Armando and his guys refinished our entire back patio, including garden planter bricks, brick columns in the front of our house, and driveway bricks. It looks fabulous. The back patio was 1970s looking brown pebble tec around the pool and patio area (which was fading and coming loose), and the side driveway was painted concrete which got super slippery in the rain. I wanted something textured that my kids wouldn't slip on, and I wanted to tie the whole house together with one uniform coating. Their crew worked really hard for us, and they really paid attention to detail. The painters were super neat, and the guys doing the coating were meticulous. It was a really big job, and it took a while to complete, but they kept at it and did it right. They've even come back a couple times to fix some little things that I messed up, or that happened through normal wear and tear. I hired Rescrete to do the epoxy flooring for my beauty spa, and my experience was a mix of excellent service and some challenges. Contacting them was quick and easy. Armando and his brother came out for a quote, and after meeting with a few other companies, I felt most comfortable with them. At the time, I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth, so I had to fully trust them with my shop. They not only moved all my furniture out but also stored it safely in their warehouse. They began working on my floors the day I was in labor and later moved everything back in once the job was done. Their initial service was truly 10/10. However, after a short time, I noticed issues with cleaning the floors--simple things like footprints wouldn't come off. I reached out, and Armando personally came by to troubleshoot. He showed me how to clean the floors using a magic eraser, which helped in some areas but wasn't a reasonable solution for the entire floor. Over time, the floors became more stained, and no method we tried could remove the stains. Armando returned to assess the issue, and after further investigation, he brought in the manufacturer. It turned out that the sealer used was from a bad batch. To their credit, Armando and his team took full responsibility and redid my entire floor using a different sealer. The difference is night and day--my new floors are so much easier to maintain, and I haven't had any of the previous issues. My only major complaint was how long it took for them to fix the problem. The redo was delayed over six months, which was frustrating. I understand they had other projects and that mine was a redo, but the extended wait was difficult. That said, they never ghosted me or ignored the issue. Overall, while the timeline for the repair was disappointing, I appreciate their honesty and dedication to making things right. It took a while, but Rescrete recently came back to repair/improve all the blemishes from the original job. All the areas that were peeling or cracked were resurfaced. Most importantly, we decided to strategically use the largest cracks on the driveway to create a faux flagstone surface which not only conceals the existing cracks but hopefully relieves some of the pressure that could cause future cracking.
