When I picked it up it was $108.00 with tax. I gave him my debit card and let him know to take $94.00 as it's all I had and was going to give him cash for the rest. Rick then said, we are good, $94.00 well take care of it. What a great guy he knew I was struggling financially. He let me slide for the rest of the money. In this day and age of bad service and people taking advantage of you, It was beyond refreshing to work with Rick and his crew. A few years ago, I brought my Genesis to them and they replaced the muffler for me. A Couple of weeks ago while driving on the freeway there were remnants of a tire in the middle of the road. I could not swerve to avoid them. I ran over pieces of the tire and ever since my muffler was making funny noises. I took the car into Mesa Muffler this afternoon. They put it on the lift and told me that a metal bracket was bent due to the impact with the tire and that was what was causing the noise and vibration. They told me nothing was the matter with the muffler and it did not need to be repaired or replaced. With that said, they straightened out the bracket and the car was fixed within ten minutes. When completed, Rick would not let me pay for the work. He said Merry Christmas! Wow! He made my day... I highly recommend Mesa Muffler. Mesa Muffler did an outstanding job reworking my Chevelle's 2-1/2 inch tailpipes from turn downs to straight out exits at the bumper. I was referred to this shop since I needed my manifold cat replaced and was looking to get some custom exhaust work done. Considering that is what this shop specializes in I was shocked when they told me they wouldn't touch my car because of the work it would take to replace the cat and then go on to tell me the custom exhaust work I wanted was impossible and they can't do it at all.. When in fact I know the work can be done because I have seen it (thus why I asked for it) and the second shop I went to had no problem! Not sure what the issue is here but your better off taking your business elsewhere. Also, I understand not wearing a mask when your in the shop working but not wearing one when interacting with customers and in the front office? A lot could be better here! read more

Overall was a good experience, pretty hands free just left it with them and they let me know when it was done. I got an exhaust pipe welded back together and was a reasonable price for sure, my only issue that i've had is my exhaust still has a leak to it. The gentleman who appeared to own this shop was not the most personable which was sort of crappy, but the work of this shop speaks for itself. I'm rarely satisfied with work that is done to my car and these guys did a kick ass job. Welds looked great, position of the tips looked great, everything was great. No issues as all. Probably the only place I'll come to get exhaust work done. Only annoyance was that the guy wouldn't put my car on the lift so I could see the work, he told me I would have to look at it myself. My car is lowered and he said he only had one lift that could work. It was being occupied at the time. Perhaps he could use a camera phone to take picture? Oh well, quality work still. I was unaware that my son bought an aftermarket exhaust system for his car. When I saw the box in our house I told him that this is not a "DIY" project. He started calling around and Mesa Muffler quoted him a very reasonable price to install it. They completed the job faster than they estimated and my son was very happy. A few weeks later his car had to be towed and the process of putting it on and off the tow truck caused the new exhaust pipe to scrape the ground. After his car was repaired (unrelated to the exhaust) the exhaust system didn't sound the same and was rattling. We called Mesa Muffler on a Saturday and asked if they could take a look at it. They said to bring it in right now. They only charged us $40 to fix the damage caused by the tow truck. I highly recommend this shop if you need exhaust work! read more

I'm glad I found Mesa Muffler they helped me out of a real jam and fixed my car for pennies compared to what the insurance company and the dealer claimed I needed done. I drive an economy car and commute to downtown Phoenix during the week. I got rear ended on the 60 in a 4 car pile up and my exhaust system was damaged and vibrating against the car making a lot of noise. My rear bumper was also damaged. I wound up having recall work done on my car at the time and took it to Big Two Toyota and asked them to take a look at the exhaust. The Toyota dealer wanted $2,300 claiming everything after the catalytic converter needed replacing. Yeah, right. My insurance company estimator (who didn't put the car on a lift) said it needed $60 for a tail pipe extension and then a half hour labor to realign the muffler. Sounds reasonable. The at fault insurance company estimator wanted to total my car for the exhaust and the rear bumper. They offered me a settlement that wouldn't have gotten me into any kind of a reliable or mechanically sound car. I needed my car fixed. I read the reviews here for Mesa Muffler and knew this was the shop to go to. They fixed my car for $151. I feel like I won the lottery. I highly recommend Mesa Muffler as they are an honest shop and do quick work. They installed a new head pipe and fixed a bent hanger. Problem solved. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Awful customer service. The man up front was incredibly rude interrupting and questioning every single thing we already knew about the car without inspecting it first( was trying to inform him of aftermarket items on the vehicle). We were told the car would be done on saturday. Than when called for pickup time on saturday we were told once again they were behind and to come get it monday, monday comes around and we're told that they never got the go ahead to order the part? when that is the whole reason the car is here. We told the man up front we would come pick up the car until they had the part in hand because it has now been a week with no vehicle and no word about it. We come to pick it up before they close may i add. We walk up to the door and it is locked. Jo one called us and said we are closing early or anything. These guys are great. I was referred to them by a friend that owns a Challenger and they did a great job! I brought them my wife's 2005 Mustang GT convertible and they put on MagnaFlow mufflers, she loves it. It only costs me $340 before tax. I then brought them a 2019 Dodge Ram and they put on a single FlowMaster muffler for $240 before tax and it sounds like it should now, it is quiet on the highway, but roars when you punch it around town. I was so impressed with both cars, I decided to bring them my 1966 Mustang GT, they put on FlowMaster 40 series and it sounds amazing, it cost me about $440 before tax. In all cases, they were quick, professional and they get right to business. On my second car I bought them a dozen Dunkin Donuts and I think that brought my experience from them over the top. Use these guys, they're not pretty or cool, but they get the job done and done well. read more
