My first time here and I'm impressed! It happened to be a Tuesday and they had a Tenders Tuesday promotion for $2.50 each and allows different flavors for each piece. The tenders were huge and perfectly fried when it came out. The outside was crispy and inside was truly tender, juicy, and steaming hot. So fresh and delicious. We tried Garlic Parm as a non spicy option. We also ordered Nashville medium and Nashville hot. They were all really flavorful and very good. Personally I could easily handle the Hot. I heard from others that they used to have two spicier flavors that are no longer available. I'm sad I never got to try them. The flavors were very intense and can easily be added to a sandwich and it would have plenty of flavor. read more

Wow! Im absolutely floored with Cluck chicken. I was in the area and needed a quick lunch. Picked this up and was very surprised. I have to admit, the menu layout was a bit confusing at first and took me a minute to figure it out. The cashier was lovely and after letting her know it was my first time she went above and beyond to guide me through the process. You can get as many chicken tendies as you want at this place! Just 1? 2? 5? 30? You name it, they got you. I went with their most popular, the Korean Soy Garlic and Nashville hot. Southern man here, I love spicy! - KGS was absolutely . Flavor was on point. I dragged the chicken through all the sauce that dripped off. SO GOOD! The Nashville hot was spicy, but mild for my taste buds. Dont be fooled, if youre not used to spice you might get burned. Excellent flavor with a kick, just as it should be. I didn't want to get too crazy so I ordered normal curly fries. These were well seasoned and crunchy with soft inside. Great place to eat. Similar to Dave's Hot Chicken and Cane's. What I love about Cluck is the wide customization items. I will definitely be back for more of that Korean Garlic Soy and their new flavor, Mango Habenaro. Wow sooo good! We got the 15 piece and were allowed 3 flavors. We chose Korean soy garlic, medium Nashville and lemon pepper. The chicken was soo juicy it literally leaked with each bite. It was also very crispy and had an amazing batter that wasn't too thick. Lemon pepper flavor was a 4/5, Nashville medium 5/5 sooo delicious. The soy garlic was like a 3/5 because I prefer it extra saucy but there wasn't much of a potent flavor and it wasn't as wet. I would definitely return read more

Okay, so I met the owner at a Yelp event last year. He owns the Cut which serves a great burger and other American choices. He has a new name from me: The Chicken Guy! Yes, he discovered he has a "gift" in making incredible chicken sandwiches. No, not just good chicken sandwiches, no these are at a whole other level of good. I'm thinking perfection. I was on a work trip and I was looking for a restaurant to eat dinner. I had heard about this restaurant through social media influencer and Yelp. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. Staff were nice and friendly. It was wing Wednesday. I ordered Korean soy garlic and garlic Parmesan. Friendly staff and food came out relatively quick. I ordered the Nashville loaded fries, which is the popular flavor, in medium spice. The spice level is tolerable except some pieces of chicken that has really absorbed all the spices may burn. The cole slaw and fries help with relief. The fries are curly fries so I was happy they were not just steak fries or crinkle cut fries. The chicken pieces were nicely cooked and flavorful. We agreed this is a generous portion for two and a good sharing portion for 4 people if each person ordered a main such as a burger. read more

Saw this on instagram and we decided to go here to try it out. It was worth it. We got 2 mini sandwiches and a loaded fries. The classic cluck is the smaller version but honestly it is the same size as other places, which is good. Chicken is fried nicely and still juicy. Comes with mayo and lettuce. Think I will ask for cole slaw next time though. The Nashville hot is also a mini version and is the same as the classic but has cole slaw. Very tasty and it comes in four different levels of heat. The side of pickles were good as it allows you to add to the sandwich or eat them as is. The CBR loaded fries are waffle fries covered in cheese and fried chicken bites with a sauce. This is big enough to a be meal by itself. No need to order something else. Overall a 10/10 Definitely coming back as it is beater than other places and closer to home than other places we go. read more

