    So fresh and delicious!

Everything tasted so fresh and healthy. Chicken kabobs were so flavorful. Don't sleep on this place

Actually very impressed by the flavor and value of this Greek spot! Counter service is fast and they bring the food to your table as well. Beef/Lamb Gyro Plate - definitely tastes more beef than lamb but still flavorful, hummus dips is garlicky and smooth, salad is very fresh, fries are thin crisp cut and not too salty, pita is pillowy soft, and rice is cooked well Baklava Frozen Greek Yogurt - the menu picture made me order this dessert and it did not disappoint, think of a plain tart froyo at your local spot with honey and semi-sweet baklava pieces mixed throughout Will definitely be back!

Second time here and we love it every time! The protein is always flavorful, rice is the perfect texture, and the sauces complement the dishes so well. The only complaint I have is that the pita bread the second time around was very thick and more chewy than I remember. It didn't take away from the meal though and we'll definitely return.

Good food and portions, friendly service, clean interior and willing to accommodate my allergies. Will definitely return!

    Cleared.

Friendly, inviting, and helpful staff. The food makes up for its longer wait time, and the ambiance is cozy despite tables that need fixing. Efharisto!

So I decided to check out Pita GR while I was out in Brea today. The place had plenty of parking right in front and looked clean inside. I got the Street Lamb Gyro which came with fries. The gyro was a little on the small side for the price and the fries were decent. The quality of the food was just ok. I might give the Beef Gyro a shot next time instead of the Lamb maybe. Overall, just an ok experience.

I came here and ordered a chicken pita. It came with seasoned fries. The interior is nice and the staff were friendly. The pita had your choice of white or dark meat, I chose white. It can with tzatziki, red onions, tomatoes and french fries inside the pita. It tasted good if I came back I would like to try the frozen yogurt with baklava.

This place markets itself as "inspired" authentic Greek, which should tell you something right away -- because it's definitely not authentic Greek. The braised lamb was extremely salty -- so salty that I couldn't taste the lamb at all, only a wall of salt that numbed my mouth. The fries tasted frozen and generic. I was glad I got the sauce on the side for the gyro because it was very commercial-tasting and not worth using. The zucchini chips were actually good, and the avocado in the gyro was fresh and green -- probably the best part of the meal. But overall, the food was more "commercialized Mediterranean fast food" than Greek, and the flaws outweighed the positives. I won't be coming back.

Came here for the baklava and it was absolutely perfect. They have a unique presentation by having it as a roll. I felt like it was a generous portion for about $5. It was very tasty with plenty of filling! If you enjoy the flaky pastry, this may not be for you. I did notice that they have several salads which looked good. They have a line where you walk up to order. The lady at the front was very nice and the ambiance was a casual feel with a relaxed environment. I will for sure be back.

Oh my gosh Pita GR is THE BEST. We tried it for the first time today and loved it. The food was excellent, everyone is so nice, and the inside is cool and clean. The hummus trio was so good. So fresh and the pita was nice and hot. We got the regular sized fries and it fed both of us. We also got a gyro plate and it was tasty. It fed 2 of us and gave us a lot to take home. We will definitely be back :)

Fell in love with Greek food after visiting Greece, especially the Pita Gyros, so I was excited to try Pita GR which is newer to the area. Good service from the cashier out front as she was friendly and patient as we were deciding what to order. Regular Zeus Fries w/ Beef+Lamb Gyro ($13.50): Fries topped with gyro (or other choice of meat), tzatziki sauce, green onion, and feta. +$1 additional for onions, tomato, and peppers. Pork Gyro Pita ($14): The infamous pita bread wrapped around beef/lamb gyro, tomatoes, feta, chives, pickled red onions, and tzatziki sauce. Pita also comes with a side of fries. Chicken Gyro Plate ($17.95): Rice, meat, salad, pita bread, and hummus (or other side of choice). Good portions but was disappointed in most items except the meat. Was not a fan of the lemon zest pieces or lemon flavor for the rice, tomato pieces in the salad were huge, and the fries were extremely salty. Common denominator: food was overly salty (especially the fries) and difficult to finish + left us parched the rest of the evening. Would recommend asking for reduced salt when ordering. Located in the same plaza as Party City, located next to Smoking Tiger coffee.

The burger and the salad were both extremely salty and almost unbearable to eat. I think the cooks should use significantly less sauce and dressing. As for the zucchini chips, it was 90% batter and 10% zucchini. It would be better if the zucchini slices are thicker! It also took way too long for these to come out. I think we waited almost 30 minutes? The cashiers were extremely friendly tho!

Half eaten chicken kabob plate. Forgot to take initial picture.

