Jan C. I would highly recommend Millennium Construction as a construction company. I hired them to clean, re-sand and seal my pavers. They did the project and a couple of months later there was an issue with the sealer. I contacted Hieu and related the problem He was very responsive to the issue and came to my home to look at the problem. To resolve the problem they cleaned off the old sealer and re-sanded and resealed the pavers. The company was outstanding to quickly answer phone calls and emails and always did so graciously. I worked with Hieu entirely and could not have asked for anyone to be more accommodating and accessible. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up when they were finished with the job. I think it is very unusual to have a company that is so good with communication and willing to correct an issue. This is the second time I have employed Millennium Construction for a major project and have been very pleased. The first project was a complete backyard overhaul. They did a magnificent job which I enjoy every day. In fact, they suggested changes that I would never have considered and I love the outcome. This latest project was installing a new electrical panel and subpanel since my original panel was full. They were able to complete the project including permits very quickly (a couple weeks) and I had been dealing with another electrician for a year! The other part of the project was removing my old brick hearth and fireplace and replacing it with a porcelain fireplace. They removed the old gas insert and applied a new electric fireplace and moved my smart TV from a corner to the middle of the fireplace. In addition, they balanced the entire room with matching bookshelves. I am so happy with the changes and use it every evening. You are guaranteed three things if you choose to work with Eddie and his crew: 1.) work done right, the first time 2.) work done on budget 3.) great communication throughout the process Eddie and his crew did a phenomenal job with our backyard remodel. They worked with us to create a design we loved and a budget we could work with. Eddie and his crew will not be the cheapest quote you get, but you get exactly what you pay for and more. At every step, his crew was professional and did quality, efficient work. As with any plan, it never survives contact with reality- as the crew began implementation, if there was something that didn't look right or they thought would be better a different way, they sought our input to make changes. Something unique about Eddie is that he doesn't sub-contract. All the guys that work for him, work for him, giving them complete control over the quality of the work, and it's evident in the final product. About the project: we had a pretty busted backyard, including a cracked up patio, drainage that always flowed toward the house, trees that had taken over due to years of neglect by previous homeowners, dirt instead of grass, super inefficient sprinklers, etc. It wasn't usable unless you liked dirt and over-paying for water. Eddie and his crew designed plans that could be broken into phases to fit our budget needs and then once we agreed on the plan and the budget, Eddie and his crew transformed the space in 4 weeks, exactly as promised in the timeline, the plan, and the budget. They did everything from start to finish- demo and tree removal, grading and drainage, efficient irrigation, paver patios, edging and decorative rock, pre ran electric and low voltage transformer, and finally sod and mulch. Never did they try to nickle and dime us, increase the budget, etc. They exceeded expectations and delivered a final product we love and have been enjoying for a few weeks now. We had a great experience with Millennium. We contacted Eddie and he came out and immediately had some great ideas for our project. He recommended a 3D rendering be done to help us visualize, and we took him up on it. The designs came out great, so we had Millennium start. Eddie was very responsive, and his crew came out right when he said they would. They worked just about every day, and finished the project in 3 weeks. Some of the things I liked best about Eddie's team was that they were very friendly, worked hard, did things the right way, and cleaned up the site daily. At the end of the project, there were some small things that needed to be taken care of and Eddie made sure that they were finished. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT USE MILLENNIUM CONSTRUCTION! Like Theodora (11/2015) and N.L.'s (7/2019) review's, my experience has been almost identical. We are 4 1/2 months in to a 2 month remodel of our pool and bbq. It started out great with workers coming 6 days a week and keeping a clean work environment. It quickly turned in to a nightmare whenever we questioned Eddie about anything. Like Theodora, we were told he was the professional, he knew what he was doing and not to worry. He did not build to scale (way bigger) and we told him this several times. He proceeded to do as he pleased. Everything his workers did, had to be redone over and over and over again. It's quite obvious that Eddie has a problem with women as he would roll his eyes at me, walk away from me and speak in a condescending tone. He rarely visits the job site, (unless asked) and I ended up doing all the quality control myself. From the manufactured stone he used (which turned color and wasn't to be used near water) to the pool tile (which they chipped and put on crooked numerous times), to the synthetic turf (they switched the day of install), to the fake turf warranty he tried to pass off, to the pool plaster which is suppose to be smooth and is rough on the sides, the list goes on and on and on. He told me verbatim that he wished I had researched the stone before choosing it. Eddie took us to Thompson Design and told us to pick anything from this wall to that wall and that is what we did. How are we suppose to know what can and can't be used outside or near water? He has called me ridiculous too many times to count and said I'm causing him ulcers whenever I questioned materials being used and/or the numerous mistakes being made. We paid him almost $10,000 weekly, as he required, for materials that he either didn't purchase or jobs that weren't done properly. We have already paid over six figures to date and the job still isn't done and his workers rarely show up. Although he has redone several of HIS mistakes, it is a constant battle and getting him to do it the way WE want it done is even a bigger battle. We've gone weeks without anyone coming at all or he will send a guy out for an hour here and there. Eddie's response to this will be that I am difficult to please and nothing makes me happy. I can tell you this, I have pictures, texts, emails, etc.....to prove my every word in this review. If he did it right the first time or even the second time (I understand things go wrong), we wouldn't be in this mess now. I was patient, tried to speak to him in a calm tone and tried to resolve these issues. He left me in tears on a daily basis. There were many other issues that I didn't address here, but I think this review speaks for itself. Save yourself the headache and the money and choose another contractor. Better yet, choose individuals who perform each task needed and save yourself a ton of money by not having Eddie be the middle man (which is basically what he is). read more