Chicken sandwich was a good size and had just the right amount of lettuce and sauce. I liked their bun which was not soggy. The Mac and cheese portion should be larger given the price. It was cheesy and the spice on top was a nice touch. It only took 5 minutes to get our food to go after ordering. I came in during OC restaurant week. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I decided to go with the chicken Parmesan sandwich it came with fries, peach lemonade, and beignets. It was so good. The people were helpful. I really thought I could eat the whole sandwich but half got me full. I gave the rest to my brother and he is not a fan of chicken sandwiches but he really liked it. The fries were super delicious. The beignets were soft. The cashier was so friendly & provided me with verbal updates as to when the food would be ready, since there were a lot of orders ahead of mine. A bit disappointed by Cluck Kitchen! Fried chicken is one of my favorite food groups and Cluck was just a bit lackluster. We got a smattering of tenders and these were huge! I loved that. There was definitely no scrimping here when it comes to portion sizes. But... the country chicken just had so little flavor. I was surprised how lacking in spice the breading was. Such a bummer. The lemon pepper and hot honey had a great flavor but the hot honey was definitely lacking in the honey department. Overall, I think Cluck is fine but just not a place that I would go to again soon. read more

Amazing! Their chicken is fantastic! Even the mild has a tiny kick but medium is the best for spice level for me. The ratio of chicken and bread is great. The chicken is always juicy and soft. The only downside to me is their fries. It's not that great as their chicken. I wish they would do better with their fries. The service is great! They are always nice and helpful. I absolutely love this place and go here every now and then for a treat! I usually get the chicken tender box with fries and at hot spice level which is kicker for sure! This time I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich spice level medium and I personally think I should have stuck with the hot but for like 90% of people the medium will be totally fine and still spicy enough. I do think that something was a bit different this time around. Not sure if it was the breading or the chicken itself, just couldn't put my finger on it but it was still delicious! We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was a small restaurant with few seatings inside, but plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered the Nashville Hot loaded fries and the Nashville hot sandwich meal. The loaded fries felt fresh with the cabbage and were really filling which I really enjoyed! There were also different spice levels but we got the mild as I only like a little kick to the chicken but I think I might have been able to handle medium. I ordered the mini size and was so shocked at how big it was! It was definitely messy to eat, but so good. Been here a couple times. It's the best place to eat a fiery chicken sandwich so you can fire in the hole back home. Seriously, their mild is like medium or hot anywhere else. Flavors not bad, the coleslaw is good, especially to add texture to the sandwich. Got the buffalo one and it's a saucy mess but tasty. Not as sour as other buffalo sauces though, so it's a good balance. The chicken was super moist and definitely not overcooked. The batter was super crispy, even with all the sauce, but it does slide off the chicken easy if you don't clamp down on the bun. My daughter got the Nashville and I think that's a better tasting sandwich for us. We got the minis which were still the same size or bigger than chicken sandos from other places. Makes me wonder how big the regulars are. For a side, we ordered a Mac and Cheese... and this is the reason why we docked this review a star. I'd give 0 stars for that Mac and cheese. I'm not sure if I came too close to closing time so they brought out a batch that wasn't ready or something but it tasted like a dry bowl of chalk with some cold cheese on top. If this is indicative of their normal Mac and Cheese, they need to take this off the menu. For $6 for a tiny bowl, this was a ripoff and an assault on the senses. Do NOT buy this! I might come back to try their chicken wings. read more

I got here at a decent hour especially during lunch rush. There's parking in the back of the businesses if the the main parking lot gets filled up. Everything is accessible. I came in at a good time. As soon as I was done ordering, a rush of people started to line up. This spot really is a gem. Again, I didn't have to wait too long for my order. I maybe waited about 10 min tops. I had order the Nashville chicken sandwich in the mold flavor. It still has a kick but not like making you feel burned. The flavors together just go together. I would like to update my previous review. Their prices are very reasonable now! You can get two chicken tenders for under $10 and they aren't like the little 3 inch tiny tenders they give you at Cane's. They were huge so it's a great value. In this era of rampant shrinkflation and price gouging, that was refreshing to see. So many restaurants are getting skimpy with chicken and it's really getting annoying. I also like that they offer mini sandwiches when you just want a small snack. And their ketchup packets are organic, so kudos for that! Service was also very friendly. My only complaint is that the chicken was slightly overbrined/too salty but I will take that over dry, sad, unbrined chicken any day. I got a Vietnamese coffee next door and it cost $9! That's a greedy business that I will be avoiding in the future but I will definitely come to this plaza for this chicken shop again. read more

