They got me in quickly, were incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in, and took the time to thoroughly check everything out. It turned out to be something as simple as a loose spare tire, something that could have easily been misdiagnosed elsewhere. What really stood out to me is that they fixed the issue right then and there and didn't charge me anything. That level of honesty and integrity is rare these days. As a woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating trying to find an auto shop you can truly trust. At Crawford's, I felt completely comfortable, respected, and confident that I was being treated fairly, no upselling, no pressure, just genuine help. Was told over the phone today by Ken the Service Manager that they don't match or beat prices, which is false advertisement, he said that was something that the marketing folks put on their website but they don't honor it. He said I was the first person in 5 years that had asked for prices to be matched from another nearby mechanic shop. He even said that the prices that they quoted me, that I should go to the other shop instead, was a $60 difference by the way. Was also told by Ken that I wasn't a good customer because I had only done one oil service with them in a year and a half. Will never give Crawford's my business and they're just another auto shop that's dishonest and takes advantage of their customers. Hard to find integrity these days!! read more

Brought in my Honda Accord for help with my AC not being as cold as before. They told me that it only needed refrigerant to be added so the AC recharge service was less than an hour but got overcharged for labor and materials because it came out to be more than twice what other shops charge so their prices are not reasonable. read more

I paid $1672 for Crawford's to diagnose and fix an "intake manifold" 15 minutes after leaving Crawford's my car broke down the same exact way it did before I brought it in... reference pictures. They claim is wasn't misdiagnosed yet it literally had the same exact thing happen. Then they beat me up for another $400 to fix the fan... which after speaking with 3 other mechanics are certain they misdiagnosed the intake manifold and it had to be the fan all along. No refund. No apology. They didn't even replace the fan for free after the misdiagnosis the first time. Beware read more

I was so impressed with my experience here. I live several hours away and initially had my car towed to a AAA garage a mile away when it broke down in the Valley. Ken offered to take my car when the AAA shop refused to source and install a cable that I ended up sourcing myself, and helped me locate a commercial tow truck to transfer between the two garages when, again, AAA couldn't get the job done. It took almost two weeks total to diagnose the issue, source the cable, move the car and actually receive the cable, and in that time, Ken was super professional and communicative about what I could expect. When the cable arrived, the labor was completed in less than one hour! It took AAA 48 hours just to make a diagnosis. They have a super convenient and secure phone payment link system. I would go back again. It's been a few weeks since my visit and my car is running perfectly. Details: I called ahead and was able to schedule a same day appointment. They were extremely nice when I arrived on site and also have a small waiting area. They also let me know that there was a coffee shop around the corner if I wanted to go there and wait as well. I came in requesting an oil change, cabin air filter change, and tire rotations. Before they proceeded with the cabin air filter change they told me they would check if I even needed it. That way I could decide if I wanted to proceed or not. I know a lot of other places wouldn't care to do that so I really appreciated that. Regarding Pricing: I called a couple other auto shops and dealerships and this was the best pricing that I got for an oil change, cabin air filter change, and tire rotations. read more

I brought my car in to get my alignment done and to fix my AC as it was blowing hot air. They did a road test and determined that my alignment was fine. Uh, ok? They replaced a part of the air conditioning and that did not solve the problem, so they told me that my compressor was bad and that it would cost $2k to fix. I declined this repair. So to summarize the "repairs" they performed, they did nothing to fix my alignment and replaced a part of the AC unit that did nothing to remedy my AC blowing hot air. My AC was not fixed and I had to pay for parts and labor for nothing. I then brought my car to another repair shop and lo and behold, they used an actual machine to determine my alignment was definitely off, so they fixed that for me. They also determined that there was nothing wrong with my AC compressor, but another part needed to be replaced. This other shop properly diagnosed the issues and repaired my vehicle. On top of not repairing my vehicle, Crawford's also left grease marks all over the interior of my vehicle and somehow lost one of my floor mats. They also broke my car key. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They deserve this poor rating and review. read more

AMAZING and HONEST service!! Took my dads old ford F-150 1997 there to get it repaired to running condition (I have no idea about cars) . I was so relieved to find a mechanic shop that doesn't take advantage of someone like me. They sent me a list of things that needed to be done with photos which I appreciated. I got a quick oil change done also and they did an amazing job on it. When I returned to get my car, a guy was happy about the work they've done. Joe will tell you need need just about anything in extras he can sell ya! Must be working on commission. Took my car in for a blown radiator hose. Joe call and said it'll be $300 for the repair. This is when he put on his salesman hat. We noticed all of your other hoses are in need of replacement, so that'll be an extra $400. We also noticed you don't have an oil change sticker, and both of your air filters are filthy and your wiper blades need replacing... Joe doesn't know, but I replaced my air filter a month before.... I've been using this business over the last two years. They have always done great work. Example would be my son's 2006 Honda that overheated and died. The car has over 200k miles on it. I've been going to Crawfords for about a year for regular maintenance, and feel comfortable going to the shop. I don't feel that they try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge of cars which is a relief to me. They usually have a next day appointment available for oil changes, and if they don't I have always been given the option to drop my car off first thing and it is always done in a few hours between other appointments. This is a follow up to the my review you see below. I was called personally by Drew this morning who is the owner of this shop. He explained to me in great detail how we arrived at this juncture and I accept his explanation as honest and forthcoming. He also offered to reimburse me for the alignment I had done at another shop. I have declined this offer as I would feel obligated to remove my negative review (this was never asked of me, just how I would feel), but it is my experience and feel it should be shared. However, after my conversation with Drew it would be highly inappropriate for me to say they don't care or don't back their work. We all make mistakes but not everyone has the desire or customer service to rectify them. The team at Crawford Motor certainly has the desire to make the situation correct. Considering I am the only one who has poorly reviewed this shop I am willing to say this is a one off situation and based on the customer service alone I will give this shop another opportunity to earn my business in the future. I came in with a slew of issues that were non-vital - oil leaking (older car), clicking when the car turned, and and electrical problem. Oil pan gasket was replaced and no longer leaks. Clicking is still there (couldn't find the source). And the electrical problem was fixed. Decent prices. Liked the offer to see old parts that were taken off and point to where the problem was on the car. Gives you a better sense that good work was done. They do offer a discount for making a review. However, the discount is only for the next visit. I wish that I would have known so I could have saved a bunch since this bill wasn't all that cheap. read more

We just had our oil changed while on a road trip from out of town and we came here to Crawford's because of all their reviews on Yelp. If we lived in town we'd come here for service regularly. Their oil change includes a REAL well baby check and tire rotation. Tires should be rotated every 2nd oil change so getting that done here simplifies things! They really did check our car out well and only found we needed a bulb replaced over license plate. Cost a dollar! Seem very reliable and honest and if we lived here we would definitely go back! read more
