I am so glad we found Kelly's!!!! Do you know how hard it is to find honest mechanics and an honest shop? We found it here! Have had our cars worked on several times here, and when a fix was minor, they didn't even charge us! That's how you run a business and get people to return!!! When our son was looking to buy his first car, we took it there to have them go over it. The car was a mess (looked good on the outside) internally. They didn't charge us and told us to run from this car. Honesty gets you everywhere!!! Honesty and reliability!!! That's what you get with Kelly's automotive. I read the previous reviews....everyone 5 stars except one. And reading Kristopher R.'s review, makes me wonder about his ethics anyway. Go back to LA. Moron. read more

I called in to get a quote and the man on the phone was giving me the run around when on pricing hate when they do that to women. Then he ended up just telling me that he had people waiting and he had to go and hung up on me read more

Took my car in to have the AC repaired they told me it was the seals. They replaced the the seals and charge me $650. They also told me they tested the compressor and AC it worked great. When I drive it it home the AC was still not working and then I took it back to them. They said the compressor was bad now and wanted $2200 to replace. I reminded them you told me the AC blew cold when you tested it and now it broke from the time you tested until I picked it up. They said "that's weird but yes". I then took my Honda to Honda of superstition and they charged me $1450 to fix the compressor... There are some shady mechanics who work here. I don't recommend taking you vehicle here. read more

Extremely pleased as always. Excellent service and follow through. Repairs are always completed promptly and professionally. Vehicles are always kept clean. We have been customers here for years and have had many of our vehicles getting over 300k in mileage. I attribute much of that to getting the maintenance done promptly and the team here at Kelly always do a great job of letting us know about the little things they find so we are able to stay on top of maintaining our vehicles. read more

We went to Kelly's Automotive for an inspection of our recently purchased used car to make sure there weren't any issues. We were able to get it done that same day! Jeff, Service Manager, made a recommendation on the skid plate, which was missing. We purchased the plate and Kelly's put it on for a more than reasonable price! The car dealer wanted almost $250 for fasteners but Jeff was able to use fasteners that cost $9.00--total! Jeff was amazing...friendly, courteous and he didn't try to pull one over on us! The facility was very clean, with a nice, comfortable waiting room. We will definitely be returning to Kelly's Automotive in the future! Thank you, Jeff, you are awesome!! read more

Of the half-dozen shops I've taken my vehicles to in the past 20 years Kelly Automotive has been the most professional. Their service writers do an excellent job of working with you on quotes and helping you prioritize. I've done many repairs on different vehicles there and have not had a single issue with the accuracy of the diagnosis or the quality of the repair. I think Kelly Automotive is a solid recommendation for anyone new to the valley or car ownership. read more

I bought a 1985 Corvette that needed work. My granddaughter recommended these folks just 1 mile from my Mesa office, so I went there. They did $2000 worth of repairs and then delivered the car to my office. They explained every item in detail for me, told me the cost of it all and then I ordered the work done. A brake booster they installed turned out to be defective and when I brought it back about 10 days later, they ordered a new one immediately and installed it NOW. Delivered my car to me in 3 hours. Of course, no charge for that! WOW--Way more than I expected and I endorse their work whole heartedly. Besides that, they are really nice guys! You will be their customer for life--they are that concerned about their work. Bob Stephens Located on Southern on the corner of Horne--between Mesa Dr. and Stapley. Made an appointment with these morons to get my A.C. serviced, woke up at 8:30 to take it in, even called to re-confirm when I woke up. Only to find they just decided to cancel my appointment out of the blue. In all my years of dealing with auto repair shops I have NEVER had worse service. Then told me to bring it over and they "may" be able to get to it later today?!? I did not make an appointment to sit around and wait for you to "maybe" get around to my vehicle. Sorry but no thanks. Then when I told them that that's not how you do business and that I intend to write reviews of his business letting everyone know the way they treat people he actually hung up on me? What business does that? DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Worst service ever. Completely unprofessional. Spread the word. read more

I came here after another shop damaged my car. They told me they thought it was going to be $650 to fix it. Well, they ended up repairing it for $60. The mechanic that fixed it has to be the superman of mechanics. I will be using their services as long as I own a vehicle that requires maintenance. Chris is the guy who I dealt with and it was a pleasure to deal with him. read more

The team there always does a great no-nonsense job. They let you know the problem(s) and the solutions straight up, along with the costs.

