I had a VERY disappointing experience with All Valley Car Care in Gilbert. I was told my Jeep would be repaired using factory/OEM replacement parts, but when another shop inspected my vehicle later, they found aftermarket parts that they identified as low-cost components, ordered from Amazon, rather than OEM. Considering I paid around $1,000 for the repair, I felt misled. Within a week of the repair, my check engine light came back on. Yesterday, I took my Jeep to another mechanic for further diagnosis. They explained that the ignition components installed previously had contributed to additional engine issues and showed me the parts they had removed. Needless to say, I was extremely frustrated after paying so much for the original repair. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this shop. I expected quality parts, honest communication, and a lasting repair, but unfortunately that was not my experience. read more

Chris is amazing. I had stopped once before in a panic as my car was overheating. He took a look and it was low on antifreeze and put some in for free! Later, my a/c was having issues and I brought it in. Original quote was best case scenario. Unfortunately it was a much bigger problem than I can afford. He was upfront and honest and even had a Lyft for me to go home while I waited. Although I could not get the service done, I was so, so impressed and grateful to Chris. I had a check engine light on that indicated a small EVAP leak. Replaced the gas cap myself but the light didn't turn off. I was resigned to pay for diagnostic to find the leak. He reset my light sensor even though he could've charged me for the test. Highly recommend. Honesty and integrity go so far in this business. God bless you guys. read more

Took my car in because of ancillary battery issues. Tried to sell me on $2,500 worth of repairs. Told them to only fix the ancillary battery problem, and they told me I had to buy a main battery as well for $400. I told them I wasn't going to pay $400 to replace a battery, again just fix ancillary battery, and I will take care of the main one myself. They then agreed to change the main one if I brought one in, so told them I would have my husband come with one. They then called my husband (who wasn't involved with them and had no connection to the car) to make sure he was fine with that. A few days later, my car stopped working in the middle of the road, so I had to have it towed to the dealer where I had to pay $200.00 because All Valley mis-connected or didn't reconnect the wires they disconnected when doing the ancillary battery. read more

Just look at the other reviews. This place has gone downhill over the past couple years. I have been a customer for four years but will be taking my business elsewhere. Five consecutive visits in a month span Feb-March. $2500 for my 2001 Honda CRV - it's barely worth that much but she has so much sentimental value and I wasn't ready to buy a new car so we fixed her up since I trust this place. Problem should have been fixed with the first $1700 payment but we needed another $800 a week later. They ended up firing one of their mechanics because he wasn't fixing things to code? No idea. Here we are at the end of June. I've driven the car less than 1,000 miles since the last repairs and it is having the same issues. New management and crew refuses to take responsibility for previous attempts and I have to pay another $700 to fix the same issue. Not happening. My car broke down on a sweltering hot Friday afternoon when all car shops were about to close. I was freaking out because my toddler was taking a nap in the car. It turned out that my battery had died and after a helpful humanitarian jump started it, I was able to drive it to the closest car shop which was All Valley Care Care Gilbert. They took care of the issue right away and my toddler even enjoyed playing in their waiting area. They even gave me a discount because we were waiting for a little while. We recently had this shop perform the removal and replacement of the fuel injectors in our 2017 Yukon. And after they initially completed the job, I had to turn around and take it right back because it wasn't running correctly. Turns out while performing the service they broke a spark plug wire. They finally got it running correctly but forgot to put the plenum cover back on so I had to take it back again. This service was performed in late spring this year. And last week the truck just started running poorly again. This time I took it to a different shop. Initially the cost of the repairs were going to be around $3500. And after beginning the work they discovered that someone had dropped a fastener into the intake plenum and down into the cylinder. The last place to have the intake plenum off was Gilbert Car care. This fastener caused catastrophic damage to the cylinder and cylinder cylinder head, raising the cost to $9000 for the repairs. I would never take anything to this shop ever again and I suggest that you don't either. read more

I took my Land Rover into Gilbert Car Care and when I picked it up it was not the same car! Every time I pushed on the gas it totally chugged and the timing was totally off. I took it back 2 extra times hoping they would fix it, which they did not! I ended up having to take it to the Land Rover dealership, who charged me $800 to fix the timing that Gilbert Car Care screwed up. I went back to GCC to let them know it cost me $809 to fix their mistake and the manager Tommy agreed to pay me the money that I had to spend to fix their mistake. That was a lie! I followed up for several months and Tommy kept telling me that it was in process... after months of this, he finally told me that they weren't going to cover their mistake. DO NOT COME HERE!!! All of the positive reviews you have seen were from the previous management company. As you can see with recent reviews (including this one) the new ownership and employees are absolutely TERRIBLE!!! After having my oil changed here, I brought in my Honda Accord to have the brakes done since the owner Michael offered to give me such a great deal. One of their employees said they "had" to replace the air filters because they were so dirty. Shortly after having my brakes done and air filters replaced, the car started having several brake lights come on (ABS, traction AND brake light) as well as the air conditioning working normal and then not working at all, frequently changing back and forth. Mind you, I have NEVER had a single issue before with my Honda at any dealership or shop UNTIL taking it into these MORONS. When we took it back for them to look at it, they denied any responsibility and claimed it was purely coincidental all these issues started to occur. Then said that the ABS lights were a safety issue that would cost over $1000 to fix. For all we know, it may only be a censor that costs $5-10 bucks to be replaced but the bottom line is that these guys had no business touching our car and after the fact, offered no ownership over the mistakes THEY clearly made. Words of Advice: DO NOT COME HERE! Save your money and even go to a dealership over these jerks. These guys do not know what they are doing! Just an additional update as well: Looking back on their report given to me for when they "replaced/fixed" my breaks, there was no resurfacing of the rotors (which my dealership later told me should have been done) which basically means they told me they would give me a great deal on new brakes but essentially slapped a bandaid on the rotors knowing that my brakes would get worn down faster which means I would have to take this back in to them sooner. Any legit shop would have resurfaced the rotors while replacing the brakes if that needed to be done. These guys were just out to make a quick buck and expect me to come back shortly after just so they could charge me more in the long run. read more

