AT&t has raised the price many times over all the years. The last was to not recognize veterans and servicemen with a discount and removing the discount for direct pay. Guess the CEO needed a bigger bonus this year. We've had them for many years and we just got sick of it. Dorn was our attendant at spectrum and he was terrific. about price, phone selection and explaining everything. We highly recommend them.

(NOTE: I did not find out who I was talking to until AFTER I returned my equipment, so I figured I was just speaking to a random employee) The purpose of my visit was to return equipment after a recent move. When I arrived at 10am and checked in, there were quite a few people ahead of me so I decided to make an appointment and come back later. I arrived at my appointment time and had trouble checking in. After trying for a few minutes, I asked the nearest employee, Christian, for assistance. Christian seemed annoyed to help and was condescending during the entire interaction. I explained I was having issues with the kiosk and showed him the confirmation for my appointment. He asked if I tried the confirmation number or my email and I told him I had tried both. Christian then attempted them for himself as if I was lacking the skills to do this simple task. After he also failed with the kiosk, Christian tells me that I must add myself to the wait list and have a seat since there was nothing he could do to fix the problem with my appointment not showing up. My face literally said everything my mouth wanted to say out loud to Christian and his poor customer service attitude. Luckily after waiting 20 minutes or so, I was helped by another employee who was very pleasant and gave me the name to the terrible employee I had interacted with as I came in for my APPOINTMENT! And to Christian, may you wake up every day to have the day you deserve!

I came in on a Wednesday night of last week and to my surprise available and not super busy. As I was there, just before the next hour, more clients swarmed in. -Hilaria, Derek and Brian were pleasantly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Love seeing the same faces. Today, this week, I went in and met with Elizabeth who was very attentive, accommodating and supportive. This team works really well with each other. I am a very happy client! Huge thank you and job well done

I am a woman of a certain age and do not like to make a big deal of things. He told me that I simply needed to reorder from This location and the previous order would be canceled automatically at the end of the day. I said thank you I could do it myself at home so that he could assist the next person. He said no, I will assist you. It's your turn and I am happy to assist. He did and was patient and professional and really took good care of me. Whoever raised him: kudos to you!!! Whoever hired him: kudos to you!!! He is a winner. I have bought cars from people who were mediocre salesmen to say the least. A simple internet box and I get red carpet treatment. FANTASTIC!!! Thank you so much young man!! Well done.

Apparently before we moved to the high desert, Frontier Communications bought a lot of what had…read morebeen Verizon infrastructure (wiring, poles, switch networks, etc.) as well as presumptive customer base, almost nationally. I gather that for the most part Verizon just wanted to get out of that business for some reason. In theory I am fine with that concept since I fired verizon for consistent overcharging for cell service and selling me products I did not need. But I did not have internet nor TV cable service from them. I am kind of glad I did not, but I was not that impressed with Comcast Cable either, where I used to live. Once moving to the desert and after signing a contract with frontier in 92345 zip code for $55 per month (basic cable TV and internet) I discovered that Frontier never provides service for that amount. "Sur-charges" including "broadcast TV" amount to $25 and the router and DVR each cost about $17 per month. Apparently the field service people discourage using your own router/modem since it is convenient to blame that unit for anything that goes wrong. At least comcast did not expect everyone to rent their routers. In any case my current billing base rate is $126 and I do not recall having made a contract which approved that amount. Maybe it is their "new" price after the 2 year introductory rate or something. An "introductory price" is basically an excuse to bait-and-switch and appears to be a common industry tactic. Meanwhile we have supposedly 200Mbit fiber optic internet service; never mind that "fiber optic" does not determine the SPEED of the connection (rather the endpoints do) and other reviews I have seen suggest similar displeasure with "faster" gigabit-service which I assume is even more expensive and apparently does not deliver either. I did try to contact frontier about their deceptive advertising and exorbitant billing rate (and we have the cheapest cable TV service they sell), which is still priced beyond what it is worth. Obviously someone is making money. Engine net searches suggest that Frontier has actually been in chapter 11 since about 2010 and despite that continues to provide service. Obviously they do not have to do a very good job of it, since they have virtual monopolies in the areas were cities have made deals with them I guess. Our local alternative appears to be Spectrum but I do not think their reputation is any better. I would be interested in other opinions about this set of issues.

He was friendly, fast and very professional. I live in a two-story home and Chris was up on the roof no problem and had my Starlink installed super fast. He also helped me with the setup process so I could connect my devices. I highly recommend Empire Satellites. Chris was great and the price is a great value for the service Empire Satellites provide.

Original quote given did not specify a "covered cable" install. I would have declined right then and there. My router is located inside a room with no exterior walls. 2. I never "insisted" on using the mount that I bought. If it was indeed not suitable (which of course was not the case), it should have been explained exactly why. All this particular mount needed was a small block of 2x4 behind it, to clear the edge of tile roof. But Chris was too lazy and rushed to think it through. Instead, he claimed that it needed "an extension" (nope, it didn't), and proceeded to butcher my brand new fascia by driving six (!) lag bolts through the mount at haphazard angles. When I re-mounted the dish properly myself a few days later, I was appalled at the damage that was inflicted. 3. He is obviously not used to his customers checking the quality of his installs. He came up with "oh, it's not finished yet" line only after I showed him the photo of the shoddy work he has done, got up the ladder myself, and demonstrated how wobbly the mount still was. Before then, he kept insisting that the mount was installed perfectly. 4. Before he left, he did offer to install his "professional" mount for $100. It was NOT free of charge, as he claims. This sleazy used car salesman's last ditch upsell was the final straw for me. That's when I knew I had to post my review. I have nothing more to say - it is up to the reader to decide who is telling the truth. If you still decide to hire Empire Satellites to work on your home, be prepared to live with the consequences.