I ordered the 5 piece chicken tenders flavors: Nashville mild, honey BBQ, Korean soy garlic I'm not great with spicy so the mild felt pretty spicy to me but did have good heat. Honey BBQ was just the right level of sweet without being too overpowering this was my favorite Korean soy garlic- to me tasted similar to sushi soy sauce, albiet slightly more mild than sushi restaurant soy sauce it wasn't particularly innovative in flavor and I didn't taste much garlic. The meal came with 2 pieces of bread and pickles. The breading was in the middle of not being too flaky-light and not too crispy thick. The tenders are big in size. Note: I did not use any dipping sauce because I wanted the true flavor. The restaurant is smaller and hot from the kitchen being close and open style but the server I had was pleasant and the food came out very fast. Critiques: If the sauces were tweaked to be a bit more unique and flavorful and maybe bread was toasted instead of just cold I think this would have more potential to be a top chicken tender spot. One of the tenders was slightly pink in the middle and would have been better if cooked longer. read more

Their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is comparable to Dave's hot chicken... dare I say perhaps even better. Their slaw is so frickin' good, literally the best slaw I've ever had and I'm not even the biggest fan of slaw. I was about to get it on the side but I'm so glad I left it on the sandwich because the vinegar taste complimented the fried chicken so well. The fried chicken texture reminds me of Korean fried chicken where the outside is very crispy but the inside meat was soft and tender. The only con to this place is that it's rather on the pricey side but honestly... if I'm craving a fried chicken sandwich, I would definitely come back (bye bye Dave's). read more

We love this place and we order it frequently through DoorDash. However last night I was pretty disappointed to see you changed the loaded fries. I loved the waffle fries and before there was more of a cheese sauce and now it's just sliced cheese. That's a big bummer. Also I didn't realize the sandwich ordering changed and we ordered the standard size not realizing it was smaller and not what we normally get. However the garlic Parmesan tender was amazing and I love the bites on the loaded fries now. But please bring back the old loaded fry recipe. read more

I would say that I kinda wished they had Goma (sauce), because they didn't. Service: Solid. They make sure you're topped up all the time, and the food arrives relatively quickly. Although, I came here during a slow night. Ambiance: Classic shabu vibe. A bunch of tables for 8s that have an option to be split between parties if needed. The buffet area is in the center of everything, and there's a good amount of space between tables and within the buffet section.

Well, well, well, folks. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I gotta say it like it is: the Nashville chicken here is as dry as a desert. Seriously, the fried chicken cutting is so thick and the dough is so hard that you might as well be chewing on a horseshoe! Unless you happen to have a giant jaw like a horse, that is. To make matters worse, the chicken meat is dry and totally tasteless. And don't even get me started on the sauce! It's so stingy that it renders the chicken sandwich completely undesirable. Talk about a major letdown! Sure, the sandwich looks like a million bucks, but looks can be deceiving, my friends. It's like the old saying goes: it's all bark and no bite. I tried Cluck Kitchen for the first time and it was incredible! I got the three chicken tenders, fried pickles, and corn fritters. The worker at the counter was great, he helped me pick the spicy level (mild, so glad I didn't go any hotter!) and suggested the Comeback sauce with the Nashville chicken, which was the perfect combo. The ranch that came with the pickles and whatever white sauce came with the corn fritters were both crazy good too. If you like fried foods and dipping sauce like me you'll love this place. Fried pickles were good but the corn fritters were the stars (after the tenders of course!). The tenders were so massive I struggled to fit them in the dipping sauce contains, which was a good problem to have. I can't wait to go back! read more

After 5 months of delays and waiting for the new Chicken spot, Cluck Kitchen, to open, I finally got to try their food during their soft opening! LA has been the Mecca of Hot Chicken in SoCal. Long drives and long waits, no more! Got my new fave, not just cuz it's close, but because it's sooo good. Plenty of Heat but enjoyable. Addictive! I usually hate chicken tenders cuz they're so plain and flavorless at most places but dang they got it right. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was one of the best I've had and I've had Howlin and Hattie B's. The street corn fritters are sooooo delicious. Way lighter than you would think too.