We bought a new home with a dirt backyard in Rancho Mission Viejo in 2016, in 2017 we contacted multiple companies to provide their visions of what we where looking for and Eddie blew all others away with his visions. They transformed our old back yard that we hated to spend anytime in, into an expanded outdoor living space and can easily entertain 20+ people in the back yard. Before (6) was a crowd. We can gather at the Island while cooking, eating,,, etc and watching our favorite sports. Sink with Hot & Cold water, disposal, Frig, etc,,,. While in the center Patio that opens as desired, watching a diferent TV event and gathering around the Fire Table Or very comfortable at the Fire Pit. All the work is at the highest quality and standards. They put in all the appropriated drains, hose bibs, electrical outlets, plants, drip irrigation, landscape lighting, TV(s), Sound System for Music,,, etc,,, . Eddie and his team built us an absolutely gorgeous covered patio just in time for the hot California summer. He worked with us to come up with a suitable design and I'm so glad we decided to include dimmable LED lights, outdoor fan, shingles and rain gutters. I have known Millennium construction and Eddie Guerrero for over seven years. He and his crew refurbished my entire pool area seven years ago. The day we met he was on time, organized, made his presentation and answered all of my questions. I had my plans and a quote within a week. I was given a start date and a finish date which he met. The price quoted was the price I paid, other than additional upgrades I added. I couldn't have been happier with our results, which led me to 2020/2021 when I hired Eddie to refurbish the outside of my house and the inside. He arranged for painting, new windows, flooring, closet doors, new laundry room cabinet, clear down to new door knobs throughout the house. My front yard was unsightly and I had Eddie completely upgrade the yard. I now have a private English garden and sitting area with a water fountain. Over the last five years I have had Millennium Construction do about $150,000 worth of work on my house in Laguna Beach. Mr. Eddie Guerrero, Millennium's CEO, has been the perfect professional paying attention to all aspects of the work being performed. On one occasion Mr. Guerrero inspected some tile work being done in my bathroom and determined that the work was below his expectations. I am not someone who writes reviews on work done for me (I'm sure like most people), but I feel compelled to write a review on Millennium Construction. My wife discovered that small amounts of water had leeched into a bedroom wall from an outside leak. We have had leaks from rain before and have had other construction and/or plumbing companies attempt to fix the problem but, to no avail. We contacted Millennium and the company's CEO, Mr. Eddy Guerrero, inspected the site and immediately determined the problem. To make a long story short, Millennium fixed the problem, and we were so impressed with their professionalism and expertise, that we had more work done to beautify our backyard. Wow! They did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier. We are thrilled that we have a backyard we can show-off and is so functional. All of the different crews (for the different aspects of the construction) where always on time and the site foreman always kept us informed as to each step they would be taking. Just had work completed on a complete paver job using the product PavesScapes on all of my out door surfaces, driveway, sidewalks, entry way, back patio, pool area. The product is all it says it is,...the idea of covering existing concrete without unnecessary demolition, yet giving a very nice cosmetic improvement, as well structural. I called Millennium Construction last year based upon a recommendation made by my neighbor. I needed an old deck tore out and replaced with a new deck. The deck was 40 feet long and 24 feet wide. I wanted to use a product known as trex. Mr. Guerrero came to my house, look over the proposed project, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Mr. Guerrero recommended I use clips to fasten the trex to the joists because, he said, the look would be "cleaner" and no holes would be drilled into the trex. I agreed with his recommendation. The following day a crew came to my house and by the end of the day the old deck was torn out and cut up into small enough pieces so that I was able to burn the old wood in my fire place. The next day the trex arrived. Within two days the entire project was completed. I now have a beautiful and "clean" trex deck which should last the rest of my life! I highly recommend Millennium Construction for anyone's home projects. read more

Not only were the workers incompetent but both Eddie, the owner of the company, and Jesse, our project manager were rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and very argumentative with us. When problems arose or when we didn't like something (which happened a lot, almost daily) instead of fixing it or trying to please us they instead said "stay out of it, we are professionals and know what we are doing. How dare you tell us we are doing it wrong and telling us that you don't like it." I had to fight them on everything to get anything done correctly. It caused me much more stress then it was worth! I constantly had to watch and "babysit" them as every time I turned around something had been messed up thus, why our projected project went over by 4 weeks.
