I live in Virginia and received an email confirming a pickup order placed at this location, a charge of $39 that I did not authorize. I contacted the restaurant promptly to report the fraudulent transaction and request a refund. Since it was a gift card that was on my account I could not do a chargeback. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing they could do. A basic verification, such as cross-referencing the name on the order with the individual who picked it up, would have been sufficient to identify the discrepancy. Instead, resolving this matter took four days of follow-up. The manager was consistently difficult to reach and failed to return calls as promised. When I escalated the issue to corporate, I found no option to speak with a live representative. My email inquiry received only an automated response, with no further follow-up. This level of customer service is unacceptable, particularly when dealing with an unauthorized charge. I hope management takes steps to improve both their fraud handling procedures and their responsiveness to customer concerns. read more

Comment is not for all subways but for this particular location, as I don't know if they're franchised. For the past week, they've been promoting specific 6 inch sandwiches for $4.99. I enjoyed a couple last week with no problem. But I come in today around noonish and I'm advised that those specific sandwiches now are capped with a three veggie/one sauce limit. That is the first time I've heard limits on what you want on your sandwich at a subway. And they don't carry olives, which fails when compared to a nearby subway less than a couple of miles away. read more

Don't use coupons at this Subway. I tired to use a coupon for a footlong combo that included small drink and chips for $9.99. The employee tried to charge me $11.79. I told her it should be $9.99 plus tax for drink only because I ordered it to go. I asked for a manager and they told me none was working. I said call a manager and they did, but they said that is the price. If you don't want to pay that price then no sandwich. I've been here a few more times and my recent visit had a young girl crafting sammies and she changed my tune on this place. Picked up a Turkey, bacon avacado with swiss cheese and Honey mustard. Along with the Spicy Italian and swiss cheese. Both sandwiches were made correctly with all the added condiments. Sandwiches stayed together and tasted great. COVID times, still allows self serve drinks. Great because I really like a specific ice to drink ratio. When I return if the two younger employees are working I'll know I'm in good hands. It's ok. They often make mistakes on my sandwich when I order online. There seems to only be one employee working at any given time.

I literally had the worst experience here.. placed an online order through the app, it charged me 3 times and when i went to pick it up and they accused me of not placing the order or placing it at wrong location and trying to scam them... I showed them address and order and the charges and the owner starts screaming at me. I definitely know I raised my voice back but I was infuriated at this point. Almost 45 minutes went by and the owner is telling me to pay a 4th time or he's not making the sandwiches. Normally I don't get Subway when at home because my kids don't like it and always prefer Jersey Mikes. On occasion when I do I come to this spot which is unpredictable with service. A lot of the times when I come in I get ladies working and boy are they not friendly. They don't greet ya coming in, make the sandwiches sloppy and seem pissed. However, there has been good service when the guys are working. As for the food well it's a sandwich and since I always order the same thing, Black Forest ham on jalapeño bread, it's good. Apparently the crew at this particular Subway doesn't give a frack about seeing to it that their own customers do the same, based on my two visits here. During visit #1 a few years ago during a weekday lunch hour, I asked for a Veggie Delight with spinach. mustard and two slices of pepperjack cheese, my default sandwich selection since 1998. After my placing my order with maximum clarity and friendliness -- I'm in customer service as a living, FYI -- he bimbo-ish staffer who'd kept up a nonstop chatter about this, that and the other thing with her fellow sandwich linemate didn't hear a word I'd said, going ahead and slathering the bun with full-fat mayonnaise, slapping a handful of white lettuce resembling Easter grass from a kid's Easter basket on top, and asking if I wanted any tomatoes. "How's this?" she asked, grinning and holding the concoction up for my certain delight ... right? Wrong. It was all I could do to keep steam pouring from my ears in exasperation. "I'd said I wanted ALL vegetables, with spinach instead of lettuce, and NO mayo," I pointed out. "Oh. OK," she said, sauntering over to toss away the partial sandwich. (Apparently she wasn't merely totally inattentive, she was plenty hard of hearing, since I made sure to give her the directions in a super-clear, fairly loud voice.) In making this second sandwich, she'd put a few teeny-tiny leaves of spinach on the bun and ask, "Is this OK?" Lady, I'm not a three-year-old tyke who hates spinach: I'm a grown woman who's eating for health and, dammit, needs her five-plus servings of veggies each day! No kidding here: She took at least four minutes preparing my sammy -- an item that takes the folks at my two terrific local Subways barely a minute and a half to make. (FYI: In case you see a thin, pale-skinned woman with a waist-length black ponytail in the sandwich-making line, that's her. Be sure to BE VERY PATIENT AND LOUD.) But that painstaking experience was downright wonderful, compared with the beyond-egregious experience that made me choose to take a pass on this particular Subway once and for all ... About a year and a half ago, I passed by here for a super-late lunch, at about 4:30 p.m. My sammy of choice for the day was my usual: a six-inch Veggie Delight. With absolutely NO customers here, I stopped in to order my sandwich ... and ended up on the receiving end of some of the most memorably AWFUL service in my life. The fuchi-faced thirty-something man with a mop of thick dark hair, clearly the manager of this site and admitting to such after "making" my sandwich, gave me some serious attitude about my asking for -- gasp! -- six slices of tomatoes. Acting as if I'd walked into the Subway as if I were preparing to rob the place, the guy's face twisted into an expression of sheer horror. "I can't give you those extra slices!" he scolded. "If I did, I'd lose money!" Well, sir, I sure as hell haven't seen many other customers here asking for veggies -- many, in fact, refuse tomatoes completely -- so what's this crap about THREE FREAKING EXTRA SLICES OF TOMATOES putting you out of business? And what the hell does this craptacular attitude have to do with, ahem, "eating fresh"? No wonder the reviews here have been so poor so far. If I ruled the world of Yelp and made it possible to award negative stars, this brutal excuse for a Subway would earn a minus-15 rating. read more
