Kentro Greek Kitchen serves some delicious food. Food that warrants 4 or 5 stars. Went here for date night and got a chicken pita and a lamb sandwich. Both are fairly priced, come with a generous portion of their signature "kentro fries," and taste pretty good. The service is quick and servers are friendly and reliable. The interior is nice and the lighting is cozy, the vibe is chill and it isn't the busiest place. The only gripe I have with this place is when I was seated, I noticed quickly that the cups and plates that were put on the table for us were dirty and not washed very well. There was food stains and crumbs, and I had to ask for another cup for water. It didn't sit right with me. Would I recommend coming here? Absolutely. It is great food for a decent price and a good sitdown place. Their fries are phenomenal and addictive and the service is amazing. I just can't look past the hygiene and cleanliness when giving it a rating.

Amazing Greek food! I saw all the amazing reviews on Yelp and I had to give this place a go! I ordered my food to-go since I was in a time crunch. That could have impacted the quality of the food a bit. I get that not eating it fresh/ right away could change the experience somewhat. However, my food was still great. The veggie pita wrap was fantastic!!! It was so fresh and hearty. I loved all the veggies and hummus. The pita bread was so fresh! The French fries were piping hot and had a nice flavor. Service was great! They were quick with making my food too. Ambiance was quiet and I was the only one in the restaurant. This is a great spot for Mediterranean food!!

I was perusing yelp to find ideas for a date in the fullerton area and I stumbled upon this place. We went during lunch and I would say that this is a great place to have a 2nd or 3rd date as it's relatively quiet despite being in like the heart of downtown fullerton and the interior is immaculately clean and modern. I myself got the lamb flat bread with the kentro fries. Now for context, I was somewhat under the weather the day we went so take it with a grain of salt, but I would say that the flat bread was pretty decent for the price. My recollection was that the pickled red onions were definitely present in the flat bread. Almost to the point where it was fighting for control of my taste buds. Once you order at the cashier and seat yourself, they'll get you your order relatively fast; however, it might be because we went during non rush time but I think they can be more mindful of the needs and wants of the customers as they were generally behind the counter until some of us had to be more vocal to get their attention Parking wise, downtown fullerton is surprising convenient, it's next to the metro station so there's plenty of parking in the plaza behind it, public parking lots as well as relatively easy street parking too if you know where to look.

PARKING (4/5): Parking is usually free during the day, just check the signs. A big lot, but does get busy during peak hours. FOOD (5/5): I absolutely love this place! Their food is on point and healthy in my opinion. I've tried almost everything here and I'll always come back. One of favorites in downtown Fullerton! AMBIANCE (4/5): It's a fast casual restaurant. You order at the cashier and then find a table and they'll bring your food to you. SERVICE (3/5): It's usually pretty empty when I come here, they are quick to bring out the food, but I've noticed once they do they don't check on you at all. You have to go up to the front/register to ask for anything you may need.

Kentro is located in the heart of downtown Fullerton on the southeast corner of Harbor and Commonwealth. There is plenty of parking in the lots behind the restaurants on this corner. The entrance is on the rear parking lot side of the building. The restaurant has a nice modern feel. Seating is mostly tables but there are also a few half booths. There is a black granite-topped bar with stacked stone below, which gives the space a classy look. Upon entering, there is a food menu on the wall. Proceed to the register to place your order. There is also a drink menu on the wall behind the register. They give you a number to place on your table and your order will be brought out when it is ready. I ordered the lamb pita and it arrived at my table pretty quickly. The pita was very soft and pillowy. There was a good amount of lamb inside, and the vegetables were extremely fresh. The feta cheese stood out and highlighted an excellent pita. It came with a huge serving of their fries which were thin and crispy with a great seasoning. I hadn't dined here in years, but after this meal, I'll definitely return sooner next time.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and wow was it great! The host greeted us so nicely, you just order at the register and choose where you want to sit. They have a huge menu selection but we tried the octopus and the Spanakorizo. They were so so flavorful! The octopus was so soft not chewy or hard at all! The rice had great lemon flavor. The food was delicious. Wish there was more of it!! It is a bit pricier I would say but so worth it! Will try the desserts next time !

I was very disappointed with my lunch, I ordered the Yemista, the tomato was raw and warmed up with rice inside. I waited about 30 minutes to get my dish and my friend was already finished with hers or I would of sent it back. The fries were not fresh and greasy refried. I let the waitress know that yemista was horrible and no acknowledgement or offering to make a new one. The rice was good.

Thoroughly impressed with the service and food at Kentro Greek Kitchen. Had my first dine-in experience and couldn't be more satisfied with the meal. I tried out their lamb burger with a three chromo salad for my side. Blown away with the perfection, fell in love, already desiring another. The quality is second to none, pure perfection in the flavor. The salad was honestly a unique choice but a perfect side to go along with the burger.. The staff handling the counter and bringing out the food were perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable of their menu, solid recommendations for this rookie.. Plenty of indoor seating, very clean restaurant. The owners of Kentro Greek should feel like heroes with what they provide society.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY. Out of all of the Mediterranean places I've been to, this place is by far the best one I've ever tried. I absolutely love so much of their food. Some of my favorites include the manouri bread, the baklava frozen yogurt, and the mousaka. I thought their eggplant dip was a little bitter, but it was still good. The ambiance is also super beautiful inside and perfect for a date or even for a group celebration.

Lamb Pita, Greek fries, and Spanakopita. Delicious.

But where Pita Hot sets itself apart from those places is the community. When you walk in, you're greeted with smiles, a question about how your day is, and if you've been there a few times, a quick "how's the wife and kids?" Although some people may see the price tags and wince, they do not skimp on portions. They will fill your plate to the absolute brim, give you one huge pita, and send you on your way. The flavors on the food are nothing to scoff at either. The hummus, tabbouleh, and beef skewer are absolute hits. Flavorful bites with the perfect amount of balance between the acidity of the tabbouleh, the light and rich hummus, and the meatiness of the beef. The shrimp skewer is tasty as well but not something I think I'd get again. The rice pairs well with everything, and as I've mentioned before, the humongous pita they give you is delicious as well. A three skewer plate is enough for two people! All in all, Pita Hot has been around this long for a reason. Their business model and recipes are tried and true. Overall, 9/10.

I got a seat with a bit of sunlight coming in from the window and that felt like the perfect touch. Avery is so kind. She immediately mentioned the Soup of the Day and the blend for the herb water and I knew I had to get both! They rotate both out every single day depending on what they have on hand, which is a great indicator that they source their ingredients fresh. The soup was puréed eggplant with a coconut milk or cream base and it was the creamiest eggplant dish I'd ever had in my life. Very smooth, no seeds. I didn't even know eggplant could get to that consistency. It's a beautiful soup and I would come back just for that. Arabic tea was not as strong as I'd had in other restaurants but for a nice dining place like this, I think it's good that it wasn't so bitter. Maybe it's also because I dunked a whole packet of honey in mine beforehand Beef stew was great. There were only a few beef chunks but if you're a fan of the vegetable you're choosing (I love zucchini so that worked out well for me), then it's a perfect portion for one. I can't believe I've just been passing this gem behind for so long! Will definitely come back with some company next time around.

I agree with the criticism that the protein options can be limited. You aren't going to be getting filet mignon kabobs for lunch. But their chicken options, their fried fish filet, and their gyro meat is not bad. If you are looking for the premium kabobs, there are many Mediterranean options in the area that you can get that. What makes this place truly worth it are their delicious salad options, their warm, house made pita bread, their abundant options of spreads (hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic sauce). The multiple options for mediterranean salads are really what I crave from here.
