I've noticed a decline in quality during my recent visits to this location. I typically order the chicken and veggie bowl, but the last few times, the vegetables have been nearly raw, and the chicken has been extremely dry, almost crispy. It appears that the chicken is now pre-cooked and stored in catering pans, which likely causes it to dry out over time. I remember when the chicken used to be freshly grilled and added straight into your bowl, it was always hot, tender, and flavorful. Unfortunately, that level of freshness seems to be missing now. I really hope this franchise considers returning to its original preparation methods, where meals were made fresh to order. I had my well done chicken with all vegetables and no rice sugar. I was greeted and when i was about to order I noticed there wasn't any chicken cooked? The chicken was thrown on the grill right away with about a 20 minute wait but that was ok with me i just wanted some good grilled chicken for dinner. I use to love this place and gave it a 5-star review for a long time...but that is definitely not the case anymore. Previously it was clean, the management and staff were nice guys always smiling and very friendly and professional. I just went in, that'll be my last time, and it was dirty, and the girl working the counter was not only unfriendly but plain rude and unprofessional and also slow. First time this happened I let it slide cause you know, they were busy and maybe didn't have time to look at the quality they're putting on their food. But this time after opening my bowl and seeing that they forgot my fork and sauce (I work medical and right now with covid we have to eat lunch in our cars or outside and I only get 30 min lunch) AND then seeing this I kinda just got fed up. I kindly called them to tell them that they gave me a rotten avocado and the gentleman on the phone told me it was because it oxidized. I never knew an avocado can oxidize this bad in 4 minutes. I came to get some lunch with a friend and we both are disappointed, the food was not there and the drinks tasted like cleaning supplies. They were also cleaning up even though they close in two hours and the mood was off too it was just a girl and a guy and they looked like they were about ready to leave. They also kept mopping wherever we walked through which I thought was weird and they didn't give us our cups, so when we asked they told us to grab them ourselves. They weren't rude, but they were not welcoming either. I just felt like I was getting in their way. It also smelled like chemicals in there I'm assuming from all the cleaning they were doing. I was picking up my order tonight when a total entitled, self centered, whiny customer named Andrew was throwing a tantrum. A grown man throwing a fit! The workers I believe it was Jared and a young girl with a butterfly tattoo (forgot her name sorry) handled it very well. They both stayed calm and collected. I have been coming to this restaurant for many many years and even though it is sometimes not very clean I try and understand that maybe there are occasions where all falls apart. However aside from the food and cleanliness, what I think is very important to have is polite people as servers or in my case order takers. I have been noticing a decline and today was my last time at that restaurant. There is this Hispanic girl there that just hates her job. She has the most terrible attitude I have encountered in a restaurant like this. Does not even bother to look at me in the eye, didn't apologize for letting me wait there for close to 4 minutes while she was looking at me and when I asked for the sauce behind the counter she told me "get it yourself " I've had enough. I understand that this person and many others have this attitude because they feel under pays but guess what. You are overpaid with an attitude like that. Being polite to other is not necessary a matter of " I give what I get paid for" being polite should be a general behavior towards every civilized individual. This is was the first time i've ever tried food at Flame Broiler and it was a pretty pleasant experience. When I first arrived with my boyfriend, it was pretty empty but the staff were quick to be friendly and help us with our orders. I gave their mini bowl with rice, veggies, and organic tofu a try and I actually found it pretty balanced. Not too heavy even with their magic sauce. My boyfriend ordered the regular bowl with half and half, and I tried a little bit of the meat and it was pretty decent. However the major con I felt was the price for the food we ate--we paid $14 dollars for one small and medium bowl with no drinks, just cups of water. While the food was definitely healthy, there wasn't all that much flavor to justify the price. The service was great though, hence the 3 stars. read more

This is my favorite Flame Broiler! The owners are both the most friendliest guys and truly value customer service and quality meals. Their chicken is always done right and not at all "gristly". They will even customize your veggies to your preferences. I have used their catering services and they are more reasonable in their pricing model than other locations. The food was just as expected and it was a huge hit with our crowd! Meanwhile their prices have gone up (what hasn't though) the quality remains consistent. The quality is ok, just what you would expect. The veggies were fresh but the chicken tasted weird to me. This place had good reviews and a good star rating but some things cannot be overlooked. I went in and waited for my meal to be prepared and noticed a few things that are of concern. For starters the cook with the jheri curl was not wearing a hair net OR gloves while cooking. The girl at the register was not wearing gloves either. This appears to be a brand new location for the chain and if this is the direction the chain is taking then unfortunately it's time to stop supporting them. I've been eating Flame Broiler for years and have always loved the simple menu , great taste, and quality food. For the past few years i've noticed that while the quality of the food and the flavor remains the same the price continues to increase and the quantity decreases. The reason i bring this up is due to the format this new location (New style sign and layout) uses . They have prefilled containers of their meats and they now use something i never expected to see at a chain that previously offered great food at a reasonable price... A scale. Their new policy is to literally weigh out each scoop of meat to ensure they're giving you the exact minimum acceptable amount possible. I can definitely understand this practice from a business point of view , and I would totally be okay with it, but the price of your food isn't low enough to make up for this obvious and blatant greed. It's clear that flame broiler hasn't recognized there is a direct competitor offering the same products at quantities / prices that more accurately depict the current cost of Chicken and Beef , or the fact that their list of locations is increasing rapidly. I believe their success to be due to the recent shortcomings of Flame Broiler. If the Flame Broiler corporation (Or perhaps Franchise owner) ever decides to go with the old laid back format the company used to be known for. These are only the nicest people you would ever want to meet up. The restaurant is new and clean as a whistle. It is really nice and the guy even put a little extra in each bowl. They have a great system of rewards so that if you order a lot here you get free stuff. I am trying to eat really healthy so I have the tofu no sauce all vegetables with a little bit of brown rice. And I've lost many pounds because of it.
