We had Professional Drainage Experts design and install a drainage system to protect our home from water intrusion, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the beginning, Foster was responsive, professional, and incredibly patient. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate our property, answered every question we had, and provided a detailed plan that gave us complete confidence in moving forward. Once the project began, Julio and his crew were exceptional. Julio was on site every day, kept us informed throughout the process, and his attention to detail was second to none. Early in the project, he even identified a previously unknown leak on our property that could have easily gone unnoticed and made sure it was addressed. What stood out most was the level of care the entire team put into their work. They weren't just completing a project. They were making sure it was done correctly and built to protect our home for years to come. Thank you to Shanese, Foster, Julio, and the entire team at Professional Drainage Experts. We couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend them without hesitation. read more

Just not good. Took 2 weeks of broken promises to get an appointment. Which they eventually gave me a date and time and I accepted, only to be followed by another message from them that their phantom scheduling manager would confirm - huh? Which of course that never happened. At which point I'd already taken the day off work and waited for them to arrive at 8AM which never happened. I get they said it was because they were very busy but at least set my expectations of that - don't promise I'll be contacted to arrange a time multiple times, give me a time, not show up and then tell me you're booked for several more weeks. Just really poor communication and I'm glad this happened now rather than if I needed something from them after they did work. read more

I just had Inspection with them today, not my first time with them, but I'm finally writing a review because they truly made a difference. It's rare to find a company that combines professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine client care this well, I am a solicited agent once through a lot of companies who didn't follow up with what they preached. They were on time, highly knowledgeable, and communicated everything with clarity and intention. Most importantly, they gave my clients peace of mind--which is invaluable in this process. I would confidently recommend them. Thank you I'm looking forward to using them soon. read more

From the estimate process all the way through to the last touches, I am happy to say I now have a drainage company that I know and can trust! Their estimator, Foster, was alongside me throughout the job process with any questions or concerns that I had. Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. All in all, having my work done by Professional Drainage Experts was a very positive experience and I give a hearty recommendation to them! read more

Professional Drainage Experts were awesome to work with! Foster was on time for our initial property assessment and showed us two options that worked within our budget. He walked around the property and broke down the different drainage solutions while answering our questions. He made it easy for us to understand each option. We did get quotes from other vendors but ultimately chose Professional Drainage Experts based on the customer service and willingness to work to find a solution for our property that was in budget. We were able to get a full system added to the property in 3.5 days. Julio and his team were great! They were promptly on time each morning. Cleaned up after themselves. Even hosed down the driveway, stucco, and walkways afterwards. After everything was installed, Julio walked us around the property and explained all of the elements of our new system. For what feels like a draining home project as a first time home buyer, Foster and Julio made the process feel less daunting and stressful. Highly recommend. 10/10 read more

Had an appointment confirmed over the phone and also a text but two days later they didn't show up. Didn't call me to say they were running late or even to reschedule. We went with a bid from another company. read more

They did an amazing job, great team, Forman was very responsive. Very professional! Definitely highly recommended!

This company did a great job under my house w repairing 8 supports/ metal supports and cleaned up under the house. Some supports didn't even touch the ground, they fixed the issues. They guys were professional and worked hard. Communication was smooth. read more

They did a good job on my gutters and drain. I needed a trench drain that went across my garage, under a walkway and out towards the street. Unfortunately they weren't able to go under the sidewalk since it was too thick, but put in a bubbler in a spot that sent water over the sidewalk into a storm drain. What a relief getting rid of sandbags across my garage just before the Christmas rainstorm! Only problem is that when I finally turned on the irrigation system, the drip hoses had been cut in 3 places. read more

I never imagined I'd be writing a recommendation for a drainage company, but I'm so impressed with Professional Drainage Experts that I had to. A few years ago, we had a leak in our laundry room in our hillside home. Their team came up with a clever solution to reroute the water from the top of the house. It wasn't cheap, but it was far more affordable than any of the more complex alternatives--and for three years, through every rainy season, we had no issues. This year, we noticed some minor leaking in the same area. I reached out to the company around 6 PM on a rainy day, and they immediately texted me back, troubleshooting in real time. That same evening, they sent someone out, who quickly diagnosed the issue: the system was completely clogged and just needed cleaning. Thankful that's all it was! And that they could come out and unclog the system the same day. I can't say enough good things about their service, their responsiveness, and their ingenuity. If you need drainage solutions, I highly highly recommend them. read more

Shanese from Professional drainage came to inspect our drains to make sure everything was flowing the way it should. She said everything looked good and said our gutters just needed a good cleaning. From all the videos on Instagram my husband and I have learned a lot. My husband realized during our last rain fall we had a leak where our gutters ran which could possibly ruin the sides of our house. So he cleaned our gutters. And got rid of years of build up. Thank you Shanese and Professional Drainage for posting educational videos for all home owners! read more

Professional Drainage Experts - Irrigation Near Me - Garden Grove, California

They did a good job. Prices are maybe slightly high but overall it seems worth the cost.

