Negative rating if possible option...... Purely DISGUSTING and an absolute DISAPPOINTMENT - a friend and myself went into Chick-fil-A yesterday (7/31 @ 4:30 pm) for our first-time visit since their reopening. Prior to the remodeling closure, this location was always such a nice sit-down, dine-in treat, but yesterday's (7/31) experience truly blew me clear out of the water and has me reconsidering whether or not this should be a desirable place to return with my friends and family. Before, the hospitality and overall approach had an inviting appeal, knowing the cleanliness and staff were always top-notch. The lobby always had at least one employee ensuring the face and the brand of the company was up to "my pleasure" standards, always welcoming (at times opening the door) customers at the front entrance, consistently cleaning booths and floors, and even checking in on each customer after their first bite. Even removing trays from tables when noticing the meal was finished. Seriously, at the time, this store went above and beyond for each customer. What in the world went wrong? After plenty of glances looking to the counter, it was apparent the staff was neglecting the dine-in customers and prioritizing the drive-through orders instead. Our meals took far longer than the passing vehicles and especially delivered cold. What was even more off-putting was how FILTHY and DISGUSTING the dining area remained from the moment we stepped foot inside the restaurant till we left. It was shocking how many staff members were sitting and taking a break or staff clumping together and visiting among themselves beside the front entrance. No employee surveyed the area to collect the stack full of trays by the trash can that was overfilled, not cleaning off the crumbs and grease across ALL booths and tables, not sweeping the fries, napkins, and straw wrappers from the floor. Nothing in comparison to what it was like before. There WASN'T a single seat that was decent or clean for dine-in customers to enjoy their meals. Nearly every table had leftover sauce packets or some remnant of customer visitation and never an attempt at cleanliness afterward. This experience would have never passed before the closure. What surprised me was a trainer had taken a break with a new employee in the backside (apparent they were on lunch) and, when returning from break, she (the trainer) chose to grab the order table tent from a table but didn't bother grabbing an empty soda cup right beside it. Had she done so, she would have noticed how packed the trash can was, the trail of fries on the floor, and the long stack of trays in the waste area, which a saw a customer have to "push the trash" to provide space to dump his waste in the bin. Not to see the low stock of condiments; note they were scattered throughout the restaurant. And yet, this was a trainer training a new employee (Deana) demonstrating the expectations of how to maintain this particular store (#01892) dine-in customer experience. I've worked in the food industry, and this doesn't pass. Seeing plenty of behind-the-counter and no front presence to maintain that face value shows the decline in company/customer relations. The only staff member who perceived customer dine-in was Donna, who was generous enough to refill our drinks before leaving. I love Chick-fil-A and hope to push for a second dine-in. But having gotten sick later on, we'll see. read more

Chick-fil-A's staff always has the best customer service. The food was good here and came out super hot and fresh. The only thing was the fries were really inconsistent because the top was soggy, but the bottom fries were crunchier. read more

I dropped by here to check it out. I was greeted upon entry by an employee as he exited. Then, I was again greeted by an employee who did not make any eye contact but just shouted out the welcome. The line was short and my order taken in a quick and efficient manner. I promptly received my beverage just as ordered. I did not wait long for my name to be quickly called so I could pick up my food. Here is where this establishment knocked it out of the park: The sandwich was exactly as ordered and piping hot. The fries were also piping hot. I love hot food and this establishment scored a home run on food. That gets them 5 Stars! Another good thing was I have their app but forgot to record the transaction at the counter. The app let me enter data and request "points." Once again, great job. Plus, for those concerned about illnesses, they were wearing masks and wiping down the tables. They even gave me a place mat to use! Definitely a place worth visiting. read more

When you call, they don't get offer to do anything for you. I'm done throwing away my money at this location. Quality is completely lacking here. They always get our order wrong here for drive thru! I had the worst experience yesterday at this chic-fil-a location. There was an issue with my mobile order when I came to pick up at the drive thru so I asked to speak with the manager. As I pulled up to the window, the manager Travis already had a look of annoyance and disgust on his face. I pulled up and said hello. I was expecting him to say "hello my name is Travis and I'm the manager you requested to speak to. how may I help you." Instead I got a blank stare then he finally said with an attitude "what do you need." Our interaction didn't get any better from there. He was argumentative the whole conversation and told me I needed to pull out of the drive thru even though I had more questions for him and still hadn't been given my refund. A girlfriend introduced me to Chick-FIL-A about 15 years ago when I was visiting Texas. Really yummy. This day, we had a coupon mailed out to locals which got us over there because it was just a tad further down Tustin than I go every week. Still within 2 miles from home. Because I had the coupon for their Chicken Nuggets, I opted for that. What's so cool and review-worthy about Chicken Nuggets? They have a Grilled Chicken option! Yay! A healthier choice. I opted for those. They were quite tasty. I would definitely order those again, and I would never have known about the Grilled Chicken Nuggets if there hadn't been a coupon. I came to Chick-fil-A for the free chicken nuggets. Yep, ain't no shame in my game. Lol! I had to download the app to get the free nuggets. I went through the drive thru. I was able to place my order, swipe my app, and pay for my french fries with one person with a headset. I mention this because this is revolutionary!!! No longer do you have to go to 3 sections of a drive thru. You place your order and pay for your order at the same time and you just drive to the last window to pick up your food. Very quick process. This is one busy ass center!! Sorry, but so had to say it! This Chick-fil-A is located in the same center as In-N-Out! Enough said, right??!! Two of the busiest fast food restaurants, ever! I will say that upon construction, they did a good job keeping both restaurants separate from one another, so the drive-thru lines don't intertwine. However, those drive-thru lines can be pretty epic and stretch all the way to the street. I have driven through twice, but otherwise I park and go in. Service had always been great. They are always courteous and greet you with a smile. They keep all their condiments out, which is nice because you don't have to go back up to the line to ask for anything. This location gets super full inside. I came in the other day and every seat/table was taken. I'd never seen a Chick-fil-A that full before! The lines get super long inside, as well, but they are so well-staffed that they move quickly. That's one thing Chick-fil-A does well is staff their locations. They have at least 10-12 associates behind the counter and even more in the kitchen area. I also like that the manager is out there working right along with the staff. read more

