I almost don't want to review this spot, because I'm afraid it'll get crowded and overrun (not based on my review - I'm not that egotistical - but based on everyone's good reviews). But, I also want everyone else to know that you can get good, fresh food with stellar service if you venture just a bit outside of the Disney bubble. This was our last meal in the area before heading back home. The eatery is located in a strip mall, opposite an auto body/car wash building. The interior is kind of small - only a few closely packed tables opposite the counter - and they also had a couple of tables in front of the main window. You order at the counter first, staring up at the oversized menu chalkboard (or, you can snag one of the printed menus and take your time reviewing your options). I went with the Eggs Benedict Carnivore, with the upgraded "Those Potatoes" - basically hash browns mixed with onions and bell peppers ($13.99). My husband ordered the Corn Beef Hash, also with Those Potatoes ($10.99). The coffee was self-serve from the pots on the counter. We snagged one of the open indoor tables and settled in to wait for our food. Let me just pause here to applaud the staff. The kid (and I say "kid" from the comfort of my old age, but I feel like the majority of the people working behind the counter that day were in their early 20's) that took our order and rang us up was incredibly friendly and helpful. He brought silverware to our table, then kept coming back to ask if we wanted or needed hot sauce, ketchup, condiments, salt or pepper - always with a smile in his voice and eyes (I'm assuming he was smiling behind his mask). The food was served quickly, and it was hot, fresh, flavorful and filling. I have to be honest and say that the poached eggs were just a touch overcooked - not enough to be hard-boiled, but definitely not as soft as a poached egg should be - but the flavor of everything made up for that. The steak in the carnivore Bennie was thinly-cut and not overly-seasoned, so it melded with the other flavors. "Those Potatoes" were fine, but I think I'd go without that particular upgrade on my next visit. My husband's Corned Beef hash quickly disappeared from his plate, as he made short work of the potatoes, hash and bread. His eggs were perfectly cooked, at least, and I know he enjoyed every second of his meal. This is definitely one of our more favorite recent finds, and will be high on our list for dining on our next visit to the area (I'm eyeballing that Gyro sandwich!) read more

I was looking forward to trying Willy's for brunch today after reading all the positive reviews. Well, my experience wasn't all that great. First, the staff was very lenient with patrons not wearing masks at all; they openly allowed customers who weren't wearing masks to enter the restaurant and proceed as if there are no indoor mask mandates. Second, the pancakes were not tasteless, flat, and a waste of money and calories. Not sure if it was an "off" day but I was expecting better. Third, there was no social distancing between tables inside. While I realize that things are improving, I find it odd given that no COVID indoor dining rules have been lifted yet. The two good things -- wait staff was attentive and the Eggs Benedict dish (although the eggs were over cooked)tasted better than my pancakes. I was tempted to rate this a 2 but the staff and Eggs Benedict slightly lifted this place to a 3. I won't be returning again though. read more

I saw this place when I was getting food at another spot so I decided to try this place again when I had to get lunch. Pretty small place but there are some tables and chairs to eat in. I ordered the Willy's Greek Chicken Wrap with the salad. For the price the wrap tasted good and everything went well together but personally I like Greek style wraps with tzatziki but then again it's a different take on it. The salad was good but I'm not a real fan of balsamic dressing and the olives with the pits still in them. I go here yearly from Seattle and I come for the amazing eggs Benedict. The owner is always there and great to talk to . So it has been 2 years because of covid and I finally was able to go again . According to the menu it's an up charge for potatoes, not sure if hash brown has an up charge. Called the order in, would've liked it if they would've mentioned the up charge on the phone. Total came out to $9.71 so got charged for extras that I'm unaware of. According to the menu it's supposed to be $7.99 for breakfast burrito. Was curious to see if the eggs benedict here was going to be as good as advertised -- IT DEFINITELY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. The flavor and creaminess exploded with every bite! To add to that, the hash browns were also well done (not too burnt + not overly greasy). Didn't really get to try the gyro since it was my bf's order and I was already full with the eggs but I had a bite and it was decent. He seemed to have no complaints either since the plate was empty by the end of our meal. Service was also very attentive and friendly. We were served by the bald gentleman w/ glasses and he has great customer service -- very kind and welcoming. My partner and I ate here as we were leaving Anaheim and wanted something quick. The employees were friendly and the breakfast looked good. The gyro sandwich was great and I definitely want to come back for another one next time I'm in Anaheim. My partner ordered the veal gyro sandwich but got chicken instead. He said although he didn't get his veal, it was still really good. The pita was so soft and the chicken in the chicken gyro wasn't dry. There's not much in the way of atmosphere and I get the feeling that most people get it to go. for us we were just looking for a good breakfast before getting back on the road.