We have a hillside house and had some serious drainage issues. We are so glad we hired Professional Drainage Solutions. Brett was great and was very patient and happy to answer all of our questions. He presented multiple solutions with detailed quotes and was not pushy in the slightest. We opted for fairly major work: french drain, waterproofing membrane, new surface drains, concrete v-swale with large basin, connections to our gutter downspouts, tons of piping, etc. Adam was our foreman and he was great. He was interested to hear more about our issues and suggested another surface drain that ended up being crucially important. The entire team dug the trenches very fast and they were super careful not to cut our internet line, sprinklers, or anything else that was in the way. The workmanship was A+ and we are very happy with the final result. The only thing that could have been improved was that the project took longer than expected to complete. What really sets this experience over the top is that a couple months after completion of the project, we discovered that we misdiagnosed where one source of the downhill water was coming from. There was a drain from a neighbor that was broken underground in the easement on my property. Adam came out for 3 days to diagnose this issue and implement an elegant solution. That's great customer service to come out and ensure that the solution they built stands the test of time. read more

Had water instrusion issues with raised foundation. End up going with Professional Drainage Experts to install French drains. Very professional, great crew, great communication. Left the work area cleaner than I had left it. read more

Very difficult to get a hold of these guys. Last year I contacted them for drain system installation, took them a few months to do "inspection" and give me a quote. They dont offer professiinal drawing that many high level HOAs need. And their price was also way higher than other quotes that I received. I ended up doing drain installation and paving of the entire side yard and back yard with the same price that this company quoted me for. I would not recommend and definjtely would look into landscape companies to do the same type of work and beyond at that price... read more

Part of the job - sealing a leak in a below ground garage was fixed. The leaking seems to have stopped. They explained well what they would do and how their technique would help in my situation. However, they were not successful in the other part of my garage. They came out a couple times trying to fix it, but it did not work. They blamed it on run off water from another source that has also been addressed. The leak they were supposed to fix is still leaking and now they stopped returning my calls and emails. read more

Pleasure to work with this company. They fixed some extensive drainage problems involving rain pouring off the roof on nearly every side of my house and running under the foundation. Several gutters, downspouts, catch basins, underground drainage pipes. Good, honest, skilled and knowledgeable people from the estimator, to the office staff, to the work team. They worked around my schedule, got the job done promptly and well. Work team took extra care to leave the work area looking better than it did before (replacing gravel and rocks, plants, etc). Everything was explained, my concerns and questions were taken seriously and into account. Members of the work team treated each other, and me, with respect and friendliness. Drainage problems solved. Would definitely use this company again, and highly recommend to others. read more

Trust Brett on his recommendation. It's important to keep the water away from the foundation. We waited too long to take care of it and wish we would have done it sooner. They did a great job just before the rain season comes. We would recommend them to anyone. read more

Professional Drainage Experts delivered on the promises they made. Working with Brett, Tommy and Julio was a positive experience. We've had experience with contractors who make promises they can't keep and throw in excessive change orders. We did not experience that with this company. They were professional, thorough and detail oriented during what turned into a 2 week project with included massive excavation that extended the entire length of our lot. Once the project commenced, Julio and Tommy were a responsive team. They were easy to communicate with, helped us navigate challenges, problem solve and make decisions as issues arose (as they will, it's construction). But all in all we're very glad we found a professional company to work with to solve the serious drainage issues on our property. read more

Julio and his crew did an excellent, amazing job on an extensive project replacing the drainage system for our hillside home. Our central AC had to be disconnected to accommodate the work, and when it became apparent the job was going to take longer than expected, the project manager Daniel had his crew come out on Saturday so we wouldn't have to suffer an extra day without AC. The finished product looks amazing and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully. read more

Scheduled an inspection with this company, hoping that they can help me to resolve a drainage issue. Did not get any response from them after the inspection. We had some major drainage issues at our home caused primarily by years of invasive tree roots. We called Professional Drainage Experts because of all the great reviews they had on yelp. We sure weren't disappointed. They were very responsive to our call. Tommy came out to see our issues. Recommended both french and surface drains. Then Julio and his crew got to work, carefully digging trenches around our home, all by hand! They are really experts at what they do, hard working, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were involved every step of the way and satisfied. They were on site early every morning and left our yard clean every afternoon and were always very professional. Their project management is excellent, materials and trucks always here just when needed. I highly recommend this company, worth every penny. read more

We were looking for a drainage solution at the side of our home that sits on a hill. After initial consult with Brett, the owner, we were able to start right away before they started a bigger job. Julio Martinez, field supervisor, and his crew were exceptional at creating a drainage design unique to our property. Shout out to filipe and Jose, and the rest of the crew, you not only fixed the problem but created value to our home on the hill. Very reasonably priced and great to work with. read more