It's rare that I take time to write a review. Something has to go really well, or awfully wrong. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with polite smiles and welcoming personalities. My son, who has been to Chick-Fil-A more than any human should, ordered his meal and when his order came...it wasn't what he actually wanted. The employee (Nathan) behind the counter, saw how upset my son was and came to our table to ask if everything was OK. I tried to explain that the mistake was ours, but Nathan wasn't having it. He remade the entire order. Above and beyond, even though we made the mistake. When I went to the counter to let the manager know how much I appreciated the service, I was met by the owner, Larry. No wonder the employees are so amazing! What a delightful person Larry was to interact with....he even gave me a few extra sauces to take home that I hadn't tried before. read more

I ordered off the Chick-fil-A app for my family and did not receive everything ordered and paid for. I talked to several people at Chick-fil-A to include someone who said he was a manager and explained the situation. I was basically told it was not their problem and to contact DOORDASH. I explained several times that I used THEIR app and as such, there was no record with DOORDASH directly with me or with my account. This is CHICK-FIL-A. I have spent thousands there. BUT the management didn't seem to care and when I asked him to "make it right", I was basically told it was not their problem. He could have easily put credit on my Chick-fil-A account like the kink people at the Yorba Linda location did a couple years back when they failed to give us everything we ordered. There is no way to call DOORDASH and as such, I paid for items USING THE CHICK-FIL-A app that I did not receive with no resolution from them. Fail. read more

Dined here for lunch with my family a few weeks ago. We ended up getting food poisoning from this location. Two of us got severe symptoms of food poisoning including nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, and body chills as well as abdominal cramping. My son was lucky. Thank god he only had changes in stool color but did feel nauseated. I will not be dining at this location ever again. All management could offer is a free complimentary milkshake and a refund for (2) of the chicken sandwiches. This in no way, shape, or form is equivalent to the resulting illness resulting from dining at this location. If you call corporate to complain, they just pass off the complaint to Location manager. They aren't concerned in the least with the accuracy of orders and refuse to take responsibility for this shortcoming. Had chik fil-a for my son's great report card. This was his choice. It is always hot and delicious. The chicken tastes great. Waffle fries are fresh and the kids think they are fun. Lots of great sauce and the workers are always present. This is my first time going through the drive thru. It was quick and easy. Started to get real busy after we ordered. Inside they have a little kids play area. Drink refills and more condiments are in store if you dine in. They have a few items for sale. It's a great chain in a busy location. Right next to In N Out. Located on Tustin ave near In and Out and Wells Fargo. Parking lot is small and gets a lot of traffic from its neighboring friends. The bagel morning sandwich is yummy. Whole grain toasted bagel with cheese, egg, bacon and a crispy chicken breast. Open up a pack of honey roasted bbq sauce and smear it on. Usually I order a 3 pack of the minis to go with it and wash it down with coffee. 800 calories later, I am a happy girl. For the other half he gets 2 morning chicken buttermilk bisquits and puts the chick filia sauce on it, pairs it with those mini hashbrown bites dipped in ketchup and a OJ. Lunch wise, chicken nuggets, waffle fries and fresh lemonade for me. Spicy chicken club for the hubsters. Always get bacon on your sammies. Bacon makes it better. Can't forget the dog, she usually gets some minis and a dog bone to go with it. Service here is always a pleasure. All of them are trained in providing exceptional customer service full of smiles. Grilled Chicken, Strawberry Shakes and Kids Eat Free Day Thanks to yelper Ben G (http://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=-4viTt9UC44lWCFJwleMNQ) and his enticements in a late night discussion regarding meat, bread and Chick Fil A, he shared his review with me. I hate eating fast food. I woke up this morning craving it and tried pushing it off. Nothing else was open and I found myself at this location on Tustin Avenue. I have been here in the past and the manager and staff are friendly. I have also seen that on Tuesdays or Wednesdays kids eat free in the evening and it is a total madhouse. It is totally fun to order food and watch all of them run around. They have a guy dressed up as a cow who is constantly under attack by grabbing hands, kicking feet and boogie fingers. I find it very entertaining to see him being attacked. It is better than watching TV. My favorite items here are the grilled chicken sandwich with no sauce. But, Ben G made me get the chicken in the sweet buttery biscuit item. Yummy. Strawberry milk shakes..Yummy. I have never had bad service or bad food at this location. So, I would like to tip my hat to the owners/managers for providing good service and a place for little kids to hang out while giving the parents a break from stress and financially for the free food. There aren't very many healthy fast food options, but I think Chick-fil-A is doing their best to change all that. With different menu items that offer grilled chicken, I'm feeling much more optimistic about eating fast food again! As I was looking at their menu last week, I thought "Is it possible to find something with fewer carbs that tastes good?" I ordered the grilled chicken salad and was thoroughly impressed. With carrots, tomato, tender chicken, and croutons on a bed of lettuce, this was one delicious salad! I also really like the chicken strips with their amazing Chick-fil-A sauce, delicious chicken noodle soup, and their chicken sandwich are really good too. Theservice here is great as well. When we go through the drive-thru, the staff isalways friendly. The last couple of times we went to this Chick-fil-A, Tiffany was working at the window and was so polite and helpful. I've heard they have a great breakfast menu too. We definitely plan on going back and trying their breakfast items soon! read more
