I ordered the kefta entrée, which came with pilaf rice, bread, garlic sauce, and one side, I chose the cucumber yogurt. The kefta itself was slightly bland and a bit overcooked. The portion was also on the smaller side for the price, so it felt like I was mostly paying for carbs and yogurt. That said, the rice and the yogurt were both delicious and definitely the highlights of the meal. I'm comparing it to Persian cuisine restaurants, where you typically get a much more generous portion of meat at this price point. Food was delicious. We got the double wrap that the server said that serves one person but it definitely is a 2 person meal. And the chicken shawarma was great with the garlic sauce on the side, and the tabbouleh was amazing. With the heaviness, a little bit of acidity goes a long way. If I had to reorder the double shawarma, I would maybe sub the fries with the tabbouleh because of how heavy and rich the wrap was. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of how hot the restaurant was. They opened all the doors but no AC. It almost was unpleasant to eat because of how hot it was. My husband and I had a lovely time here on a Monday evening. We've frequented this plaza multiple times, but just now stepped into Dvine. Right away, we were greeted with a friendly smile and given the option to sit where we wanted. I ordered the chicken shawarma with baba ghanoush while my husband ordered the kefta entrée. The food came out in a timely manner and we were impressed by the first bite! My chicken was so juicy and tender, full of flavor! The seasoning in the rice complimented the chicken well and I absolutely loved the garlic sauce. I could order a whole plate of that haha. My husband enjoyed his kefta, which is ground beef and lamb. He shared that he could taste the freshness and quality of all the ingredients that were used. We had such a wonderful first time experience and are already talking about the next time we're able to dine in again. Just tried D'Vine out and am in love! I'm really not a big lamb fan but this place made me one. The lamb chops and lamb kabobs are both juicy and have a light char flavor from the grill. My usual favorite, steak kabob, they also make very juicy and tender. Rice is addicting, and I love the baba ganoush, it's legit so airy and creamy from being whipped and the light smokiness is so refreshing and not overbearing. Really appreciate how many side dish options there are though and look forward to trying others. Lastly, have to call out the chicken shwerma pita pocket; that juicy flavorful meat is so satisfying and they give a great portion and the pickles balance it out and brightens up the overall dish. The sides are great along with their pita bread, garlic sauce and rice. I like D'vine but their meats always have room for improvement, on the drier side. This is the 2nd time I've ordered food and some of it tastes like the cleaning supplies you smell when you walk into a restaurant. The hummus had a nice flavor and wasn't too overpowering. It complimented the fried falafels nicely. I did add extra protein to my falafel plate. The shrimp that I added, was cooked very well. It had a good flavor and added more protein to the meal. I enjoyed the flavor of their rice too. Addicting really! Even my husband said the rice was so good haha Service was good for a to-go order. Had a craving for Mediterranean food and D'Vine was close by and looked appetizing. Went straight to their website and found the menu options and family deals. I ended up going for the swarma box that basically feeds 4-6 people. This was under $40 and through the website was an extra %10 off. I ordered for takeout directly from their site and it was ready in 10 to 15 minutes. Upon arriving, I got the attention of the server, and he helped me right away. The food was packed in 2 medium size catering trays; one filled with 4 large chicken swarmas cut up into 8 pinwheel slices, and the second tray full of seasoned batter fries. I told the server that the picture for the order included the turshi, so they made sure to add it to the order. The food: Chicken swarma was excellent. Perfectly tasty, and filling and such a good deal. The chicken was flavorful and the swarma sauce was not overwhelming. The lavesh wrap was crispy and not too greasy. There was so much food, and it ended up lasting my family two days. Overall, and good deal and meal choice for a small group who is hungry. A guaranteed crowd pleaser if you buy group meals. There is a Arabic family dinner for $40, but when you order this online it defaults you to order 2 making it $80. I guess not too bad considering you get 3 choices of meats, and a lot of side options. I'll have to try this out next time, and get another review out. We got two plates: - Chicken Shawarma Plate - Beef Shawarma Plate. Parking was super easy to find -- this establishment is located in a large plaza with lots of parking. We ordered takeout and got our food in 10 minutes. The food was packed with flavor and both proteins were delicious. My fav is their rice -- SUPER smooth and buttery. I only order takeout from here but every time i do come in the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant is clean and they have a nice outside patio with covers to provide shade. I tried their chicken and beef shawarma plates and it tastes delicious. Came in with my kid and some of his friends for his birthday and I was very pleasently surprised at the depth and variety to the menu. Since then, we have still been coming here regularly and enjoying both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is always wonderful. The food is spectacular. We love the sumac onions and cheese fatayer. The chicken and beef shawarma are both so flavorful. We also love the kefta. I love lamb and enjoy the tenderloin pieces and the chop. Really enjoyed this spot for healthy Mediterranean food. Chicken breast kabob is really tender and juicy, and the shrimp is also plump and yummy. The real star is the lamb kabob, which we saw everyone ordering and had to try ourselves. It's got a steak-like texture and char, without a strong gamey taste that lamb can have. We have eaten in the restaurant and taken togo, but nothing beats fresh charbroiled skewers hot off the grill to your plate. Came here with my sister for dinner and honestly, this spot blew my mind. I had the chicken kabob plate with a side of hummus, and everything on that plate was perfect ! The rice was flavorful, the chicken was juicy and tender, the garlic sauce hit just right, and the hummus was smooth and fresh. I also had a Jallab to drink and finished with a cup of Turkish coffee, which tied the whole meal together perfectly. Was in the area for work, and in the mood for mediterranean. When I entered, there was only had one table occupied, I was a little worried as it was noon. We celebrated my daughter's engagement at the DVine restaurant in Brea. We worked closely with Jamal, the owner who did an amazing job! We had the entire patio area to ourselves, for several hours. There was plenty of room for our 70 guests. The tables looked beautiful. The centerpieces were personalized and gave the tables the perfect touch of color. Jamal made sure we had a ton of food. We had appetizers on every table - hummus, baba ghanoush, Mediterranean salad, cucumber yogurt salad, beet salad, red cabbage salad, cheese fatayer, falafel, and cauliflower (my favorite). The food was served family style. It included chicken, beef,kefta, rice, pita bread and garlic sauce (my favorite). The food was served fresh, hot and tasted incredible. This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever had! The service was superb. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They kept all the drinks filled without anyone having to ask. We had extra room available for our arch backdrop, cake table and presents table. A special shout out to #Tropicana bakery in Downey for the most delicious Cuban cake. Another shout out to #luckyy_pop who did a wonderful job with our balloons. Lisa was easy to work with and did quality work. I would highly recommend her - find her on Instagram. We went to a terrible Mediterranean place on Friday and were craving some good Mediterranean food and this is one of our go to places. They have plenty of parking nearby, the restaurant is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere and food is great. One of my absolute favourite items is the babaganoush. It is so delicious and you can taste the roasted eggplants in it. I love lamb so I ordered the lamb kebab medium rare. Sadly I received well done. The waitress was very nice and asked how was the food, I was disappointed and was very honest by showing and stating that it was overdone. She offered to remake, but I said it wasn't needed and I would eat it like that just not happy. To be clear, it tasted good just tougher and not the temperature I prefer. I don't like wasting food so I rarely send it back. She went ahead and fired another round of lamb kebab. I was surprised when she brought it and it was delicious! The second round was cooked perfectly and it really changed my experience from an ok to a great! Which is what I expected when we got there as it always is great. Their rice is really good as well and their garlic sauce is really tasty! My bf wanted a baklava and didn't want to share a bite with me so we ordered 2.
