This time, I ordered the Protein Bowl with the Chicken Shawarma and all the fixings with: Saffron Rice, Baby Greens, the Classic Bowl Toppings, with the added Feta Cheese, Tzatziki Dip, and the Fire Hummus. It was all so delicious and the portions are very generous. I also really like their Fire Chilli and Dill Yogurt, which you can actually get at the self-serve area by the soft drink machine. Trust me, you will keep going for more! The staff are pretty friendly, I really like the young lady that's there from my first visit, but my recent visit not much interaction from the staff or really a greeting. We tried their beef plate (which is a up charge for beef) and their chicken wrap. The plate was about $20 and the wrap was about $15. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. They weren't super busy, had 2 folks working the kitchen, and 1 working the register. They did have folks picking up orders throughout so we understood there were more orders being fulfilled than for just the folks in the restaurant but, 20 minutes for casual cuisine is still too long. The true reason we come to the kebab shop is their sauce. The garlic sauce and cilantro sauce, addicting. You will want to drink this stuff. Overall, a good option for a quick casual meal. Everything was really good and I enjoyed the dill yogurt and jalepenio sauces with my wrap. The steak in the bowl was very juicy and tender. The only thing both me and my sister wish was better was the amount of meat given. In my wrap I felt like I was eating more greens than protein. Picky eaters have their personal preferences, so I understand why some gave one or two stars. This food chain is great at its customer service, especially guiding first timers. I would definitely want to come back with family and friends to get a great taste of fast making but fresh Mediterranean food! There are two kiosks for self-serve ordering or you can walk up to the front to place your order with a cashier. We did the latter and were greeted with a friendly welcome. Their menu offers wraps, bowls and plates and we decided to get a Bowl with Carved Rotisserie Chicken ($14) as well as a Plate with Carved Rotisserie Lamb Beef ($17.40). I got our order to-go and the food took a little under 10 minutes to prepare so I headed to their little sauce station to grab some of their Garlic Yogurt, Cilantro Jalapeño, and Chili Fire sauce. The garlic yogurt and cilantro jalapeno were my favorite of the bunch - if you like garlic, the former is especially garlicky. As for the food, I enjoyed my meal but the price felt stiff given the amount of food you get as the portion size wasn't anything sizable. Wraps and bowls do not come with a side and I was still left feeling hungry after my chicken bowl which I got with baby greens and fries as the base. Most of the other nearby Mediterranean places that have popped up around the area at least come with one side for a similar (if not cheaper) price. The chicken I got was flavorful, but some of the pieces I had were a bit on the drier side so having the sauces definitely helped and added more flavor. Overall, the food was standard and good, but I personally didn't feel like it lived up to all the social media hype I had seen leading up to it.
