Horrible service when I walked in I waited in line then 2 people walked up in front of me and got their food before I could even take my order and food servings portions were small. LIZ Charged me twice for avocado and then had to do a refund and once I was serviced my food I barley got any chicken then I showed her my plate and she said that was normal portions I've visited tons of waba grills and have never been serviced such small portions I have never been so unsatisfied with service like I did at this location. This applies to the location at 3070 W. Chapman in Orange. This is the BEST location to go to. I've gone to locations all over North Orange County and South L.A. and they pale in comparison with regards to service, friendliness, cleanliness, food preparation, and portion size. You would think that the portions are the same because the prices are, but I found that to not be true. Different locations use different size containers but charge the same price. But no matter what shift I encounter at the Orange location, I get the same excellent quality each visit. The salads are NEVER slimy or old. The floors and countertops are ALWAYS clean. And the staff ALWAYS give me service with a smile. I appreciate how they have helped me to lose weight and improved my mental health with their positive attitudes. NEGATIVE STARS!!! I went to this location today at 1pm. Ordered chicken bowl. Drove all the way home to finally eat because I was starving after a doctor appointment. Took two bites and saw a maggot in my food. I called the location & was advised to call the manager. I was given the number & he did not answer, so I had to drive alll the way back to show them & get my money back. When I arrived & showed the man at the counter, he called the cook and showed him as they're discussing in Spanish. Then he called his manager & I told him I already called & he didn't answer. She was very nice, extremely helpful, and had such a positive attitude--it's rare to find someone like her. I truly believe this business is very fortunate to have her on their team. She made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in. I was running late today and rushing, didn't have time to pack my lunch, so I stopped by here--and I'm so glad I did. I go in and tell the ladies working that I'm picking up an order and they let me know they have not received anything :( Ms. Dania took my info and noticed I had ordered from a different location. Waba grill has a variety of teriyaki bowls, plates and associated sides like gyoza dumplings. The counter service restaurant is very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the Kalbi ribs plate and teriyaki chicken plate. Both came with rice and salad. There are also a variety of teriyaki sauces from mild to spicy. We loved the spicy sauces. The kalbi ribs were a bit too fatty but tasted great. This place a great healthier option to fast food. We will be back. read more

I am a big fan of Waba grill I usually eat it every day at work since I work as the first responder and often times we don't get to bring our meals with us to the nature of our work. This waba grill is the WORST when it comes to portions. I came here to this Waba maybe two weeks ago and I got what looked to be like scraps of chicken. With avocado and a drink I paid almost $15. At that price, I expect to get chicken with my rice lol. I asked her if that's the normal amount. She said yes that they have to use 4.5 ounces of chicken, which I already knew. Like I said I go to Waba Grill all over Orange County often and I know what the 4.5 looks like. So I said hey maybe this is just a one time. Well today, I went back. Try to give it a second chance I get the chicken bowl and I felt like I got duped again. So I immediately brought her home and got my scale and I only got 3.8oz!! That's absurd. I even saw the cook taking little chunks of chicken off the bowl before saucing it up. I don't mean to sound dramatic, but I feel like this is a form of robbery. The employee said that the owner is constantly watching him through the cameras, making sure they're not putting too much chicken. I don't know how much truth is to this. Your customers are hard-working people coming in to get a decent meal and that $12-$15 we should be getting the 4.5 that you're saying you're giving us. read more

I'm going to say this is the BEST Waba in the area, and I'm not just saying that because I live within a short driving distance. They usually pack my food to go but this time I was going to eat in. There was a mistake made, and their cook (who I'll call Bianca) realized it and quickly corrected it. This place is almost always clean, or being cleaned, so I really can't stress how good this place is. I go to one, usually, about 7 miles away because it's the one by my old place and I trust them. I found my new place. 10/10 read more
