I go to this PKG about once a week for lunch since it's close by. I usually order online and pick up times are as fast as 15 minutes sometimes. Pick-up is efficient because they line up all the orders ready to go at the counter, and there is always someone there to hand you your order. My favorite is caprese sandwich with either the cup of lentil soup, Caesar salad, or the avocado salad. I do like their kabob plates, but the portion is too big for just me, so I usually order a sandwich with the side. I've had their chicken wrap before, and that is also a good choice. I expected better from Panini Kabob. We decided to visit on Mother's Day, but the restaurant was completely overwhelmed by, or prioritizing, online orders. The place was packed with people waiting to pick up, while families looking to dine in were ignored. We waited an hour, not knowing when we would be seated, only to find out through our own inquiry that they were focusing on takeout. This is a relatively small location, but being that we got there right when they opened on a Friday - there was no wait and our party of 9 got seated right away. We got many dishes, from Iron Steak Kabob plate, to Lamb Kabob Plate, Koobideh and Salmon Kabob Plate. 2 people from our party weren't feeling for kabobs, so one opted for some pasta and another opted for a sandwich. Oh yes, and we got the Appetizer Combo which came with regular, edamame and spicy hummus along with Tzatziki, fresh basil, falafel and pita bread. Everything was delicious and soooo good! My stepmom and grandma opted to share the salmon kabob plate which came with an upcharge for them splitting the plate - but they each got to choose their own kind of salad and got their own plate. Oh boy where do I begin... Mother's Day is a super busy carry out day. Super awkward having Uber Eats and door dash drivers staring at us while we sat and ate. I never actually got to eat my food! I've been a steady customer of Panini Kabob Grill for over a decade. I've frequented the Irvine, Santa Ana, and Long Beach locations dozens of times with no issue. Today around 11:15AM I wanted to order the Vegetable Linguini with chicken breast added. At all other locations this is simply a $5.99 upcharge, the waitress told me it would be *$17* for 4 measly chunks of chicken. That's ridiculous as any other pasta dish would only be a $5.99 charge. She didn't think to maybe ask the manager or head of the kitchen if this reasonable request could be made. It was I pay $17 or go elsewhere... so I took my hard money and left. I will never return to this location. Also, the inside is super small and cramped compared to all other locations. The limited interactions I had with the hostess and waitress made it seem like they didn't want business. I wouldn't be surprised if this location closes up shop soon. The inside of the restaurant was hectic and none of the staff seem accessible unless you went to the front counter for each request. I've noticed the past few times I've ordered online through the app, dating back to 2022, no matter what time you place the pick up time for, they'll not have the order ready until at least 20-30 minutes after your pick up time. While waiting today, I saw a couple customers inquiring about wait times for to go orders and being told it would take at least 2 hours; definitely not worth the wait. My friends and I come here every week. It is the best food. Great portions and love that it's a scratch kitchen. We started going here over a year ago. Our first time we came in, a server named Savanah had our table. She was an absolute delight. The following week we were discussing the food and saying we wanted to eat it again, on our walk over we saw another Mediterranean restaurant. It was closer but we remembered we enjoyed Savannah so much so we continued down the block. She has been our server every week since. We specifically come in for her! First, the hummus platter we ordered did not have all the hummus as stated on the menu so they gave us extra of another. No problem. They brought our food and both our plates were missing the grilled vegetables. Our plates looked nothing like they did the last time we were there and we ordered the same thing. My husband told the waiter that our vegetables were missing . He brought out a grilled half tomato, 1/4 of an onion and 1/4 of a green bell pepper. Really 3 pieces of vegetables?
