I had the best experience with Jose and his team. They listen to the customer and know exactly how to make your vision come to life! They immediately came to the house for a walkthrough and were able to start the job the following week. Working with so many teams on our home remodel has been so hard... this has been the most efficient team we've had at our house. Super grateful to they were recommended to me! read more

Update: this company used photos of my house without mine or my husband's consent on their social media to promote their work, even though they did a terrible job. Instead of fixing this issue by offering us a full refund for the awful work, they posted photos of our home and then blocked me. We hired a new flooring company that did an amazing job! They had to rip out the entire floor that OC concrete put down to ensure that the job was done correctly. They were very thorough with the job, working long hours to ensure our floor was put down properly. Unlike, OC Concrete, who rushed the job, which lead to very obvious mistakes and lead to us being inconvenienced for almost four months. NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! read more

If you need concrete stain. Call Jose and his amazing team. Very fair price, great courteous and punctual and clean crew. I use Jose team 10 years ago. 10 years later I call Jose again to get my backyard concrete stain redone. It looks amazing ! even better then the first times. Mike and Miguel did an awesome job. Mike is gifted to do what he loves and it shows. Though me and my wife had different color preferences, Mike really made our dream come true as he knew how to mix the color to make it perfect for both of us. God is good ! Thanks OC concrete stain. BUYER BEWARE! Unlicensed!! Paid him $2,500 to stain a driveway, 30 days later the new paint started to peel away from the red brick. It took Jose 3 months to show up to fix the peeled paint from the driveway, he blamed the worker, because he painted it the wrong color! I could not be more happy about the job they completed. I wasn't sure if my cement patio was salvageable but Jose (owner) assured me that he could resurface it and make it look beautiful and that's exactly what he did. The finished product exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family. Also, the price was very fair, especially seeing all the time and effort that went into the job. read more

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Completely unprofessional! Set up a meet and this guy never showed up! We called him and he wouldn't answer. Several attempts were made to try to find out why he didn't show. We waited for at least 45 mins. And we moved on to the next reliable contractor who actually showed up for the appointment they agreed to. If he can't show up to an agreed job walk then what makes anyone think he will show up to do the actual job!!! Save yourself the stress and time and chances of getting ripped off Don't use this guy!!! read more

Luckily I DID NOT use this company. Call at your own risk. This guy is a BIG flake. I was scheduled and then the day of, he never showed. After I called him, he said he thought it for the next day. I was 99% sure he was up to something but thought hey let's give him a chance. Then the next came and went. I didn't call or text him at all. I was waiting for him to let me know what happened. We hired Jose of OC Concrete Stain to re-stain and seal our driveway. he promptly assigned a team to come over next day and completed the work. we found that there were some color differences in some areas. Jose personally came to review the problem and did a part of the work himself and for the remainder work he sent Brian. Brian's work was neat and thorough. When rework was needed, Jose communicated timely with us. Of course, we had to be patient since Jose and his team are very busy. Overall we are very happy with his work. read more

Do not use this company. I should have listened to the awful reviews because unfortunately they are true. Recommended OC Concrete Stain to my grandparents. They stripped and repainted their pool deck. It's a huge area with many layers of old paint. Not to mention lots of cracks to fill since it's an older patio. The workers showed up on time, were professional, worked hard and most importantly did a great job! Highly recommend. read more

We have been in our house over 20 years and our patio was looking faded and sad, I contacted OC Concrete Stain and they provided a quote and design idea that I liked. They showed up on the day scheduled and I was very pleased with the outcome, our backyard looks brand new. About a year later, I noticed a spot that started to fade prematurely. I contacted Jose and he responded quickly after I sent him a picture of the issue, without hesitation, he out his team to touch up the spot and now looks good as new!! read more