Horrible shop. Brought my Jeep Patriot in about 3 months ago because it started overheating. They kept in for the day diagnosed it. Informed me I needed a whole new thermostat housing compartment with hoses. We get that replaced . . All is well for a month. The problem starts reoccurring I bring it back to shop and after sitting there all day they inform me I need a new reservoir tank and that will stop my car from over heating. We get that done. A week passes and boom the car is worse. Instead of just random overheating the car won't even make it down the street without overheating. I call to inform the shop and bring it in for a third time! Worse then the first! The new shop manager informs me she does a block test and I have blown head gaskets from my car overheating. If the issue was resolved 3 months ago when I brought my jeep in for overheating the gasket head would have never blown. They have the jeep 3 different times for diagnoses and still couldnt resolve the issue. I will never come back here. Not to mention got my oil change else where instead of here and my new shop informs me that the old shop jammed my oil plug into the oil pan that I then Had to replace. This shop makes more problems then helping to resolve them. Never come here. read more

Avoid at all costs. I found this place by looking on Yelp and it looked really good. Although management IS nice/friendly and I do believe they wanted to resolve my issue (they could not), that does not makeup for the subpar work their mechanics did. I liked that this place is family owned and operated but in the long run I should've just taken it to the dealership in the first place. Shame on me for wanting to save time and money, right? If you do decide to come here, double check under the hood to make sure they closed every thing and put stuff back the way it goes. Even if you just took it for a simple oil change, they "check" to see if they need to up-sell you on anything but forget to make sure what they "checked" is put back correctly. read more

Update: under new management, and just as reliable and honest. My car has been struggling (dealership can't even figure out what's going on) but they have really been working with me to do whatever it takes to find solutions for the issue. They have been honest and kind to take off labor charges because the issue wasn't fixed, and I know they have spent at least a day looking at it and calling around for parts. I needed a couple of oil changes and we didn't have appointments. I called to some other shops in the area and no one could fit us in last minute. Mike, the service manager, was kind enough to work us in. My experience went as follows: 1. Oil changes range from $33-60. Obviously, coupons and mailers go out weekly for more reputable shops at half the price or less. I was willing to pay it because it was last minute. 2. After picking up our cars, my wife noticed that they rotate the tires with every oil change. Initially, we were thrilled! However, after driving the car less than 20 miles, one our hubcaps flew off the car and was run over. We have had the car less than 3 months and this was our first and only tire rotation. It wouldn't be a stretch to assume it was put on improperly. This, causing it to fall off while the vehicle was in motion. 3. Our second car had to be returned within 5 minutes of leaving the shop. I took it back to shop and they informed me that they did NOT properly thread the oil filter when putting it on. This took another 30-45 minutes. It would seem to me that this would be part of a good shop's checks and balances throughout their oil changes. In all, we will be buying a new hubcap for our truck, paid for 2 over priced oil changes, and were offered NOTHING for our troubles. I guess I know why the shop across the street was booked 2 days in advance, while Desert Car Care has two-thirds of their bays empty. I took my accord in for an ABS module sensor replacement.At first I was a bit hesitant because I'm so use to taking my car into my Honda dealership for ALL my services ,but since Honda couldn't find the part for almost 1year I decided to shop around and ended up at All valley.At first I dealt with Tom Lafrance which I wasn't a fan of and GLAD that he's no longer there.Then Susie took over as the new GM and let me tell you she's AWESOME! Now I was dealing with a professional.Susie is very kind,HONEST and she's very knowledgeable about cars.They did their own inspection to make sure that's what my car needed and yes it needed that very expensive part.She put her top mechanic Steve to do the job and he did a great job. Jared the other mechanic that helped was also very nice and informative and I can tell he's passionate about what he does.Overall my experience with Susie and the staff was great and also refreshing to know that there are still good people out there that want to help you and not rob you.. :) read more

I didn't have a good experience there, brought the car in, expensive for the job quality they did since I ended up with extra broken parts in my interior when they were to fix something under the hood! Grease and hand marks on the side of the car, wheel and shifter they never wiped off. Brought it back when called for them to fix what they broke when told bring it in and we will fix it ASAP, got there and told, we are full right now you'll have to wait until we are done with other customers cars. One of the guys there both days had an attitude. I won't be bringing my car back for them to work on it, I'll bring it to the dealership to have them fix what this place broke and get it to shift correct since I have to force it into Drive now! Don't believe the past reviews since seems to be new management or new ownership! I called this shop last minute to get my oil changed prior to a trip out of town. I spoke with Matt who fit me in that day, I opted to stick around and wait while they changed the oil. In that time I got to talking with Matt, the owner I presume and we discussed my old truck that is needing some repairs he was very informative and not sales-y like some other shops I have dealt with in the past. I felt comfortable and taken care of, in a short amount of time the oil and tire rotation was done. I was given clear instruction on when I would be due again and also some normal maintenance things like battery and air filter change time frames. Again all done in a professional manner and in no way pushing for more sales just good information on when I should be taking the car in again.
