I contacted Kyle for a quote to remove an existing fence along one side of my property and replace it with a 6' block wall. His quote was very competitive and the most reasonable, so I decided to move forward with Sandstone Construction for the project. I am so happy with the work Kyle and his team did! They were on time every day, cleaned up after themselves every day, were friendly and delivered outstanding service! They are true professionals who work extremely hard even when it's really hot outside! I will definitely hire them again for future projects and you should too! read more

They did a good job installing the foundation the first day, then came back three more days to complete the project. Overall a good result. Call Kyle. He was very responsive and does the job well!! I needed to move my masonry privacy wall as it was flushed against our electric panel. I called a dozen masonry companies and only a few called back with a quote. Many said my job wasn't "big enough" or didn't meet their "minimum" dollar amount. Kyle scheduled me for an appointment, came on time, explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote before end of day. On the day of the job, he came on time with his crew (of 3!!!) and got the job done as explained. His crew cleaned up well after work each day. I'm super happy with the quality of finished work, supervision and multiple check-ins with his crew, and straightforwardness from Kyle. His quote was also the most reasonable out of all quotes that I received. I definitely recommend Kyle for any type of masonry or similar jobs!! This is my honest review and did not receive discount for posting a review. read more

We just did a project with Sandstone Construction to fix a broken divider wall, demolish sunroom walls, and fix up some minor issues on two properties. I had five different contracting companies give estimates, but Kyle from Sandstone gave me the best quote and I had a feeling they would give me personalized service for my project that the others were not offering. When it came down to doing the work, Sandstone Construction finished the project early, charged me the estimated price and even included a few extras on the project that we didn't think of. I would highly recommend Sandstone Construction and am 100% satisfied with the quality of work and the way they worked with me. read more

Kyle and his crew just completed a paver project at our home. They were very professional and easy to work with. Each day at the end of the work day they cleaned up and swept the work area. The finished project was exactly what we were looking for and what was promised. Kyle came highly recommended and I know why. read more

This the the second concrete project Kyle and his crew from Sandstone Construction have completed for us. Kyle is great to work with. He responds in a timely manner, provides reasonable quotes, and the work he and his workers do is of the highest level of professionalism and expertise. We couldn't be happier with Sandstone construction and wouldn't think of using any other company for our concrete needs. read more

The long story ? The house during torrential down pours sprung a leak. After much investigation it was discovered that the roof ( that had been replaced 18 months earlier ) had caused damage to the flashing that had been in place for decades attached to the chimney. I reached out to Kyle through Home Advisor and after a bit of arranging of schedules he was able to come out and take a look at the fireplace to verify that there was nothing structurally wrong with the chimney. Kyle was kind enough to chat with me, hop on the roof, photograph the damage and produce a quick report that amended what had been seen by others confirming that the roofing company was at fault and there was no damage other than cosmetic to be fixed. I certainly would be very apt to chose Kyle again for additional work on my properties. read more

They are a very hard working team And also has the best service. Kyle is very smart guy To handle his business

Did a good job of building a foundation for my spa. Price was reasonable and the service was great

I highly recomend working with Sandstone Construction. They responded promptly to our masonry project and offered a range of options to meet our budget and concerns. Their crew came and worked hard and efficiently to complete the project. They were not the lowest bidder, but they do not cut corners. Sandstone does quality work with materials and methods to meet current building codes. Throughout the process they responded immediately to concerns and were easy to contact. read more

Sandstone Construction is doing a great job thus far. They did a wonderful privacy wall that looks like a work of art. Everything was done swiftly with no problems. The owner Kyle helps as well making certain that all is done up to par. I'm having another smaller wall done to match the other and that looks super good as well. I'll post pictures when all is done. read more

Wow! I can't say enough about this company and Kyle. This was the first time I have had a construction job done where the contractor showed up on time, and showed up every day until the job was done. He gave me a price and never tried to increase the price halfway through the job like most contractors do. He kept everything clean throughout the process and went above and beyond. He is very communicative, sending pictures and texts to keep me updated. I value that in a business. He is honest, reliable and so kind. Don't use anyone else - Sandstone construction is the BEST of the BEST! read more

Kyle and the crew were amazing. In our agreement/contract, he mentioned that the job would be done by a specific date in a "workmanlike Manner" and he certainly didn't disappoint. It was actually completed a little early. He demo'd basically our entire backyard concrete deck around an existing pool and the team installed a difficult 150 linear foot long by 6 foot high engineered retaining wall on a sloped section to my architect & engineers specifications. We were so happy with the dedication and conduct of the job that we decided to de-scope a job with another contractor to replace the demo'd pool deck with pavers and awarded the job to Kyle & his team. We couldn't be happier with the service & work provided. Highly recommend him for this type of work. Greg & Betsy W. Yorba Linda CA. read more

