We had a great experience with Carpet Depot! Hamid was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and never made us feel pressured. His pricing was very competitive, the carpet quality exceeded our expectations, and the installation crew was professional, punctual, and left everything clean. The entire process was smooth and well organized. We're very happy with the results and would definitely use Carpet Depot again! read more

Just had Hamid, at Carpet Depot, install new Berber carpets in our 3 bedrooms. I have used Hamid in the past, and this time was no different, fair pricing and great customer service! read more

Sergio is great installer. Hamid was sales rep who is very responsive and will come out and measure any time. Only issue is he seemed offended when you would question prices or want an explanation for prices. Great carpet and quick install. Good company. Response to reply: The owners response is not true. I was actually not given a discount, I was given a higher rate than the rate I paid for a job I had done earlier that SAME week because of "the economy" and a brand new rule that must have just been put in to effect within the few days. Rather than argue, I will post the exact conversation screenshots so those viewing my review can decide for themselves about the company and way they communicate business. See below photos read more

Our carpet installation experience began with Hamid, who we called, because Home Depot was unable to start on any carpeting projects for us until past June, which was an issue since my husband and I were expecting a baby in June, and we needed to prepare our home for the baby's arrival. I called Carpet Depot on a Sunday morning, and Hamid took our call. We expressed our need to get carpeting done before the end of May, and we needed someone to come out and measure our home, get a quote, and hopefully, order materials and get it installed. He informed us that he can show up that Sunday afternoon and measure our home, give us a quote, and he explained that, depending on the carpeting material we choose, turn around time may take a week or two to get the carpet materials. I was pleased to hear he offered to come out that same day. Afternoon came, he was ready with samples, and while my husband and I picked the carpet material we wanted, he measured our space. He wasted no time. It probably took him about 15 minutes, we gave him our chosen carpet sample that was good for baby/kids and future pets, and he gave us a quote. Because we had decided to simply pay up front and not have to finance the carpet installation, he offered to add a thicker layer to the underside of the carpet to make it softer for a crawling baby--we were thrilled! A day later, he called (as he said he would) and informed us that they can get the carpet installed a week later. We picked an open date, and a week later, we had the carpet installers arrive at our door right at our 8am appointment, and the carpet in two rooms, a hallway, and a flight of stairs were installed by 1pm. The installers were polite and kind, and they left our home nice and clean afterwards, taking our old carpet with them! I mean, the pictures alone will tell you how nice and smooth of a job they did for our floors. We will definitely recommend them to our family who may need carpeting done in the future. No fuss, no issues, no empty promises... just good, professional business! Thank you, Carpet Depot! read more

Hamid came to our house and sold us on 200sf of carpet in our bedroom. We put down a $300 deposit and were told they could fit us on the schedule within 3-4 days. We explained to him that due to construction it would take a little time for us to call and ask to be put on their schedule (this was on June 30th. We called today (July 7) and they informed us they would not be able to install our carpet until July 14th. So, we now have to spend an extra 8 days sleeping in our living room as we wait for carpet to be installed in our bedroom. I would not recommend using this company if your project is time sensitive. Also, don't expect them to stick to the time frame they tell you at time of sale. Update: Josh called me within 10 minutes after posting my review informing me he was canceling my order and to find the the carpet elsewhere. He claimed that due to the July 4th weekend they were unable to have anything ship which backed them up and was the cause for the significant delay in the install. So now we have to find another company to do the work Carpet Depot promised to do. Please be careful with what you say in your review as it may cause you to lose your order even if you have already been waiting. Update after Josh's Yelp response: to clarify, I never asked for a refund. Josh told me he was canceling my order and to find it elsewhere. To which I responded with "okay" as I was not going to argue with him. During our conversation I made a statement saying we had already put down a $300 non refundable deposit which sparked the his aggravation with me. He said., " no it is refundable. In fact, I am canceling your order and you can find it elsewhere." read more

There are a ton of awesome reviews that I wish I was a contributor to. Unfortunately, in my case, the experience was unfortunate. An update: after only 2 weeks, I have hardwood sections I've had to attend to as well as edging in carpet not set properly that has also needed attention. To assure those areas are secure, I'm reaching out to another carpet store as I'm uncomfortable returning to the Carpet Depot. read more

Nice small shop on Harbor Blvd. Park right in front! Josh is very nice and instantly knew what to show me and gave expert advice. Get this - installed the next morning! Less than 24 hours from purchasing. Great installers. Highly recommend. read more

Amazing service, great price, great team work. Carpet looks brand new . Was able to come the next day .

