Needed a evo 8 tuned for Arizona pump gas, I've been around a lot of speed shops but this is one of the most well managed shops I've been to. Everything is straight forward, straight to business. Everyone was focused on their work task and not once did I see someone standing around fiddling on their phone or taking excessive breaks. Worst experience ever charged me over $7000 to do a head gasket Never told me the price, even though I kept asking they are rude here and very cocky. They might do a good job but at a unrealistic price and very poor communication hard to get a hold of an ego bigger than the world. There are lots of shots to choose from I want to take your car here if you do get a firm price upfront and hope you don't get gouged along the way. read more

Got my 07 Civic Si tuned here. Absolutely amazing team! I brought my car in with full bolt ons and running on base map. Turned out my car was showing bad AFR readings, diagnosed to a bad O2 sensor, they replaced it, and it was good to go. Tony did amazing work on the tune and answered all my questions in regards to current tune and future ones. UMS is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy team. So impressed with these guys!!! My vehicle is a 7th gen Maxima. James was extremely courteous from the moment that we got started. He helped me research the best components for my ride. The end result was and installation of the following: Stillen: body kit, intake, pulleys, grounding kit, oil cooler, drilled rotors, sport break kit, sway bar, strut brace CXJ: block off plate, thermal manifold spacers They then dynoed my car increasing its power by 20%!!! (see pics) Nothing goes without glitches, which is where these guys are so amazing. Stillen took forever to ship parts. James called them over ten times and got the supervisors involved to get the parts shipped. They stored my old parts well. When a special bolt went missing on one of my expensive rims, they duplicated it with precision - still not sure how they did that!!! It looks identical. When a noise appeared after the strut bar went on, they fine tuned it to make the noise stop. When they were working on that, they rechecked the other components and found a tiny oil leak from the Stillen oil cooler. Instead of hiding it, they immediately got on it and are trying to get Stillen to replace the part free of charge. I was so happy with the results of their work that I decided to go further adding a borla cat-back, which the guys at UMS took care off quickly and professionally. My car turns heads everywhere I go. Scheduled an appointment to get my GTR32 tuned two months out back in July 15, 2021 with an appointment date of September 17th @0900. I showed up at the appointment to my surprise that my appointment was canceled because I didn't respond to an email asking if I wanted to move my appointment forward. I intended on keeping my original appointment. Brendan Tervovan assumed that because I did not reply to move my appointment up that I didn't want my original appointment and canceled it. In our original email contact I provided my phone number in the event they needed to contact me and I never received a phone call. I took a full day off of work and had to make a 100 mile round trip for a canceled appointment. Bad business! read more

This place is amazing and they do great work. Tony is the man. He tuned my evo x so well that the throttle feels just like it did when my car was stock. I come here for all of my maintenance instead of the dealer now. There is no comfort like knowing you can pay for something and get it done right the first time. A bonus was that they let me go back and take videos with my phone as they were doing the last few dyno pulls. They have made a customer for life with me. If you are about reading 1000 reviews before coming to this place then maybe it isn't for you, they are old school they get their work done and they get it done RIGHT! My car has been a project nightmare but the guys at UMS tuning helped me to straighten it out. I've had nothing but troubles with my car from the start due to the crappy sales company selling me mismatched and refurbished equipment. This was my first time taking my car here to get some small work done and inspection. And I'm sure they are a good group of people, but I couldn't find the front of the shop since it's all the way in the back of other large buildings. To make matters worse, there were three cop cars blocking what looked like their front entrance. So the cops re-routed me to the rear of the building. So I saw an open mechanic garage with some guy working on a car. I pulled up, not all the way pulling in, stuck my head out my window, just to ask where was the front of the building. Before I could even say, "hi", who ever was there was extremely rude, waving his arms, yelled at me which sounded like profanity, something along the lines of "in the f*ing front!! Read the sign!!" like I was stupid not knowing where the front of the shop was. I was shocked at that attitude and drove off not wanting to take my car with a shop that has that type of attitude. Could have been the Monday morning blues for the guy, but yelling at a potential customer who's lost not able to get to the front of your shop with cops infront of your shop is just 100% rude. read more

I took my 68 mustang with a new 347 that I spent a year building to UMS for break in and dyno tuning. They worked through the bugs that come with a new build and were very patient as I ran around town getting some replacement parts. The tuning was flat out black magic - Tony is a wizard. In short order he was able to pull ridiculous numbers from my engine with a very safe tune. I'll be going there with all future engine builds. Pricing was more than reasonable. went to ums tuning after 600 $ my ran like shit the eng lite is on becouse thay unpluged my o2 sensor and whin i left i had to turn around and go back becouse my car was makeing a bad sound in the back got there and the back tire was comming off he said he did not do it and went and got a jack put the tire back on and i told hem the was bullshit i am the only one that ever works on this car he said sorry and he would get new lugs nuts tryed to take my car back for a retune and fix it right this time he wanted to charge me 600 more $ what an ass hole read more
