I have an Everytable subscription and pick up my order at this location. I enjoy many Everytable meals, but I am canceling my subscription after a less-than-ideal experience here. I usually get 3-4 meals in my subscription order for an entire week. For me, the main point of the subscription is to save myself time from meal prepping or ordering takeout from restaurants multiple times a week. I check the expiration dates when I pick up my subscription order just to make sure there are items that don't expire until the end of my work week on Friday, so I don't have to throw out any meal and waste food or go back to Everytable to exchange an expired meal. Heck, I check expiration dates when I go grocery shopping to avoid those hassles (it's happened multiple times from experience). For my most recent pickup order, I found a meal that had stock on display with a later expiration date. I asked if I could exchange it with one that had a later date. The staff made a passive aggressive comment that, "if I didn't trust their work," to just pick out the items myself. He said he noticed I always checked the dates, and it's not like they were trying to "screw me over." I didn't think that way at all and was not even thinking negatively the staff picking a meal that had a later date in stock. I get that people make mistakes--it's not a big deal--and for me, checking the dates only took a few minutes as opposed to driving back. I'm canceling my subscription and never coming back here since the staff gets offended and defensive instead of thinking from the customers' perspective. I went today for the very first time after hearing my friend rave about it, and it definitely did not disappoint. The prices of the prepackaged meals ranged from $6-$9 (I Ibelieve), and they even have a 25% off section for food that needs to be eaten THAT DAY. The meals all look very well balanced with protein, veggies, and carbs, which is so key. I like that I no longer have to grocery shop for myself and figure out what to eat. THIS IS MY NEW MEAL PREP!! I got a salmon wrap from the 25% off reduced section, but the cashier forgot to take off the discount. I didn't realize until after he showed me the receipt but I didn't want to mention it so I just left with my order. So if you're buying something from this section, make sure you let the cashier know as they're ringing you out. I also like that they have a rewards program where you can earn points to get an even bigger discount on the meals!! Food and service are great. I've been here quite a few times to pick up healthy salads, plates and chicken pieces. It's basically healthy meals on the go for cheap. I feel good spending money here versus the typical fast food joint. It's also nice to know I have options that are good for me and will keep me full for a while. New establishment , seemed trendy. Found this place on Yelp while driving home from a game. Store seems like a simple small grocery market. Bought several items. Tried the elote salad, salmon, and the Turkey taco meal. All the meals were prepped. So all you need to do is heat them up and eat. I find the concept really easy and user friendly. For $9-10 a meal it's not bad. Given all the food cost is high anyway I think the price is fair. Quality of food is pretty good. I find the salad and salmon to be rather fresh. More than a couple occasions, I've had items missing from my order. Trying to stay organized and on a schedule, this really puts a damper on plans... Especially when you have to hit a $65 minimum for free delivery and are now just missing your breakfast item for three days. Yes, they issue refunds promptly, but that doesn't resolve the issue of not having the food I've planned for the next couple days. With so many meal kits, I chose Everytable because they had a physical location and you can purchase one without a weekly subscription. After coming to the Santa Ana location to try the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, I signed up for a weekly subscription for about 7 weeks and then recently canceled it. At this price point, it is much healthier than going out to eat at a restaurant. I like how the nutrition facts are laid out. The best value meals are those with high protein and carb which tends to be anything with chicken. It is also great that with the weekly subscription I can mix and match meals (eating the same meals every week gets boring! Thanks for the variety and choices!) At this location, the staff is extremely friendly & the interior is clean and well-organized. The food is either a hit or miss because some meals taste amazing while others lack a lot of flavor. Given the 3 day shelf life, it is an alright compromise for convenience and taste. I tried this location out for the first time this weekend. I was happy to find that it is Indeed a healthy and inexpensive restaurant. It's very clean inside, there's a a restroom and ample parking. It's a shopping center filled with different spots to eat and a little further down 17th st going west is target, cvs and a smart n final. The best thing about everytable is that you can order online and pickup or walk-in and dine in, and if you need your food warmed up- they warm up your food (at no extra cost). They have drinks like sparkling water and snacks at the register for purchase. Some of my coworkers had tried the food from the location near our hospital. When I saw one was down the street from me, I finally gave it a try. All the food is prepared and packaged in the fridges along the wall. They have a variety of options to choose from, most of them being chicken and they also label what allergens the food might contain. I have tried the feed my seoul bowl, Elote Ceasar, pesto chicken sandwich, and the pomodoro pasta. They were all great. I was especially surprised by the feed my seoul bowl. The kimchi sauce that comes with it was fantastic! I didn't really notice any place to sit down and eat if you wanted to eat your meal there, but there are some tables in the plaza, I'd you get your food warmed up by them. I heard about this place thru FB and since it's close to my work, I thought I would check it out. I'm amazed and impressed. They have good quality packaged food made fresh daily. You can purchase in-store or online. So many choices of packaged to-go foods. The food is prepared by chefs daily to stock their cold boxes. They even offer to warm up your food if you want to eat it in your car :) Such a good way for grab and go lunch with healthy options. Food is nutritious and affordable. Also, they have unique drinks and chips to select from. I'm so glad this place opened up near my work. A healthier option than the fast food places nearby. Everytable used to be a staple of mine when I was in the area. I love the convenience of this place as well as the freshness. Everytable is set up similar to an "upscale" convenience store. You walk in and there a bunch of coolers on along with wall with plastic containers of food. They have a variety of options - salads, hot plates, bowls, wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, etc. These are all chef curated dishes that are prepared and sourced locally (I believe in LA). The hot plates need to be microwaved but they come with all of the directions right on the box. It's kind of like a meal ready in a box situation like Blue Apron, HelloFresh, Home Chef except everything has been pre-cooked for you. The dishes I've tried have been great, a good balance of flavors and textures that you wouldn't get from a soggy take-out place. I think the portions are a great size as well. I am left satisfied but never overstuffed. Some of their dishes can be on the smaller side so I'll eat two of them in a sitting but I can see how people can lose weight eating these! They're low calorie and high protein for a lot of the dishes. The menus rotate I believe based not the chef so even if I gave you a recommendation here it might not be around anymore. read more

This is my first order and I ordered a week's worth of food for pick up. When I picked it up on Saturday, I unfortunately realized the expiration date was much sooner than I anticipated/planning for. I was worried until the cashier told me I could exchange the meals when they expire. Once they expired, I gave EveryTable a call and Dani answered. She was so accommodating and friendly in regards to reassuring me that I could return the meals and get fresher ones. I was easily able to return them and will keep in mind that they expire within 2-3 days and to just order every 3 days. All in all, I was very impressed with Dani's customer service; she was super nice and amazingly friendly. Customer service like that is really hard and rare to come by. I'm pretty happy with the meals and the amazing food; but I'm most happy about how friendly Dani and her coworkers were. I'll be returning for more! read more
