I am so impressed with Michael's Carpet on Adams in Huntington Beach. I called them on Monday, and they were incredibly quick to assist. Austin met me at the property with carpet samples, which made the process so much easier. They also have a virtual app online that allowed me to see how the room would look with different carpet colors, which was such a helpful tool when making a decision. I was able to go into the showroom, discuss the color options, choose the carpet, and set the installation time for Tuesday evening at 4:00 PM. The installer arrived right on time at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning and was finished by 2:00 PM that same day. I was especially impressed with Lupe, the installer. He did a wonderful job, vacuumed the room, and completely cleaned up after himself. The whole experience was fast, professional, and easy from start to finish. I love supporting local Huntington Beach businesses, and Michael's Carpet truly delivered. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I recently had half our house re-carpeted. Michael's has competitive pricing, reliable installation and left the house in better condition than when they started. We were so satisfied with the job that we are hiring them back to install hardwood in the other half of the house! They are a family-owned business and any time we came in, we were either working with the dad or one of the sons. They are all awesome! read more

From start to finish, Mike and his crew are the utmost in professionalism and workmanship. Started off with a visit to Michael's Carpet and told them I would be renting out my mom's house. They told me what they usually use for rental carpeting and had a rep come by the house for measurements and a written estimate. We then scheduled an install date and the workers showed up on time and did a fantastic job as well as hauling away the old carpet. A job well done and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for new carpet. read more

The entire process with Michael's was easy and professional. We needed new carpet in our master bedroom, since the prior carpet (installed by Home Depot several years ago) was horrible. The staff at the Michael's store were helpful, and not pushy, and they had many options to look at. The price was fair. The measurement and the installation were well done, and I appreciated their help in moving two dressers. We love the carpet. I would recommend Michael's to anyone needing carpet or flooring. read more

We've trusted Michael's Carpets for two generations now, and they never disappoint. The whole team is so kind and helpful every single time. Adam especially is wonderful -- fantastic customer service and always takes the time to make sure everything is just right. We wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Once again perfection! We have used Michael's Carpet's before for new wood flooring on the entire second floor of our daughters' home. We got three quotes and I felt the most confident in Michael's Carpets and pricing was fair. The sales and installation crew was amazing. Fast forward a couple years and our home flooded from a burst hose. This time I didn't even bother getting other quotes because I completely trusted them because they have been in Huntington Beach forever. We replaced the downstairs carpeting in the living room and dining room with waterproof vinyl that looks like wood and it is gorgeous. We also re-carpeted the upstairs bedrooms, stairs and hallway. There were two separate crews for each, and both of them did an excellent job. The stairs were done with a rounded edge that made our stairs look so much nicer. Thank you Michael's Carpets for your outstanding sales and installation people! read more

Top notch sales/measure and install! This a wonderful family owned business and they are exceptional. Knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with; carpet samples were easy to check out, they helped us figure out the right pad/carpet for our situation. Ordering was easy, deposit was nominal and they were able to install within about 3 weeks of decision/order arrival. The install process was and they cleaned up after, too! We would not hesitate to use them again. We had a low-pile patterned synthetic Berber installed - about 900sf. read more

The best craftsmanship and ethics I have seen (and I have hired many contractors over the years of being a homeowner). I needed a floor damage repair / hardwood plank replacement and Mike accommodated me quickly. The crew was professional, attentive, pleasant, skillful, and just overall felt so good to work with. They quickly turned around my stressful situation into peace and ease. I hired Michael's carpets 12 years ago for hardwood floor installation and carpet in the bedrooms. The best experience! And they did it again! Also, over the years I called the shop a few times with questions about my floor, and every time they have been so attentive and helpful. This is not the type of contractor who avoids the responsibility or disappears forever after they did your job. These guys are the best! Hire them for all your flooring needs - because I honestly haven't met anyone who takes pride in their work as much as this company. Thank you Mike and crew! You guys are amazing. read more

Hands down best in the business. Love that Michaels Carpet is a family owned and run business. All the guys are super friendly, and very knowledgable. From picking out the type of carpet, to the installation, everyone was beyond helpful & professional. We were concerned with the short time frame we had before moving in to our new home, and they got the job done seamlessly and on time. All of the rooms look beautiful thanks to the new carpet! Couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Fantastic Experience! Look no longer - use this company. From beginning to end, my experience was outstanding. I walked in uncertain of what direction I wanted to go for bedroom carpet. Ray and his wife patiently walked me through my options and showed me a variety of colors and styles. We narrowed it down to a few and they graciously allowed me to take some samples home to get a better feel for the light and space. Carpet installation was seamless and smooth. I am absolutely thrilled with the look and how each room turned out. It is beautiful! Again, I walked in confused and clueless - they could not have done more to help me get exactly what I hoped for. Thank you Ray & Michael's Carpet! read more