I truly do not have enough great things to say about Josh and his store. I'll admit, I'm skeptical of any place in a strip mall near 19th and Harbor, but hallelujah that we went in! We had been to Home Depot earlier that week and the only carpet we were semi-interested wouldn't get here for three-ish weeks. Not ideal when we were planning to buy a house in 9 days and wanted carpet installed before we moved all our stuff in. In we go to Josh's store. That man is knowledgeable, friendly, and sharp. I gave him three details I was looking for in carpet and within 10 seconds he already had five samples pulled out of beautiful carpet. We talked to him for 15 minutes and by the end, had purchased carpet for our two bedrooms at a better price than Home Depot and he said he could get it in within 6 days. And he did! Don't waste your time anywhere else--go to Carpet Depot first!! read more

Below are a few things I personally did not like about this place. I'll keep it brief and as subjective as possible: - shop seed a bit cluttered - never heard of "green label" for carpet Things I liked: - cost effective - knowledgeable We went with a different local provider for carpet. read more

So, I got in a huge fight with my slumlord re: replacing the disgusting carpet in the apartment I have lived in for over five years with 4 different roommates and a number of different dogs. New roommate was a nice, clean, dog-free individual who DESERVED CLEAN CARPET. So I was on the hunt. Knowing absolutely nothing about carpet except that my landlord gave me a loose budget of cheap f-ing carpet, I went into a few places but most of the carpet seemed either really expensive or really ugly and tackey etc. However, Carpet Depot was totally fab. Owner helped me himself. Great selection. Won't try and scam you. Carpet looks awesome. Fast install. I accidentally did not order enough and they put a seem in the closet but you can't tell at all and my new roommate's room looked great. Strict about the delivery times, but I got caught in a meeting at work and was running late and the delivery guy was totally cool. I still have nasty carpet in my own bedroom --- maybe one day I'll be able to convince my landlord to replace it and I will def be using Carpet Depot at that time. read more

The only place for carpet & service in Orange County!! Josh is fantastic and all the reviews on him are true, that's how I found him. I found him after being disappointed at Carpet Land on Placentia, in Costa Mesa, who was more interested in over selling carpet yardage. Josh came to the house & measured personally and guaranteed my carpet install would be perfect, done by professionals. All of it is true! The price was better, the install looks like real steps in my house. Installers were kind, on time and hard workers that clean as they go. I will refer CARPET DEPOT to all looking for carpet! read more

Josh was wonderful to work with from start to finish, the installation went seamlessly and we are very happy with our new carpet. Thanks guys ! read more

From the first call with Hamid to carpet install - great experience all the way through. Hamid was gracious enough to come to our home the very afternoon we called. We're extremely happy with the end result. Looking forward to using them again! read more

Called this place today for a carpet estimate and the were kind of rude. They said they dont give carpet prices over the phone. You have to go into their location. So, are you going to see what I look like first and then decide what you are going to charge me? Seems shady, next! read more

Josh's two installers just left my home and now I know why his company has a 5 star rating. My wife and I stopped by his shop, don't worry about the small feeling, Josh has all the top brands. It was about 4:00 on a Tuesday and we asked when he could come by with samples and an estimate, he said "how about now"! Within an hour we placed our order selected the install date, today, and off he went. The installers were true professionals, they took time to move the furniture, no dings, and replace after the install. Thanks again for the beautiful job! read more

We had a great experience with Carpet Depot. Josh was very helpful. I had visited the store before with my daughter who was equally pleased. Good prices and great selection. We recently bought a small winter condo in Laguna Woods and were on a tight timeline. I called several of the carpeting companies that had been referred as possible options and spoke with Hamid, about 3 weeks before we flew to Orange County to set up our new home. He was very personable and helpful over the phone and I told him I would contact him once we were in the area. We arrived and met him a few days later. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and was honest about carpeting quality and the different brands he carried. He was able to beat Home Depot prices and assured me that my carpeting could be installed the following week. As promised, it arrived a week later and was installed by Sergio and his son, both very capable, hard working, and friendly...and both wore masks the entire time due to covid. I highly recommend this company for carpeting in Orange County! read more

My husband and I were selling a condo and needed new carpet installed since the existing carpet was terrible. Josh helped us out and our experience couldn't have been better. When picking out a carpet, I told him that I wanted something inexpensive because we just needed something that would show nicely. I chose one of the least expensive options and did not feel at all like he was trying to upsell and talk me into spending a bit more money(which I appreciated). Installation was easy and done within a few hours. From start to finish, Carpet Depot came through with zero hassles. Highly recommend. read more
