I had Mufflers & More build a full 3-inch exhaust for my LS-swapped 1980 Camaro using a Pypes X-pipe kit, dual Borla XR-1 mufflers, and several V-band clamps. They also fabricated side exits through the rear quarters just behind the rear wheels. Overall, the quality of the work is good, and I'm happy with how the exhaust turned out. The only minor issue was that they left more of the exhaust hanger material than necessary, but they were trying to finish the job at the end of the day so I could pick the car up before they closed. I was able to trim it myself without any issues. They are definitely on the pricier side, but the workmanship, customer service, and overall experience were worth it. read more

God bless Mufflers & More. Not sure how I passed this place when looking for a shop to install my exhaust. I wanted a Corsa Extreme Cat-back exhaust system installed on my 19' Dodge Charger RT. I needed to hear that v8 engine scream. I stupidly drove nearly an hour to North Phoenix just for a shop there to botch my install, but these guys in Mesa took care of me. I called, received a quote and was scheduled for the next day. I came in and Sean was able to install this system in an hour and change by himself. He did what 3 guys in the other incompetent shop failed to do. This install required cutting/modifying parts of the stock exhaust to transfer over to the new exhaust and he did it with FINESSE. So I got recommended to this shop in the East Valley by another car enthusiast I met at a Coffee and Cars meet. So I gave them a call. On the other end of the phone I was greeted by a gentleman named Shawn. I explained to him I had a 2013 Kia Optima with A 2.0 turbo I wanted a cat back 3" with resonator and dual 3" tips on. He greatly and professionally explained everything out to me so I agreed to go on down and speak with him. The shop was very clean and organized no tools and hazards just laying around. I was met by Shawn who introduced me to Cole his worker. They brought the car inside up on their lift to see what we needed. I should them I already had 2 - Vibrant mufflers and the resonator. We agreed on the price and work which was very reasonable and very fair. Shawn ordered the tips and 3 inch y pipe and I agreed to return the following week. The following Tues I was extremely excited to get my new exhaust on this car and lose the factory after 300 K miles on it !!! Yes, 300k on my Factory Kia Optima Sx. I got there early and they took my car in immediately, I hung out for a bit and watched and chatted it up. Real great guys here. As you can see in the pics, there work is awesome. My car sounds fabulous! I couldnt be happier. Wish we could've made it up a little higher thou I gave to be so careful over obstacles on ground. The resonator is a dagger. Thanks guys!!! I have had a rattling sound for a couple of years, yes I'm one of those people how just prolongs everything. Finally it was getting to the point where it was just embarrassing. So, I finally brought it in to a muffler shop. I chose Mufflers & More from their great reviews, and plus it's just right down the street from me. I knew it was either a heat shield, or the catalytic converter. I was hoping it was just the heat shield, since I was not in any mood to pay for a catalytic converter. I dropped it off first thing in the morning, I received a call just before noon saying it was finished! They told me it was just the heat shield, and they just tack welded at two spots. Total price was just $40.00. They had every opportunity in telling me the job was more expensive, heck they could have said the vehicle needed a new catalytic converter. But they were very honest about this, and since they were. I will definitely bring all three of our vehicles in for any exhaust issues. Customer for life!! read more

I showed up early and he pulled my car right in and had it fixed before the original appt was even reached. Very professional very friendly. I brought my 2012 Chevy Cruze in because in its previous life, both catalytic converters were cut out and the exhaust was patched together with poor welds and an exhaust leak. The check engine light was on because there were no O2 sensors plugged into the system. I came to Mufflers and More because I knew there would need to be some custom welding involved and they had high reviews for exhaust work. When I got the car back, the exhaust looked very professionally done, and the engine light was out! I was really impressed with their work. However, when I drove it away, I noticed a constant plume of white smoke trailing the car. I called Mufflers and More right away and they said that it was normal for new catalytic converters to smoke like that, and it should go away in a few days. After a few days, the smoke did not reside, and the engine developed a knock. Thankfully, I wasn't far from home when this happened and I was able to shut the car down before and permanent damage was done to the engine. After it cooled down, I looked it over and checked the oil on the dipstick was bone dry. The car had lost about 3.5 quarts in 75 miles. While the car did have an oil seep underneath before, I never had to top the car off with oil between oil changes before taking it in to have the exhaust worked on. I called Mufflers and more again and told them the issue, and they agreed to take a look at it. I topped the car off with oil and dropped it off. They found the issue and told me that one of the oil cooling lines to the turbo was cracked and quoted me a price to fix it. The next day I called them back and kindly suggested that the close proximity between the oil line and the front catalytic converter might be an indication that the line was accidentally damaged during the process of installing the new exhaust. The man I was speaking to started to get defensive and said that he didn't want to argue on the phone (to which I agreed) and told me there was no way that they damaged the line when it was in the shop. I declined their service to fix the line and came later in the week to pick up the car. I did some research and decided that I could replace the line myself, so I bought the line for $35 and replaced it in a couple of hours and saved the $220 that they were going to charge me. The process of removing and replacing the line involved removing the front catalytic converter because it was directly blocking access. When I removed the line, I found that underneath the heat shield there was a crack that resembled some sort of pressure or blow on the side of the catalytic converter. Granted, I will say that the plastic line was quite brittle, but it is further evidence that something minor caused critical damage to the part. While it took me a few hours with no ramps and minimal tools, I'm sure it could have taken them less than an hour to make it right at little cost to them. As I said before, their work was professional, but the customer service I got for the money I paid left me very disappointed. I'm very thankful that no permanent damage was done to the engine that I'm aware of! read more

This company installed a catalytic converter for me through my insurance almost 2 years ago. The converter is faulty and I had no way of knowing this until I get my emissions every 2 years. When I took it to this company to have them rectify it they want to charge me because it only comes with a 1-year warranty. That makes no sense at all this company is horrible for not standing by their work. That's all I'm asking is for them to stand by their work and they will not do it read more

Long story short don't order exhaust kits online... I needed a custom cut and bent piece for my Jeep to make the exhaust work... called a dozen different place who said they couldn't or wouldn't cut my piece. Not only did the guys at Muffler &More do the work in about 5 mins but didn't charge me a dime! I will only bring only bring my vehicles here ever again. I found this place just doing a random search. Man I am so glad I found them! I called earlier in the day to see if they did drop offs or appointments. For my issue since I had an exhaust leak they said I could drop off on a Thursday and pickup Friday. So I did just that. The woman that answered the phone was who checked me in. I didn't have to repeat any info I already gave her over the phone as she had it already all written down and organized. I left my truck around 3PM and before 4PM they had already called with a diagnosis and a quote to approve. In my case the last owner did a shade tree mechanic fix to the exhaust and they said they could have things reconnected and welded properly for $150. I though this was very fair. I got a call to pickup the truck around 9AM. This place is fantastic. Quality work done for a fair price by very honest people. Don't hesitate to bring your vehicle here. read more
