game to their work projects. read more

David and his crew from Pacific Concrete are awesome! I posted a request for estimates on a Monday afternoon, David replied within minutes that he could come out the next morning to provide an estimate, and upon agreeing to his price, the work was done in a single day on Thursday. This was a small job - widening an existing concrete walkway on the side of our house about 16 inches wider and about 35 feet long. For many othe other companies I reached out to, this was too small of a job and they wouldn't even bid. For a few others, they provided estimates, but David's was in the ballpark, and I just wanted to use his company. The quality of the work, David's responsiveness over phone and text, and my desire to support a company run by a Pacific Islander made the whole experience very satisfying. I'm going to need more hardscape work done around our house in the following years, and won't hesitate to work with David and his team again. read more
