Wonderful service got some great hard workers that do their best and fresh food. The ambiance was also clean as well

The food was good - flame broiler is flame boiler, so if you're coming here, you already know what you're getting. This is my neighborhood's local flame broiler and I'm glad that we have one because it's pretty reliable. Stopped in around 3 PM today to get a late lunch - there was seemingly only one person on the shift. No biggie - the place wasn't busy and my order was very simple. The young lady who attended me, unfortunately, was angry, impolite, and unkind. Obviously I don't expect too much small talk if I'm just gonna order my chicken bowl, but there was something clearly wrong with this person, and it was affecting her ability to do her job well. (She was probably upset about a shift change over or something and was taking it out on me.) I've been at this location before and sometimes employees seem a little overworked due to short staffing and a high volume of orders - unfortunately that's no excuse to not be at least polite or behave like a human being to paying customers. Good chicken bowl w/ avocado tho - she didn't ask if I wanted green onions and I thought maybe she'd include them as default...she didn't. Sad. read more

Got white mean bowl white rice n veggies and green onion. Service ok. Clean. Quality ok. Prob won't be back. Thanks

Located next to Planet Fitness. The parking lot is pretty busy. Staff members are friendly here. Sometimes it can get very busy at the store. I suggest you order ahead in the app for either curbside or pickup. Food is great. Sauces are self serve. There is some seating inside. read more

I've noticed a decline in quality during my recent visits to this location. I typically order the chicken and veggie bowl, but the last few times, the vegetables have been nearly raw, and the chicken has been extremely dry, almost crispy. It appears that the chicken is now pre-cooked and stored in catering pans, which likely causes it to dry out over time. I remember when the chicken used to be freshly grilled and added straight into your bowl, it was always hot, tender, and flavorful. Unfortunately, that level of freshness seems to be missing now. I really hope this franchise considers returning to its original preparation methods, where meals were made fresh to order. It made a noticeable difference in both taste and overall quality. read more

The employees are so rude . It doesn't matter how kind you try to be, they seem really unhappy and take it out on the customers.

The food is good and has affordable price. I like their chicken, no antibiotic. Service was quick and friendly. Space was small but very clean and organized. Would definitely come back. read more

I ate lunch here yesterday. Went right at opening. No other customers were there. Got two chicken bowls, spent over $20, no drinks, no extras. Took it to go. It was the worst lunch I've ever had there. Will not be going back, EVER. Rice was old and stale, chicken was old, hard, stale, chewy, - Ugh. Just Awful. I want a refund! read more

Simple and healthy so I love going here. Quality is always good, service is good, and they're always pretty accurate with the wait.

I am a fan of Flame Broiler. Our visit last week was just okay. The food was not that hot. The employees on duty seemed disinterested. One had his head down on the counter as we were eating inside. The food was still good. read more

I had my well done chicken with all vegetables and no rice sugar. I was greeted and when i was about to order I noticed there wasn't any chicken cooked? The chicken was thrown on the grill right away with about a 20 minute wait but that was ok with me i just wanted some good grilled chicken for dinner. I read the reviews here but i had no problem here and the place was clean and the workers here were very polite. Nice quiet dinner. read more

I use to love this place and gave it a 5-star review for a long time...but that is definitely not the case anymore. Previously it was clean, the management and staff were nice guys always smiling and very friendly and professional. I just went in, that'll be my last time, and it was dirty, and the girl working the counter was not only unfriendly but plain rude and unprofessional and also slow. Sad to lose this place as a go-to for a good quick bite since it's so close to home but it was honestly awful. :( read more

First time this happened I let it slide cause you know, they were busy and maybe didn't have time to look at the quality they're putting on their food. But this time after opening my bowl and seeing that they forgot my fork and sauce (I work medical and right now with covid we have to eat lunch in our cars or outside and I only get 30 min lunch) AND then seeing this I kinda just got fed up. I kindly called them to tell them that they gave me a rotten avocado and the gentleman on the phone told me it was because it oxidized. I never knew an avocado can oxidize this bad in 4 minutes. I just told him it would be best to just maybe peep on what they're giving out to help any future patrons avoid this annoying AF situation The girl behind the counter was very sweet but it sucks im giving up on my go to lunch spot because of continuous nuances like this. read more

I came to get some lunch with a friend and we both are disappointed, the food was not there and the drinks tasted like cleaning supplies. They were also cleaning up even though they close in two hours and the mood was off too it was just a girl and a guy and they looked like they were about ready to leave. They also kept mopping wherever we walked through which I thought was weird and they didn't give us our cups, so when we asked they told us to grab them ourselves. They weren't rude, but they were not welcoming either. I just felt like I was getting in their way. It also smelled like chemicals in there I'm assuming from all the cleaning they were doing. I will sadly not be coming back to this location. read more

I've been coming here for years at this point and the food there is nothing short of amazing. I always feel full and satisfied especially with their tasty magic sauce. I always happen to visit when the manager Cora is working and she has given the most phenomenal service I've seen. She's quick, professional, and very friendly. Always serving with a happy voice and enthusiastic work ethic. If you're ever looking to visit a flame broiler definitely give the one on Tustin a visit next to planet fitness. read more

If you Ike getting ripped off, this is the place! We got 2 bowls using their buy 1 get 1 free coupon and I got 2 pieces of broccoli, 2 slices of carrots, 3 pieces of cabbage and a fairly small portion of beef and rice. This location was disappointing for sure. Not a friendly or approachable staff and environment was so dirty. The drink station and dining area felt like it hasn't been cleaned in months. read more