Chicken kabob plate, chicken gyro plate, lil Greeks chicken kabob plate, with side of fries. Plate had a lot of food, they did not skimp on the dip portion size, chicken cooked well and flavorful, love the pickled onions on the salad, and kids said we "love love love the bread." Rice portion was also enormous, fries were hot and crispy. Only complaint is rice needed more flavor it was a little bland, but when eaten with the chicken or dip was still appetizing. Staff were nice too, but not overly talkative!

Staff was fine, washroom need to be checked more often since there was paper all over the floor and the hand washing area was completely wet as if some one had used it to bathe. It was amusing once paying the tab since the waitress selected the percent she wanted for tip and then proceeded to ask if I was ok with the amount, when I questioned it she then got nervous and said it was a company policy and again asked if I was ok with the amount. Well, no. I , as a customer should be able to select what I choose to leave as a tip. My question is if you are already selecting an amount why ask me as though I have a choice if when I question it you give me no choice but to select what you have already selected for me. And then you ask if I want to leave an additional tip. Why would I.

There's plenty of seating inside if you want to take a little bit of a break from moving around all day. The food here is great. I got the chicken souvlaki pita wrap, and my girlfriend got the lamb/beef gyro wrap. Both were really tasty. The meat in these is cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The pita is soft and the sauce is really nice and complimentary. We do wish there was a bit more veggies in these wraps, as the meat can get rich and overpowering at times, but other than that, no complaints. Nick's fries are your classic loaded fries with sauce, feta, meat, and green onions. Their fries taste great on their own, and even better in these. The feta does get a bit overpowering but its not a complaint for me... I LOVE FETA. Overall, my experience at Nick the Greek was really positive. I'd give everything an 8.5/10. 100% gets a recommendation from me and I WILL be coming back!

Bottom Line Up Front: If you like Greek food but don't want…read moreto pay big bucks at an traditional sit-down restaurant, Apola can be your yummy, budget-friendly alternative. The Food: Let me start by saying this is clearly an American take on Greek food, so if you're looking for super authentic food, look elsewhere. But if you're OK with a fusion, Apola will satisfy your Mediterranean craving. There are gyros (pita wraps), bowls, combo plates, and burritos (see, there's that American take I was talking about). All of them range in quality from average to really good. Though I've been here several times, I'll focus on my last visit when we got "the Works" pita wrap and a Greek salad bowl. For the Works, it comes with all the fixings, your choice of protein, and fries stuffed inside (yes, inside, not as a side). I chose beef-and-lamb gyro meat, which came in a huge portion. (Pro Tip: I pulled the fries out and got a "free" side. Of course , there's not a lot of fries, but enough to satisfy my fried food craving.) The gyro was big and tasty. For the Greek salad bowl, we also got beef-and-lamb gyro meat. Once again, they hooked it up with the quantity. Nice! The ingredients (tomatoes, cucumber, feta, etc) were all fresh and seasoned nicely. Side note: I do find it odd that they call this dish a salad bowl when it comes in a rectangular plastic tray. But semantics aside, it was quite good. I also ordered a fountain drink and got a Coke. It was nice a crisp with a lot of carbonation. Just the way I like it. It's not as good as the exclusive Coke blend at McDonald's, but was a close second. I have had some pretty watered down Cokes at other places in recent years. The Service: There were two young gentlemen working the last time I visited, and they were both friendly and knowledgeable. They even brought our meals to our table, which was a nice touch for a fast food establishment. The Setting: It's located inside the recently revamped Yorba Linda Downtown, which has revitalized the area and made it a pleasant place to hang out. Unfortunately, on weekends, it's hard to find parking sometimes. Fortunately we came on a weekday and got parking nearby. Inside, Apola is clean and tidy with roughly enough tables and chairs for a variety of party sizes. The Conclusion: Apola offers good Mediterranean-inspired food for a reasonable price (compared to other restaurants these days) -- just don't expect it to be 100% authentic Greek food. It's not perfect and not super cheap, but with the right expectations set, I plan to return on semi-regular basis.

Although some people may see the price tags and wince, they do not skimp on portions. They will fill your plate to the absolute brim, give you one huge pita, and send you on your way. The flavors on the food are nothing to scoff at either. The hummus, tabbouleh, and beef skewer are absolute hits. Flavorful bites with the perfect amount of balance between the acidity of the tabbouleh, the light and rich hummus, and the meatiness of the beef. The shrimp skewer is tasty as well but not something I think I'd get again. The rice pairs well with everything, and as I've mentioned before, the humongous pita they give you is delicious as well. A three skewer plate is enough for two people! All in all, Pita Hot has been around this long for a reason. Their business model and recipes are tried and true. Overall, 9/10.
