Dave was amazing. He was prompt with his reply and thorough with the requirements for prep. Dave made an effort to schedule me ASAP as I had a terrible experience with another company. Professional and easy to speak to, I highly recommend this company. read more

3/5 stars for communication: Called West Coast Hot Mop for a standing 3x5 shower. Tommy was responsive and gave a quote on the spot. He seemed very professional. Communication thereafter with other members was not as streamline. I got group message texts from Dave and Elija- who didn't introduce their roles to me (was not sure who was who- is one the scheduler/is one a contractor?- retrospectively it seems Dave is the scheduler and Elija is another team member who coordinates the actual worker who's coming to do the hot mop- as you can see all very confusing with so many personnel). Tommy had not mentioned that other team members would be reaching out to me. Dave's scheduling was a bit hectic too- confirmed with me for a 11:30 appointment the day prior to service and then 2 hours later said nothing but "hot mop service 7Am tomorrow". I had to clarify that we were rescheduling to an earlier time. Tommy would send separate texts to me too to make sure that I got my appointment- which is great of him to take care of his customers but perhaps he should be included in the group message too as to minimize simple redundancies. Communication on the team's side can use significant improvement- it felt rather unprofessional. 5/5 Hot mop service: Their worker Alonso came on time and gave me a 15 minute heads up as requested. Their timeliness is much appreciated especially for such an early job at 7Am. My contractors approved their work as well. Looks good thus far. Hopefully this will hold up for years to come. Called around for this service and their price was fair and competitive too. read more

Can't say enough great things about this company and my experience working with them! Tommy and his team were extremely responsive, respectful, and detail oriented. They also have the best rates in town so it's nice knowing they still provide top notch service even though they are the most affordable. Tommy is an all star and I will continue to recommend this company to my network because this is the type of local business I love to support! A++ read more

Trying to deal with Dave from this company seemed to be okay at first, but his lack of communication and professionalism blew my mind! How do you schedule a job and not show up and don't even saying anything. After the job was complete you didn't say anything, and when asked about pics you got very angry! With technology in this day and age communication, pics and updates should be no problem. Professionalism goes a long way, I think you need re-adjust your attitude when dealing with customers! read more

Excellent excellent excellent customer services! Can't stress enough how Leroy and Heather kept me informed throughout the process. From getting a quote on yelp to scheduling via text and calls to receiving the receipt via email, Leroy and Heather were very knowledgeable, responsive and patient. I am remodeling my bathroom, and it's stressful to manage the project with the tiling guys, the plumber, the general contractor, etc. West Coast was the only part of the project that I didn't have to worry about. I will definitly use them again! read more

I had a new shower that needed a hot mop I called West Coast Hot Mop to get a quote and set up an appointment. To my surprise, they were not only very competitive with their pricing but also able to accommodate me on the same day. Wow, what customer service! A young man showed up that looked like a teenager. Truthfully, I was a bit worried at first but couldn't have been more wrong. This young man by the name of Jesus was as professional as they get. He worked fast and diligently. I wish all my construction guys worked like this. Seriously. If ever a friend needs a referral, this is the place. Look no further than West Coast Hot Mop. Thanks for the great job! read more

I called WC HOT MOP at 8.30am and they showed up at 9.40 am. They communicate and executed well. I hired West Coast Hot Mop to come hot mop our shower today. I called earlier this week to inquire about their pricing and services. I was impressed by how friendly and helpful Leroy was on the phone. He even texted me pictures of what the shower blocking and bench should look like after our conversation. I received a quote of $300 for our shower size with a bench. I got a quote from DK Hot Mops too and it was $25 less but I didn't feel they were as friendly and their reviews on Yelp weren't as good. I felt it was worth the extra $25 to hire West Coast. I texted yesterday afternoon saying I was finished with the blocking and bench construction and was told they had an opening the next day. I texted a picture of the shower blocking and bench to Leroy to make sure it was ok. He said "Looks Great." I was given a time frame of 11:30-1:30 of arrival for the guys. I was called around 11 and was told they would arrive at 11:45. The were there right on time. They spent about 1.5 hours working on the hot mop. The whole time they were friendly and talkative. They cheerfully told me about the process and what to expect. They even installed a free drain plug for me so I could do the water test later. They were clean too and kept my house and pathway to the bathroom free of mess. So happy I called West Coast and would definitely call them again for our next hot mop project. read more

This company is fast and reliable, I called them on Monday and they get the job done on the Tuesday morning, I especially like the worker who did the job, he doesn't want the smell get all over the house, so he closed the door and leave himself in there working while the smoke is all over the restroom he's working on. When I noticed this, he has already been working on this condition for a while, I opened the restroom door for him and the garage door next to this restroom and put two fans to let the air flow out. I can tell this company values it's customers, they trained their worker very well, I gave this company 5 stars and I would give the worker they sent us for 10 stars. To the company owner: please continue on the good service that you provide and let workers equip a protection mask so they can do a better service ! read more

As a tile contractor I have used many different hot mop companies for shower pan waterproofing. To date I have used West Coast Hot Mop 4 times. Each time they showed up on time and did a great job. Leroy took great care in making sure that he schedule the shower hot mop for my project. He contacted me several times for the scheduling, once to see if he could get the technician in a day sooner. The hop mop technician did a great job. He was very nice, and clean too (of course he showered!). He laid plenty of tarps down to keep the path to the work area clean. Great job!! Showed up on time and knocked out the job quickly. Kept the site very clean for such a messy job.

Ditto to every other 5 star comment on yelp. This company rocks. Thank you to the team.

Prompt and clean...great worker. Came out within two days of our first inquiry. We would use this company again!

If you are desperate enough to have West Coast Hot Mop provide their service, be sure to open all the windows and get plenty of fans to ventilate the work site. They set the smoke detector off and filled my whole house up with smoke. It was only after the fact that they started opening windows. We had to wash every article of clothing we had twice so they didn't smell like tar. After confronting Dave over the phone about this unprofessional practice, he fought back his temper and told me that I wasn't in the industry. He must have meant I clearly don't know what I'm talking about. Box fans are $18 at Walmart, Dave. On top of everything, the crew didn't slope the pan properly, so I got the pleasure of dealing with them twice. Thanks for the chore of scraping dozens of tar spots off my tile floor. read more

Great job!! Arrived at the appointed time, even with the accident and massive traffic jam on the I-15. The young man set straight to work, was very polite and actually cheerful. He took every precaution trying to keep the hot tar odor contained in the small bathroom, but obviously the man had to breathe so we decided a fan directed at the window and open door behind the fan would create good airflow. Hot mop done in very good time, considering his use of 3 buckets worth of tar, there is very good coverage. Small workspace was difficult but he didn't seem bothered. Fair price for work done. All in all an excellent experience. I would gladly recommend West Coast Hot Mop! read more

Let me start off by saying that my master bath remodel has been a HUGE nightmare. Companies not showing up on schedule, weeks and weeks of delays. I called west coast and spoke to Heather. She was extremely helpful, scheduled me in 2 days. I Was given a 9-11 window. I was called at 9;30 to let me know the guy was running a little behind from the job ahead of mine. He showed up at 11:30. Did a great job and cleaned up after himself. Thank you!!!