Called Jose and said I needed some concrete stained. He said "great". We set a date and time to meet, and he asked me to text my address, which I did along with confirming the date and time of the meeting. He immediately responded and confirmed. Jose's gave me personalized service like an old friend, then sent me two guys that did the work past expectation. Great price, great service, worked booked in short order, showed up on time, made sure that I knew how to treat the new surfaces (driveway, garage and patio), made sure I was satisfied each step of the work. You can truly tell that Jose cares a lot about his customers just as much as his business. Jose was punctual, took the time to educate us, and was able to quote me a great price. He was also a really great guy to work with during all phases of the process. His team consisted of Michael and Lalo who were also a pleasure to work with and they truly did an outstanding job. The floor looks more like a marble floor than a concrete floor. I'm very happy with the whole thing... I'll update with more pix as we continue to update our furniture. The floor really complements everything. Huge thanks to Jose, Michael, and Lalo! read more

I'm not a people basher but I would have to agree with all the other 1 star reviews 100%. Very bad experience and very dis-satisfied. 33 one-star reviews warrant attention. Jose had his crew install limestone tile on the side of my house. They should not have taken this on! The installer spread the grout on the limestone before sealing it and the limestone absorbed the grout and was discolored. Ruined about $20K of tile. Jose promised me he could get the color out and had a 16 year old kid spray w a power washer. The limestone is soft and it totally destroyed it. After 4 weeks of dust and a severely distressed family we told him we'd deal w it later. 1.5 years later he finally showed up (after at least 6 appointments missed) to fix it. He claimed he could replace half the tile. I give him an extra star for coming back. I know he has some health issues in the family but, the job is still incomplete. He's ignored at least 30 texts and phone calls. At this point all I want is the recipe for the color we chose to seal the new limestone and cover the discoloration. He's MIA. It blows my mind. Oh and his crew left tools and their ladder. I have never had an experience quite like this. He looks you in the eye and promises to be "back tomorrow" and then he just disappears. The "flake factor" is evident in every one of the one star reviews. He goes in and pumps and dumps and is not detail oriented or meticulous. "Maybe" if you want to seal a driveway at a rental but don't use this crew on a high end home. read more

Love the work the team did on my downstairs flex space concrete flooring. They were easy to communicate with over text, responsive, reasonably priced and professional. Jose was amazing to work with and very fast with scheduling. He was able to beat 4 other quotes I received and even provided better quality materials than the other quotes. I highly recommend them for all your concrete needs! read more

After a several week-long process of researching companies for my garage floor renewal project I decided to hire OC Concrete Stain and I couldn't not be happier about my decision. Jose knows more about concrete than anyone I could find in Orange County, hands down. I am admittedly high maintenance because I demand quality work for my hard earned money and OC Concrete Stain does not disappoint. I actually had a very small concern and what do you know, Jose sent a team out the next day to make it right. Tell me where you can find that level of customer service in this industry. Before my garage floor was disgusting, smelly oil-stained mess and I can see my own reflection in my garage floor. It's unbelievable. Thank you Jose, Chris and Jaime! read more

UPDATE: Jose paid me a settlement of 1/3 (10k of the 30k) I paid him for the cost of doing the floors. It was nice of him to do that. I am now able to put that money towards redoing my floors and baseboards once I can save up enough money. In the short term I will redo the shower floor as the product used should not have been used in wet rooms. thanks Jose for making it right To their credit at least they tried many times to fix it. But they simply lack the skills to do a really smooth durable floor. First time they did the floors it had big dark roller mark lines all over the floors. So they had to completely redo the floors. Which meant we had to move all our furniture out for them to redo the job. The second time they did the floors it looked much better however they didn't put any sealer on the floors (although they claimed they did). Therefore vacuuming, dogs claws and furniture would literally tear up the floor. Also had the top coat bumbling up. Also all these little pin holes which would indicate no sealer was used. They agreed to come a third time, if I paid for the polyurethane epoxy sealer product, so we moved everything out of the house and they did the seal. They quoted me $1200 and then at the end of the job tried to collect more money. I showed the owner Jose a text from his partner that he had quoted me 1200. Then he proceeded to call his partner a liar and said it was 1500. After expressing my displeasure he accepted 1200. Now my floors have huge shiny polyurethane sealer marks all over my floors. I will never let these guys back in my house because every time they try to fix my floors they end up making things worse. I also have sealer marks on my windows and walls. I paid good money for these floors and now I have to figure out what to do to get them fixed, or replaced. Which entails moving all my furniture into storage again for a forth time. Most stressful disaster for me and my family. My only hope is that someone who reads this, and sees these photos can make a smart educated decision on what company to usewhen making a big decision like this. read more