Go with the pros. We just had to redo much of a very expensive drainage system that was not done correctly. Professional Drainage Experts came in and they were able to make drastic improvements, beyond what we were expecting. They really are what their name says they are -- professional drainage experts. One of their lead experts, Julio, is a genius, with expertise beyond just drainage too. Recommended if you want things done right. read more

They showed up on time and seemed reasonable. Unfortunately their solution was about 40k more than the next quote of about 3k total (45k vs 3k). I'll say this though, their plan was a massive project including new concrete, wells, drainage pumps, etc. Realistically it was significant overkill for what is needed and I'm sure it would have worked great. We had another company come out and they're just going to relocate the gutter downspout to divert the water, compared to Professional Drainage Experts who planned on re-grading the entire property (demolition of the entire backyard, trees, etc) which sounds great but unnecessary by a mile. read more

It is challenging to find a company dedicated to solving drainage and water issues but Professional Drainage Experts tackled our project with efficiency and skill. I had previously reached out to them while assessing a patio build a year ago but never got the project off the ground. With the patio now in place, we needed a way to move the water that would be coming off the gutters away from the backyard so it would not damage the concrete slab as well as moving water away from the sides of the house that were just pooling during heavy rains. Our project required trenching and concrete work but the team was able to complete everything in just about a week. Everyone who worked on our project was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. They took care of our existing irrigation so nothing was damaged beyond simple patches. Highly recommend reaching out to have them assess your property! read more

Sent a request for a quote through Yelp. I then receive a cryptic message on Yelp stating they can't help at this time. I then call the business and was told, "That was weird" the lady then stated she would tell someone to call me. I then get another message about 2 minutes later on Yelp, basically stating that they do not do 3-story homes. Seriously? What kind of drainage experts don't own a 32-foot ladder to help out the whole community that is over 2 stories? Well, they are out of my business and my friends/ family business as well. read more

Wow. What an honest and all around great company. I worked with Brett who was such a pleasure. He was extremely kind and patient. He walked me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable with my decision. Far too often you get people that try to take advantage of a situation and trust me, I had multiple quotes that were trying to do just that. These people are kind, they're experts, and who aren't going to rip you off. Simple as that. I already have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends. It's truly hard to find companies like this still out there. I'm sure glad I did! Thanks Brett! read more

For years we had significant outdoor flooding at our residence every time it rained. We finally decided to pursue a permanent solution. After research, we hired Professional Drainage Experts. Our experience with them was top notch, from the first telephone contact to the last day of our project. We are very happy with our new drainage system, and highly recommend this company. All of our boxes were checked - 1. Communication - The owner of the company, Shanese, was accessible via phone and email, to field my many questions. She was clear in her communications, making it easy for me to know what to expect. 2. Professionalism - The crew that did the work was friendly, courteous, cleaned up well, was always on time, and didn't destroy any of our property. Special commendation to Julio, the supervisor. He explained everything clearly, made excellent recommendations, and was generally very pleasant to work with. 3. Aesthetics - the installation of our drainage channels involved some hardscape demolition and reconstruction. The end product looks clean. The new drainage grates look fine, they don't stick out like a sore thumb. 4. System Function - bottom line - the system works. We were fortunate to have a heavy rain immediately after installation. It was amazing to not sustain flooding, to not have the burden of worrying about it. We're looking forward to the next rains! A warranty is provided, and I am confident they will stand by their work. If drainage issues pop up in the future - we will call Professional Drainage Experts again. read more

Of 5 companies who came out to solve my water flooding on the side of our duplex, Brett & PDE gave me a solution that made sense & was expensive, yet reasonable. Next, their crew headed by Kendrick was respectful & considerate - working quietly in the early mornings so as to not disturb me or my neighbors. They were also skillful at their craft. Just watching them work each day, I realized how much engineering talent they put into making a drainage system that works! Kendrick was great - patient to answer my questions, always happy to show me the progress, did a walk-through on the last day & did a demonstration to show the water going down the furthest drain through the long pipes & into the driveway. They ended on time, left the place cleaner than before. Now I'm looking forward to see how things hold up. But overall, I would definitely use them again & they are a women-owned & minority-operated business. I guess it takes a woman to take construction to the next level where kindness & consideration can be combined with talent & skills in a male-dominated industry like construction. Nice! read more

I made the MISTAKE OF HIRING these guys and even though they may do decent work and their work crews are efficient, their MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE. Toward the end of the job, I asked for a quote on something that I believed was initially going to be included in the service. When I received the quote from BRETT, I asked him TO CALL ME TO DISCUSS IT and listed the items I was being charged for twice. HIS RESPONSE: DO NOT SPAM ME. I called the office to try to get ahold of someone else, but good luck trying to get someone who actually works for them. You will always, only, get their answering service. YOU'LL NEVER GET AHOLD OF ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY WORKS FOR THEM. The guys they hire do a great job, but they are not the ones who run the company. And they're not the ones you'll be negotiating anything with. read more
