We hired Williams for a new driveway/front yard and backyard remodel, including a new patio, outdoor grill and fireplace, and the whole experience was great. It's been a little over a year since I used Williams Landscaping to do some work in my backyard. I wanted to give it time before I reviewed. There were many things I liked about the company and their work as a whole. Christian and the team are great, and they were quick once the work started (project did get delayed a while though). There were a few issues with the turf and weeds coming through, but they came out and installed a weed barrier and it solved the problem. One of the main reasons I wanted this work done was water pooling/flooding when it rains. They installed drains but missed a drain in one of the most important areas. All the concrete that they installed slopes to one side and they didn't put a drain in this location. So water still pools in this area. I am a perfectionist so I tend to focus on the small things (concrete imperfections, weeds, etc). The backyard turned out beautiful and my overall vision was accomplished. If you do choose to use them, make sure to be specific about all the small details, and make sure they are thorough with the turf or you may have the same issues I had. read more

I actually contacted Kristen and Christian last minute to get one more quote and they responded so fast! They came out for an in person quote and gave me a quote/breakdown within the day. Kristen had great communication throughout the entire project. I gave her my vision and she was able to provide ideas about what plants I could use on my side wall. It was hard to imagine how it would look without it sketched out but we managed to make it work. She sent pictures of what she had available at the nursery and additional photos of how they would look when they bloom. Note that she really wanted to make sure I had plants that required the same water. Christian was also very informative about what type of sod we should choose. In previous quotes, people only gave me one dog friendly option but Christian was able to provide much more including pros and cons of each! I appreciate the extra knowledge he could provide since I had no idea where to start. During the project we ran into some issues with the plants not spaced properly but Kristen and Christian took care of the issue almost immediately. Here are a few things that were unique about Williams comparing them to other contractors we've worked with: - there was no "upsell" during consultation and there were no "change orders" during construction. Their written estimate was incredibly detailed and turned out to be incredibly accurate. - when it came time for construction, we saw the same crew everyday and they were all professional, arrived on time and worked a full day. Which meant the project ended on time. - They worked our project from start to finish, not piecemeal scattered around bigger projects they had. - Right from the start the owners, Christian and Kristen, created a group text with my wife and I for any questions or concerns during construction. What was unique was that they answered everything we brought to them within an hour (often sooner). A full landscaping project is incredibly expensive for homeowners. I would describe the team at Williams as communicative, creative, and fair. We'd moved in with a plan to renovate the yard but it had never been a priority. They made my small townhome's backyard look like the yard in a brand new model home. It's a slice of heaven.
