The exhaust needed some modifications that required some extra work that would cost a bit extra. They only charged an extra 100 for modifications. I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE STARS Let me begin with this: I purchased the wrong muffler for the sound I wanted. They installed in a timely manner but I was unhappy with the lack of sound and "pops." I called back an hour or two later and they gave me a few options and I brought it back in right away. They lifted it and showed me exactly what they could do. Brought my exhaust pipe in with a hole drilled and an oxygen sensor bung, Dane said the hole was too small and opened it up more with drill and step drill bit, then he welded the O2 sensor bung onto exhaust pipe, I'm upgrading my 1965 Chevy C10 pick-up to fuel injection and needed the O2 sensor bung added. He said no charge and even carried the exhaust pipe and muffler and loaded it into my car! My vehicle needed a cat welded and the dealer I am working with brought it to them and I went to check on it and I can see it through the fence and they left my car window down on my 14 charger I just purchased and have less than 10 miles I've drove on it. That is extremely unprofessional and tells me how little they care and how wuick they want to get to there weekend. Devin of Apache Muffler is one foul-mouthed, greasy, busy son of a bitch. That being said, he's the best muffler guy I have found in my 6 years living in Arizona. It's a shame he doesn't have more reviews or visibility on this site. Over the years, I've brought several of my cars through his shop and he always does an amazing job. I'm very big on symmetry, and Devin takes his time to make sure of this. His services are VERY INEXPENSIVE, and one time, I just needed a few simple welds and he did it FOR FREE. He's not some bigshot mechanic, but he still offered me free service--this is how a small business develops an excellent reputation. One thing Devin--I wish you were open on weekends! Bought an aftermarket exhaust for my Chevy Cavalier. The old one was severely rusted from the original owner. Scheduling was easy though I would prefer weekends available. The car went on the rack right when appointment was made. The guy working the desk was nice, about what you would expect. The waiting area was clean but I chose to walk around and check put some smaller businesses. When I returned I was advised the damage was a little more severe and additional parts were needed but were not available. The found the parts needed myself and Lyft'd over to Autozone. I did not feel pressured for time as my car used one of their lifts. I returned with the parts and the job was completed. Good communication with them. Even when the outcome was not known, they (the front guy and the guy working on the car) provided options and told me what they could do for me. Price was pretty close to what we agreed on since the job took 6x longer than expected. Will be bringing my Charger Scat Pack in the future! Thanks Apache. read more

Not happy with the service here. My 20 year old grandson went there without asking us who to take his car to. They replaced exhaust manifold and cat converter. When he got home the car was not running right. We took it to our mechanic, who said the manifold had missing bolts and heat shields were missing causing cooling fan wires to contact and melt. We called Apache muffler about this. They said the heat shields and bolts were not on the car but then why did they not tell him that. They let him drive the car which was a danger. Total cost was $661.00 we tried talking to them and getting a refund with no luck. They claim those parts were not on the car. As a mechanic I would think you would have enough sense not to let someone drive off in a dangerous car. We will be contacting our attorney and go to small claims court if necessary. read more

I needed an exhaust install and heard they were the best around and researched it too. Heard they can customize anything and actually watched some of it while I was there; anyways... I have a $75K Jeep Rubicon. Wanted a full cat-back flowmaster exhaust installed. They said just bring it down here, we'll give you a quote. Did that; met Darryl; said he's got an open slot in 15 minutes. He gave me a better than competitive quote. Dropped her off and grabbed some food and a beer at 12 West Brewing. I received a call an hour and some change later saying your Jeep is done and this the bill; even lower than the quote. The symetry; length, angle, height of the dual tips are perfect. Underneath looks clean. Exhaust is flowing and sound perfect. I was going to tackle this myself, but didn't have a lift available, or the skills of a pro.