12 years later and I needed the entire upstairs and staircase done again. I didn't hesitate using Michael's again. About 8-9 years ago, nearly 3 years after being installed, we noticed that the carpets were fading in differently in two different areas. Fading is natural but it looked like we got two different lots during installation. It wasn't bad enough to rip out all of the carpet but Michael came out and had the manufacturer provide a huge refund. When it came time to upgrade again, we knew who to call. This time we installed hardwood in the master suite and hallway, and recarpeted the bedrooms and stairs. Michael and his sons, both as nice as their dad, were great to deal with. We took tons of samples home and waited weeks to decide what we preferred. Price was competitive and the installation went without a hitch. We love the new look and are happy we took care of these guys after they showed us great customer service. read more

Great service, quality and value. Installation crew were courteous and cleaned up! Would use them again

My go to flooring store in Costa Mesa went out of business two years ago. I have since found Michael's carpets to be very fair, reliable with a quality selection that doesn't break the budget. I have worked with them on a couple of different properties and they are equally good on carpet and vinyl plank. You won't be disappointed. read more

Needed new carpet for the master bedroom, went to Michael's with a sample of the new laminate flooring in the adjacent bathroom and the staff there were super helpful as we considered Berber carpet. Have used them multiple times and they've done a great job each time. Most recently they did LVP on a new stair system an new carpet.

We had new flooring and carpet installed by Michaels in August and cannot recommend this place enough. They are thorough, professional and thoughtful. They stand behind their work and the floors are lovely. Don't be fooled by the small storefront - this is a quality operation and their costs are quite reasonable. We chose carpeting for the stairs and hallway and laminate wood flooring for the bedrooms and family room and are very happy with them. read more

Went in to look at new flooring with no expectations and was sold by the knowledge and ability to work with our construction schedule. They were highly recommended to me, and they exceeded my expectations. On my first visit, the owner explained the differences in LVP flooring and showed me a variety of samples. This is the second time we have purchased flooring from Michael's Carpets. We added hardwood floors in our living and dining room and carpet in our family. The hardwood floor was laid the day before Thanksgiving where we had 26 for dinner. The carpet was laid the day after Thanksgiving. Mike called during the process and followed up after the job. The crews were on time, polite and efficient. the floors look great. We highly recommend them and will continue to purchase all of our flooring from Michael's Carpets. read more

Great customer service. The finished job looks great. The installers were clean and careful while working on our residence.

This company has the best people young men that are working there they know their product they know what's gonna work. They have a great assortment of colors and it's just a pleasure doing business with them. It's hard to even find people like this anymore than the retail stores as a family operated business and their prices are competitive. I just can't rate them give them a higher rating and then what you have which should be a five or 10 so be sure stop by and take a look at the flooring both laminate and carpet . Just try to compare them with Depot/Lowes . There are a small store but don't let it fool you! read more

Great communication, always available to answer questions, competitive pricing, smooth installation and great flooring choices. What more do you need? Before making your choice on a flooring installer and before you choose your flooring give Michael's Carpet a visit. I did and I'm glad because the process was a breeze. I was originally working with another flooring contractor who said it was up to me to get the flooring and move the heavy furniture. Michael's does it all. We moved everything to a portable storage unit and they moved a few heavy pieces out, ordered the material and installed. What a relief to have it all under one roof! Brandon helped me with my final choice of LVP and Mauricio ran his amazing crew who carefully pulled out decades old pavers and transformed our home into a beautiful warm living space. read more

We recently decided to replace the carpet in our 3 upstairs bedrooms and to install wood floor instead of carpet for the landing area on top of the stairwell. Several friends recommended Michael's Carpet in Huntington Beach. We visited the store and Brayden took time to explain the various options and even encouraged us to take a sample home to match our downstair wood floor. The installation was scheduled quickly. It only took a day for the carpet and another for the wood floor. The installation crew moved all the furniture for us. We were very pleased with the material and installation workmanship. Unfortunately, the frame of our wooden shutter door was pulled out of place during the carpet installation. The crew pointed it out to me after the carpet was in place. I went back to the store and Michael assured me that they would take care of the problem. Austin came out to inspect and took pictures. He also assured me that that would be fixed. Adam came yesterday and pinpointed the cause of the damage and found an ingenious way to fix it. It is good as new now. Adam told me that Michael had been in business for over 40 years. His three sons mentioned above are part of this family business. I am impressed by how they conduct this family business by offering a good selection of quality products and custom oriented service. It was a very good experience for us from beginning to end. We highly recommend Michael's Carpet. We love to support local small businesses. read more

We had a great experience with Michael's Carpets. Austin did the estimate and walked me through how the process would occur. They kept me informed about delays with the materials, due to the supply line disruptions. Finally, the installers moved all furniture and were attentive to our needs. There aren't enough good things to say about Michael's Carpet. We recently moved out of Huntington Beach. We needed new carpet for our new home in Temescal Valley (Corona). Originally we were going to go with Home Depot...let's just say they failed us miserably; between pushing back our installation day and just being all around unreasonable. Enter Michael's Carpet. We were greeted my Michael himself. We explained our situation, and he said he would have people at our house in a couple days to install new carpet and tile floors. Not only were they happy to drive out to Corona to do the install, but they were cheaper than Home Depot and better quality! I HIGHLY recommend Michael's Carpet for customer service, quality, price and all around friendliness. Our new carpet and tile are absolutely beautiful! read more