If you are looking for an outstanding, trustworthy, efficient and flexible flooring removal company, look no further! I had one of the hardest to remove hardwood flooring that needed to be gone in a few days, and they did it so beautifully. Jose was very responsive, relied to messages and phone calls promptly. The team is very professional, well-equipped and they were always on time. After the project started, we discovered that the amount of work far exceeded what we all anticipated. We found nails and staples, strong adhesive and multiple layers of plywood glued to the hardwood floor. Strippers and machines won't do anything because of the adhesive and nails. It all came down to manpower. I was worried that they would just leave or ask for more money. But Jose stuck to his words and they finished the whole project gracefully. It was actually during the New Year holidays as well, they were all amazing. Their popularity on yelp is there for a reason. Well, based on my own experience, they are a successful business for many reasons. They made it happen. read more

After remodeling our pool my husband and I decided that the pool decking was in desperate need of a face lift. We checked out Yelp to see if there was any concrete stainers out there and found OC Concrete Stain. Jose came out quickly to give me a bid and let me know what my options were. He recommended concrete stamping and stain. I wasn't really sure what that was until he showed me pictures, and immediately I fell in love with the concept. Most of the pictures Jose had were of decks that were more earthier tones. I had some concerns about that since my husband and I wanted more darker colors (grey/dark blue) since that's what colors we had used for our pool remodel. Jose reassured me that he could make what I envisioned happen, and told me that he would have a sample for me before starting the staining process. After meeting Jose, I felt confident with using OC Concrete for our pool deck remodel. The project only took 3 days. Jose and his guys showed up every day on time and were extremely professional. They even went above and beyond by removing a fence that was around our pool and also fixing some concrete that was to the side of our home. The day before the staining procress Jose had some samples for us to approve and it was exactly what we wanted. Our deck looks fantastic. My husband and I were very pleased with the quality of their work and are excited about spending those warm days around our pool and new deck. I would definitely recommend their company to anyone who's looking for any type of concrete resurfacing. Thank You! read more

I had a previous job done on my driveway about a year ago by another company and with all the rain this year, I started having all kind of problems with the paint peeling off and I knew I had to redo the whole work. I started calling people to figure what needs to be done and luckily I stumbled into Jose. This guy is professional and knows exactly what needs to be done. The day after I gave him the job, he sent a crew to sand down all my driveway and that took a whole day. Couple days after, he cane with his crew and started staining my 1k sft driveway. He spent about a day and a half and did an excellent job! He was helpful in accommodating my needs with changing the color mixes to come up with a happy outcome that's satisfying to my wife and I. We scheduled for a quote with Jose this morning at 9:00 am. I looked at the front door at 8:58 after getting out of the shower and no one was there. I preceded to wait another 30 minutes before my girlfriend tried contacting Jose. He responded by saying he arrived at 8:45 am and decided to leave when no one answered the door at 8:59. Note, again, that the appointment wasn't scheduled until 9:00 and Jose admitted to leaving BEFORE the scheduled time. He also wasn't there at 8:59 as he said he was as I was looking right out through the front door to the street. When my girlfriend left an initial Yelp review earlier today complaining about Jose's unprofessionalism, he texted her and threatened to sue her for false statements. His unprofessionalism has now been trumped by his efforts to bully us with a frivolous lawsuit. I will never do business with this company after this. read more
