The problem is that most vegetables taste gross to me lol But Ben's Fast Food has figured out a way to make it not nasty. And it tastes really good! If you are all about healthy food this is it! Talk about getting quality veggies and low calorie options for low prices! Felt like meal prep food but tasty! You get micronutrients, fiber, fats and clean protein. I got the mixed chicken bowl for only $10 and it was super lean with half grains and half mixed greens. I added extra chicken $3 because even for a small women like me I needed more protein. Lots of veggies though which I loved! I will be back I just wish there was more chicken! This place is amazing. My girlfriend picked it up and said the location was shady and sketchy, but she told me to still give it 5 stars. They could charge double the amount for their food and it would still warrant a high rating. We were very surprised by the high quality we received. The pork and chicken were tender. The salad, rice and toppings were fresh and crisp. The salad dressing tasted like it was made :0 minutes before we ate it. I guess the location is in a business park, without proper signage or lighting, so the ambiance was unfavorable. The food was pretty good, but the process of picking it up was really confusing. Apparently, if you order through Yelp or GrubHub, you may or may not receive the notification that your food is ready to be picked up. I waited in the bright, white light of the pick up area for around 30 minutes before I saw a worker and asked him if my food was ready. Apparently, my food had been ready for a while, but I didn't receive any texts. Technology is not always reliable, so I think it would be nice if there were more workers that could let you know if your food was ready.. or some kind of sign that displayed the names of orders that are ready? Located in a light-industrial area, it's a totally no-frills but high-tech situation with verrrry tasty food that's super healthy and incredibly affordable. What stated as a random find on DoorDash has become the topic of conversation for days. My coworker was looking for something healthy to order for lunch and as I scrolled I stumbled upon here. She ordered the food was delivered and we fell in love from the moment we got the bag. Such cute details!! There was a cute postcard stapled to the bag and her name written on the TO-GO container with Thank You. And then the best part the FOOD. She took one bite and then she had us all try it. It was SO YUMMY! Which then turned into me ordering it for my mom's birthday and the family loved it. And now we are going to order at work again because why not it's that freaking delicious. Pork was tender and had a nice roasted flavor, and the chickpea potato mix was seasoned perfectly. The picked onions are a nice addition to the bowls as well. We also liked the chocolate pudding: super rich, chocolatey flavor! The texture is a liiittle grainy compared to your usual pudding but I didn't mind it all since the flavor was spot-on. We love that Ben's makes healthy food taste amazing, and we can honestly eat it over & over again without getting tired of it. Then I have to find my order numbers and finally they figured it out. The salad was a little old with the green veggies already soggy. The salad dressing was very small and the salad is very dry with not enough green in it: chicken is flavorful but there are only a few small pieces. This place is legit a ghost kitchen. We were confused about the location, but yes this is what the entrance of the restaurant looks like. Apparently it's not even called "Ben's Fast Food." The inside of it had obnoxiously loud music. There were no cashiers and very little seating (two small benches). They had one working mobile order kiosk and it took forever to get a turn to use it. We have been ordering from Ben's all the time, however, not anymore after tonight's awful experience. We have noticed the decline in food quality, packaging, and the lengthy time to prepare. My food was delayed over an hour today, it arrived poorly packaged, missing the avocado I added to it, extremely salty potatoes and chickpeas, missing extra dressing that I paid for.