Of 3 estimates, Kyle was the best value (and also the lowest) of the bids for a block wall that was teetering because of tree roots. After removing the trees, a storm knocked down the leaning wall breaking many of the blocks. Kyle kept to his original estimate, did not charge more to replace the unusable blocks, and finished the job in 2 days, adding rebar where there wasn't initially, and cosmetically looks excellent. He also had a gap in his schedule that opened and was able to complete this a month earlier than originally scheduled. He and his small crew were a pleasure to work with, and thorough. I had initial concerns since he was the lowest bidder, but after reviewing so many 5-star reviews from work in well-to-do neighborhoods decided to go with his firm. I was not disappointed. read more

I reached out to Kyle in the midst of the terrible rainstorms. A roofer pointed out to me that I had substantial cracks in my Chimney, which I would never have thought to inspect with any regularity. Kyle came out to take a look and gave me a quote. As proposed, he and his team showed up at the exact time he stated, they steadily worked on the project, he was responsive to our questions and concerns, respectful of our property and did incredible work. Most importantly Kyle proved to be an honest man. He discovered that the Chimney was not made of the material, that we originally thought. He shared this information and adjusted the projected cost accordingly. I highly recommend the services of Kyle and Sandstone Constuction. Gary T. read more

I hired Kyle at Sandstone Construction from a referral on FaceBook Placentia Buzz page. Our planter wall in the backyard was falling over due to overgrown roots and ongoing earthquake issues. His crew was professional, cordial, thorough and efficient. Kyle estimated 3 days and they were completely done in 2 days with my backyard looking cleaner than upon their arrival. I was very satisfied with this job. I later had sod put in by a gardening company, but it sure makes the wall look even prettier. read more

As a contractor myself, I am particular about who I hire, especially when hiring another contractor to do work on my home. I found Sandstone Construction through Angi; Kyle was prompt to respond regarding the renovation of my brick patio. I got a good impression of Kyle from our meeting and from the positive reviews of Sandstone Construction. I really appreciated Kyle's flexibility when it came to design questions, and to his workmanship which is excellent. Our patio project turned out beautifully and even better than when we originally installed the bricks 25 years ago. I give Kyle and Sandstone Construction my highest recommendation. read more

Kyle and his team did a great job replacing our backyard concrete patio with a natural stone patio, with work done on our low garden walls too plus a pathway to our hot tub. He previously had installed our backyard fence, covered with stucco. His communications is sometimes not the best, but otherwise he does excellent work and he is willing to take care of it all from start to finish. We are very happy and will be using him again once we have saved up more funds for our next project. read more

Kyle and his team were recommended to us for work that we needed done filling in areas needing concrete in our backyard and replacing broken tiles that we had. Kyle came out to our house to do an estimate. Never heard back from him regarding the cost even after trying to follow up with him a couple times. We had a small job requiring patching of a gap in our driveway left when we removed an old fence post. It was such a small job that we figured in these busy times most would just not respond. Kyle did, and completed the job for us. It was actually complex in detail as it was, literally, patching a 100 year old driveway in Old Town Orange and incredibly enough, Kyle matched the texture and surface so perfectly that it looked like the original. So not only was he responsive, but also highly skilled. We have several other projects that we will be having Sandstone Construction help us with in the future. read more

Sandstone Construction has done an excellent job on several projects on the property. Repairing and bring up to code unfinished projects from another contractor. This review is for projects completed in La Habra, CA - Drain systems for rain water run-off to prevent flooding into the home. - Gardening boarders, pathways, brick steps, hand rails, - Correcting unfinished projects from another contractor. - Drain system for two retaining walls, other contractor didn't do. - Water sealed the retaining wall, other contractor didn't do. - Repaired concrete and brick work, other contractor, ruined. Another contractor working on the interior of the home, commented on the quality of Sandstone's concrete work to blend new/old concrete patterns and craftsmanship. Kudos to Sandstone Construction. Kyle is very accommodating, works hard to bring your ideas to life! I am whole-heartedly recommending Sandstone Construction. Well done. read more

Put in about 160 ft. of block wall and split the cost with our neighbor. Kyle's crew was friendly and very hardworking. It was hard digging and hauling yet never heard a single complaint. The job was done in a week and the wall looks great. Very happy with the competitive price, materials, and obvious experience/craftsmanship. I would use them again. read more
