I ordered the chicken kabob which was simply phenomenal! The food was fresh and high quality. The chicken itself was super flavorful, juicy, and had a nice char on the outside. The spicy hummus added some good kick and went well with the rice and salad. One of those meals that is healthy, nourishing, and the perfect portion so you don't feel bloated/heavy after. Three words: What The Fck!!! The chicken- maybe it's my taste buds, but mmmm no. Needs mmm flavor, yes. Let's say flavor. The steak is soft and a lil bit on the salty side for me. I do prefer the steak over the chicken. The drinks are good, the mint is refreshing and the strawberry lemonade is delicious. I say for the amount of food, just go with the meal. Or maybe you try the skewers yourself. But for the price idk. I say nope. I know I know what you're going to say" but you're at the packing house, of course it's going to be expensive." The whole house as is isn't as popular as I once remember it back in 2016 but there are still many different places to choose from. We chose this and it was honestly the best decision ever. Stopped here as was taking "to go" from several other places at "The Packing House". Got two wraps, Falafel and Shawarma as I like Med food and have always thought I needed to give this place a try The good - the people behind the counter were pleasant and appeared to want to please the customer. Service was quick and the "to go " order was correct. Price is not out of line with others in the location so not a driver on future visits. That said, the food here was not terrible but also not a compelling reason to use this place as the "go to" for med food. Bottom line is that of the two wraps the Falafel was average and a little mushy but the Tzatziki sauce was quite flavorful (ask for extra when ordering). I have had Falafel all over the middle east and the best was at a small place in Jaffa, Israel. This didn't measure up to that and was not crispy on the outside and the texture was grainy. The other wrap, Shawarma was not well seasoned although they did put an adequate amount in meat in the wrap. I may give this another try and get a plate to see if it was the falafel being wrapped inside the Pita that made it so soft but the shawarma was a strike out as there are other local places that do it well read more

These falafels were very dry. They also tasted... nutty? Really enjoyed my meal here. Everything tasted fresh, from the hummus, Steak plate and the chicken shawarma was amazing. The young man at the register welcomes you and checks in on you like family. It's on the second floor of the Anaheim Packing House (right in the middle), and I'm so glad my boyfriend and I decided to try it today. I got the steak plate, and everything on it was sooo good. The steak was super flavorful, the rice was perfect, and the spicy hummus was incredible. The salad was fresh, lemony and made the whole plate feel really balanced. I also ordered a gyro wrap, and honestly, I could've eaten two. It was super tasty, and everything inside tasted really fresh. And of course we had to try baklava for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending -- flaky, crunchy, and not overly sugary. Overall, I was seriously impressed. They totally got me on the mint lemonade drink, ask for a sample if they don't already offer you one because damn that was delicious!!! We got the chicken shawarma wrap to share, It's big. and some baklava on the side with fries and mint lemonade. The chicken on the shawarma was a little on the dry side BUT when you get it in a wrap with all the fixings it was a perfect balance to the creamy and crunchy veggies inside that it added a different layer of texture that I absolutely enjoyed! The fries were standard and delicious with ketchup. Now. THE BAKLAVA. OMG. As someone who has had the good homemade stuff the one they sell here is AMAZING. It was so crispy yet sweet and nutty and had a perfect balance, where it wasn't too oily or too much of one ingredient. The crisp was crispy and the honey on it was so perfectly sweet. Nice guys behind the counter and I really wanted to like the food more. I just couldn't. It wasn't terrible, but just seriously not worth the price. I got the gyro loaded fries and it was pretty pricey. Almost $20 after tax and just had a slew of issues. First problem is the size of the container for the fries. I get trying to use a small container, but it makes it hard to get the fries, meat and sauce at the same time without making a mess. If the container was bigger you could spread it out more. The sauce was a little too thick and it really just needed something brighter in that dish. It just felt extremely heavy and not a super dynamic flavor and I couldn't get through the whole thing. Some of the other dishes sounded good so maybe if I was in the mood I'd give it another shot with something else.. read more

This is a very nice eaterie in the Anaheim Packing District on the upper floor. They have middle eastern food, however when the saw the Gyros listed, my eyes lit up. One of my favorite things to it. They actually have schwarma wraps, plates, etc., but they are very similar to the Greek gyros. I ordered the lamb/beef gyro plate which comes with the meat, rice, salad, and hummus, and my friend got the chicken schwarma wrap with fries. Both were very good and also large portions. I thought that was quite nice since not everyone is used to this type of food. My girlfriend and I split a Steak Kabob plate for $21. It had rice, pita, hummus, salad and steak. Their pita isn't the thick fluffy naan you might be used to but still yummy. Their rice, hummus and salad is typical to what you'd expect for Mediterranean food. For me, the star was the steak. Cooked perfectly medium rare and juicy. Their garlic sauce accompanied it deliciously. All in all, I think it's a good place to try when you're here. We approached the menu and he offered us samples (Strawberry Lemonade, & Lemon Mint drinks, they were delicious, we then stared at the menu, amazed at all of the choices and flavors they had, torn between the chickro, chicken shawarma, & beef shawarma. Anaheim Packing House Districts was one of the first foodie courts that popped up in Orange County. When it first had it's grand opening, it was a gathering for many people like myself, but as the hype died down, the place started to attract returning customers. A lot of business left and new new ones eventually came in. It got revamped a couple of years back and now it's become a thriving destination for many tourists and locals. I brought my wife to show her Anaheim Packing District for the first time a while back. We went inside to look around on what will be our appetizer will be for the day. We walked by this spot and I knew I wanted to eat here because I was craving for a Beef Shawarma. I saw the ratings on Yelp but I didn't want that to sway me from ordering here since the ratings weren't great, but sadly enough, I should have listened to them. The shop didn't have anyone in line so we got to order right away. That should have been a red flag since it was a Sunday at 12pm and the entire place was packed except this shop. I really wanted to give them a chance to prove me wrong but I was pretty disappointed. I placed my order and it took about 7 minutes to get my order. When I had picked up my wrap and took a bit into it, it was a bit underwhelming. The beef wrap was bland and lack seasoning. The pickled veggies were a little too much since there wasn't a savory component to compensate for the tangy taste. It didn't have the garlic sauce and hummus ingredients that I was looking for. The side of fries was probably the only tasty thing that I had. You won this round my fellow Yelpers...I probably got the food on a bad day but it left a bad taste in my mouth.
