We usually love this location but unfortunately last night (Friday) really missed the mark. My 4 year old was really excited to have a milkshake but their ice cream machine was broken. After I calmed her down (anyone who has a 4 year old understands ) I convinced her to get a juice. When the guy at the window handed me the juice it felt as if it had just come out of an ice chest and was slightly wet so I placed it in my cup holder. When I was getting everything out of the car I placed the juice box on top of my salad in the "cold" bad and not with the hot food. It wasn't until I started plating everyone's food that I realized the juice box had a huge cut on the side and it had leaked all over my salad and my cup holder. I'm not exactly sure what happened but it looks like it may have been cut by a box cutter. My salad was ruined and my daughter still didn't get the drink she wanted. I eat enough that some employees actually know my name! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but I just prefer chicken over hamburgers most of the time. Sometimes I get a craving for In and Out, but that tends to be on Sundays. I couple of hints if you've never been here before or only come occasionally. If you want to use the drive-thru, enter on Helm and not Tustin Ave. If there's a line, you might feel like you're blocking cars not wanting the drive thru. If the line for In and Out isn't bad, enter the parking lot from Tustin Ave to go inside. There are also times when the drive thru is really backed up, it's quicker to use the mobile app and go inside and pick it up. A little Chick-fil-e hack that works at most locations. With any many times as I've been here, my order has been messed up maybe a couple times. Nobody is perfect. But I would challenge the USPS messes up my mail more than this Chick-fil-e messes up my order. The people who work here are usually very friendly. read more

Organizational skills top knotch, every one polite, kind and helpful, bathroom were clean, I never saw so many kids, no one was pushing or trying to get ahead of another person. Every one was really having a great time. I will call it a dining experience. Now the food was hot, we ordered and got what we asked for. My favorite was the ice cream, McDonalds they put something in it and I get sick every time, but I like the soft freeze. So we ordered our soft freeze, ate them and I was fine, it was exceptional, matter of fact when my friend and I left Orange Co to go back home, we stopped for a cone for the road. I utilize this branch of Chick fil A often because it's in the middle of my commute and right off the freeway. There is plenty of parking. There is a drive thru. But just a heads up the entrance/exit to the plaza gets a little crazy around meal times because of In N Out's drive thru line. The staff here is always super friendly and eager to help. Chick fil A is located off of Tustin Avenue near Heim. It is easy to locate, however it shares a parking lot with In & Out, so there are times when entrance to the parking lot gets backed up into the street. Parking is decent, but drive thru seems to be the preferred choice for both of these popular eateries. I, too, am a fan of the drive thru. This Chick fil A's drive thru configuration has recently been redone and is much more efficient than before. It now has 2 ordering lanes that converge into a single line as you approach the window. It is clean and well maintained. Orders are taken at the menu board by a live person. The menu board is up to date and straight forward. My family's favorite items for breakfast are the chicken minis and the hashbrowns. Chicken minis are basically a chicken chunk tucked into a mini, fluffy, buttery biscuit which can be dipped into the sauce of your choice. The hashbrowns are little circles that have the perfect texture balance of crunch and fluffy potato. Our favorite lunch items are the Deluxe Spicy Chicken sandwich with a side of their mac & cheese. The sandwich has just enough heat and is finished off with your choice of dipping sauce. The mac & cheese is decadent without being "heavy" and it's always a bonus when we get some the toasty cheese in our serving! We have been coming to this location for YEARS the staff that has been here that long have seen my boys grow. It is such a friendly calm ambiance. Staff always has a smile and so helpful. I've been coming here consistently each week for almost three years before now leaving a review. There's a few people like Miss Kitano who have been consistently there and know how to keep the operation, especially at lunch, moving efficiently. Meanwhile, the turnover is rapid. This location needs to take notes from Woodbury. The ones up front and especially those who bag the final sauces and drinks to call them out ... they walk through molasses and don't have have much awareness about flow. Food Bags sit there getting cold before someone realizes there's drinks to add to them.. if you call out the name and then place on the shelf where no one but employees can see it, then more people come in and we are waiting, go back to call those orders immediately instead of standing around for the next food bag! The app isn't always accurate. You know the waffle fries do not taste good lukewarm! The parking lot is definitely hard to navigate with In n Out next door and Wells Fargo in same side of lot. I get that you're literally training a newbie or three every time I'm there. But be aware of your customers! Don't just look down at your bags and reach for sauces in slo-mo. Or joke around while we are all watching you while the bags back up waiting for drinks. So frustrating. Just want to snatch my bag sometimes and after years, I've firmly but politely verbalized after many silent simmering. There's maybe 8 vehicles in drive thru and there's currently 6 people waiting inside, but you would think it was jumping at lunch time. It is chaotic and a lot of employees are standing around confused about what to do and who to serve. I've never seen a CFA function like this. Worse... I only ordered a strawberry milkshake and I've been waiting for almost 25 minutes to get my order. It's awful. AND my milkshake sat on the counter for almost 10 min and no one knew it was mine. I love that I get no delivery fee added on top of the other fees. I personally hate fast food because it upsets my stomach and always makes me feel incredibly awful however Chick-fil-A does not. I'm currently sitting in this Chick-fil-A, I ordered my food from the counter, and went to sit down, when the food came to our table, we noticed a large fry was missing, I went to the counter, receipt in hand, and asked for the large fry from a worker behind the counter who promptly went and told someone else. That person came out and said, "hi, I personally packed that tray for you and know I didn't miss anything from that order." I said, "are you saying I'm lying or trying to steal a fry? Come look at the tray, we haven't touched the food, we're missing a fry." He came over to verify he was right, he saw the tray of food and said, "oh, yeah, I meant to put the fry on a different tray because it wasn't all going to fit on one." He returned to our table with a large fry. Then I went to go ask for more sauce, apparently the policy is two sauces per item, but we had large fries and 4 count chicken strips. The person at the counter said, "you can't get any more, you're at the limit." I asked if I can buy more, she said that I couldn't and would need to buy the sauce bottles. I've been coming to this location since 2009, when Larry would come out and talk to the guests and the workers were nice. now it's completely changed. Have been to this location before. Service here now is very slow. The two employees, the guy and the girl, directing traffic don't know how to direct traffic. 5 cars passed me, they were behind me. It took 15 minutes to take my order. Food was good. Don't go through the drive thru if you need to be out in under 15 minutes. 5/4/24 8pm Received the wrong items, grilled nuggets instead of crispy. My bad for not checking. Got home and had to turn around and drive all the way back. They interrogated me like I was trying to pull a fast one or something. Asked me over and over where my receipt was (I paid cash and didn't get one) the food I brought back was still super hot. Asked me several times the exact time I came, order name, and contents of the order and total cost.....Girl seemed super anoyyed, and nobody ever once apologized. Waited a super long time just to get the correct nuggets, they spent a bunch of time grilling me about my order and where the receipt was. (Paid cash I didn't get one and the guy who was taking payments was still there and remembered me) Not a single apology, acted kinda rude like I did something wrong. I remember back in the day even if they make you pull forward because food wasn't ready they would apologize and give you a little card that said "free meal on us".