The place is always clean and well appointed within the customer area and throughout the workshop. I've never gone back because they repaired a symptom and not the cause. Like Doug McArthur said when leaving the Philippine islands in March of 1942 ...... "I shall return." read more

I've taken my vehicles to Kelly Automotive for over a year now and couldn't be happier. These guys know what they are doing and have even been able to take care of my more "creative" auto issues. Most important, they are honest so you feel that you paid a fair price for the exact work done. They aren't the cheapest (which is good) and they aren't the most expensive. Highly recommend Kelly and his group. read more

I was referred by Gunnels Automotive & I am very glad that they referred me to a shop, that is just as prestigious as theirs. Every staff member at Kelly automotive was very nice and helpful. This is why next time I have an issue with my car, I will definitely be taking my car back to you guys. This is one happy customer! Thank you read more

I do a lot of my own work. But sometimes it seems there is not enough time in the week. So when I was looking for shop to help with my lack of time. I went with a recommendation of a co worker to check this place out. He has had nothing but good things to say. I am always reluctant and cautious when it comes to shops. I ask about book time and labor rates along with mark up on parts. The transaction was very smooth. Steve kept me informed every step of the way. There labor rates are the best I have found and there very knowledge about actually fixing the problem. And as for the cost of parts, they are on point. No high pressure sales or add ons of things you don't need. And if you have to Waite. They have an awesome waiting area w/ bottle water. So if you looking for an honest shop? I urge you to give Kelly's a shot. read more

These guys are great. I just moved to AZ and have been driving 4 hours back to the shop that I have used and trusted for years. Finally I found that same kind of shop here in Mesa. These guys got to the problem and fixed it WITHOUT trying to sell me on a bunch of extra issues. They gave me the knowledge I needed to know about where my trucks life is and what to keep an eye on for the future. Thank you Kelly Automotive. read more

A great company to do business with. I took my car in for an alignment and got seamless customer service. My car was fixed right the first time for a reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time. My thanks to Dale and to Chad the automotive tech that did the work. I have had problems with shops in the past and this was a nice experience. I would certainly do business with them again. I will certainly reccomend them to my friends and family. read more

Kelly's is as good as it gets, they are like family to me. I moved to north Scottsdale and Kelly's is still the only mechanic i trust to work on my cars. Honest, fair, friendly, clean environment. Trust me you won't be disappointed, that's rare in this field. read more

I trust this place whole heartedly with my car. They always recommend what my car needs, not what costs the most. I had a Mini Cooper and they are the most unreliable cars, after fixing it several times and mentioning I was going to sell it, they recommended to not do any more work on the car and sell it. They were honest and instead of trying to get me to pay for another $1,000 worth of work, they recommended what would be in my best interest. I'm now in a much more reliable Toyota Corolla that they've already changed the oil on and did a whole look-over and said the car looks great and was a good purchase. Didn't try to sell me on a bunch of add-ons, "flushes" and fluid changes like other repair shops. Just straightforward and honest. They also purchase their parts where they can get them the cheapest for you and bring your total bill down, not straight from the dealer so they can overcharge. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kelley automotive! read more

For the past several years my family and I brought our cars to this shop without question. The last several times we have had inconsistent and unreliable service on many of our cars. Our 2005 Nissan had an engine mount replacement that we had to bring back in twice and my 2008 dodge ram now sports a new dent in the door where I had to bring it in for a power window repair. The dent was consistent with shop damage and pretty clearly evident on their surveillance footage, which ironically they purported as proof of their innocence. Eventually, I didn't have the energy or time to argue with them anymore. Needless to say, myself and my family no longer take our vehicles there. Their efforts to reconcile consisted of giving my sister a birthday cake?? I'm very sad to see their customer service decay to this level of negligence and unprofessionalism as in the past I was confident I could take my vehicles there for life. read more