I was picking up my order tonight when a total entitled, self centered, whiny customer named Andrew was throwing a tantrum. A grown man throwing a fit! The workers I believe it was Jared and a young girl with a butterfly tattoo (forgot her name sorry) handled it very well. They both stayed calm and collected. I not only am proud of the staff for not letting a jerk get them down but they provided excellent service to me and my food was delicious! Keep up the great work and you'll keep the quality customers around! read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for many many years and even though it is sometimes not very clean I try and understand that maybe there are occasions where all falls apart. However aside from the food and cleanliness, what I think is very important to have is polite people as servers or in my case order takers. I have been noticing a decline and today was my last time at that restaurant. There is this Hispanic girl there that just hates her job. She has the most terrible attitude I have encountered in a restaurant like this. Does not even bother to look at me in the eye, didn't apologize for letting me wait there for close to 4 minutes while she was looking at me and when I asked for the sauce behind the counter she told me "get it yourself " I've had enough. I understand that this person and many others have this attitude because they feel under pays but guess what. You are overpaid with an attitude like that. Being polite to other is not necessary a matter of " I give what I get paid for" being polite should be a general behavior towards every civilized individual. I can't imagine anyone thinking this attitude is good for business. I don't recommend this restaurant any longer. Spend your hard earned money where you can be appreciated. Food is basic read more

Only putting up the stars because the service was good. We got two regular chicken bowls. Just veggies. No rice. Our bowls were 2/3 full. Or should I say 1/3 empty. Very disappointing. And our veggies? They were chopped up very small. Broccoli? It was only the stems. We were really excited to have this Flame Broiler open up. But probably won't be back. Too many yummy chicken bowl places around that feed you more for less. read more

Flame Broiler - Just small chopped up veggies. Mostly broccoli stems. Disappointing. (Carrots were moved to my hubbies bowl). - Korean Near Me - Orange, California

This is was the first time i've ever tried food at Flame Broiler and it was a pretty pleasant experience. When I first arrived with my boyfriend, it was pretty empty but the staff were quick to be friendly and help us with our orders. I gave their mini bowl with rice, veggies, and organic tofu a try and I actually found it pretty balanced. Not too heavy even with their magic sauce. My boyfriend ordered the regular bowl with half and half, and I tried a little bit of the meat and it was pretty decent. However the major con I felt was the price for the food we ate--we paid $14 dollars for one small and medium bowl with no drinks, just cups of water. While the food was definitely healthy, there wasn't all that much flavor to justify the price. The service was great though, hence the 3 stars. read more

This is my favorite Flame Broiler! The owners are both the most friendliest guys and truly value customer service and quality meals. Their chicken is always done right and not at all "gristly". They will even customize your veggies to your preferences. I have used their catering services and they are more reasonable in their pricing model than other locations. The food was just as expected and it was a huge hit with our crowd! Although I moved away a year ago- I happily drive past several other Flame Broilers in order to give my business to this location. read more

I have been a fan of flame broiler ever since I tried it years ago. It is yummy fast food without the guilty conscience. Meanwhile their prices have gone up (what hasn't though) the quality remains consistent. The quality is ok, just what you would expect. The veggies were fresh but the chicken tasted weird to me. The staff here was very friendly and made funny jokes. He brought my order to me which was different than most FBs. The restaurant was clean and has plenty of seating. The parking lot is big with plenty of parking as well. read more

This place had good reviews and a good star rating but some things cannot be overlooked. I went in and waited for my meal to be prepared and noticed a few things that are of concern. For starters the cook with the jheri curl was not wearing a hair net OR gloves while cooking. The girl at the register was not wearing gloves either. Upon me getting ready to eat I noticed they charged me for broccoli a 75 cent charge. The bowl wasn't even filled to where it should have been and the rice portion was very minimal. Probably won't return to this location. read more

Always fresh and always friendly. I appreciate the fact that they measure your protein. It's helpful when you are watching your calories.

There is a different flame broiler located directly across the street from my work and I drive to this location that's out of my way instead. This appears to be a brand new location for the chain and if this is the direction the chain is taking then unfortunately it's time to stop supporting them. I've been eating Flame Broiler for years and have always loved the simple menu , great taste, and quality food. For the past few years i've noticed that while the quality of the food and the flavor remains the same the price continues to increase and the quantity decreases. The reason i bring this up is due to the format this new location (New style sign and layout) uses . They have prefilled containers of their meats and they now use something i never expected to see at a chain that previously offered great food at a reasonable price... A scale. Their new policy is to literally weigh out each scoop of meat to ensure they're giving you the exact minimum acceptable amount possible. I can definitely understand this practice from a business point of view , and I would totally be okay with it, but the price of your food isn't low enough to make up for this obvious and blatant greed. It's clear that flame broiler hasn't recognized there is a direct competitor offering the same products at quantities / prices that more accurately depict the current cost of Chicken and Beef , or the fact that their list of locations is increasing rapidly. I believe their success to be due to the recent shortcomings of Flame Broiler. If the Flame Broiler corporation (Or perhaps Franchise owner) ever decides to go with the old laid back format the company used to be known for. The format that invites you in for quick, low cost, and less unhealthy meals (THAT ARENT WEIGHED ON A SCALE IN FRONT OF ME TO ENSURE THE BARE MINIMUM IS PROVIDED) then i'll return. The reason is that Flame Broiler is the only chain / restaurant that has mastered the teriyaki sauce, in the form of their "Magic Sauce". read more

I ordered a regular bowl with chicken he asked if I wanted veggies I said yes, he asked if I wanted avocado I said yes. After paying I noticed the avocado was $1 extra.
