Lexpert Auto Care and my 100 series Land Cruiser
    Ryan F.

I am so happy with the work done by the employees at Lexpert auto care! I had brought my truck in for a 2 inch Iron Man lift kit. I knew by going here my truck was going to be handled by high-quality professional technicians. They completely understood every component of my truck and knew how to adjust everything accordingly. Not only was the services provided high-quality but at a great value, I will be bringing all of my vehicles to them. If you are looking to have your Lexus or Toyota vehicle serviced, I highly recommend recommend using Lexpert! Tony and the other technicians are the only service providers that I have complete faith in when it comes to repairs on my vehicles. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else !

After the service they made sure they left the engine bay looking clean. 300k miles btw! - The photograph shows the engine bay of a vehicle with the hood open, exposing a V8 4.7L engine. The engine cover is prominently labeled, and surrounding components such as the battery, air intake, and fluid reservoirs are visible. The engine bay appears clean and well-maintained, with hoses and wiring neatly arranged. The vehicle is parked in a lot, with other cars visible in the background.

If you got a Lexus, don't take it to the dealer, take it here. Be sure to ask for Tony, he can fix any of your Lexus problems.

LET IT BE KNOWN I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM A STAR, BUT THE REVIEW REQUIRES ME TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING. brake-related a nearby shop I own several cars, and I trusted this shop with multiple projects. On my BMW 750Li, I paid to fix a check engine issue, yet the car was returned multiple times with the same problem still present. After installing new rims and tires, the steering wheel was off-center, and the car shook at certain speeds. Instead of properly diagnosing the issue, I was told the rims were bent and needed to be replaced. After spending money on new wheels, it turned out the real issue was a brake-related one. Import Specialties worked on my Bentley GT Speed, and despite replacing five mass air flow sensors, the check engine light continued to come on. I was then told I needed approximately $25,000 in additional work, including catalytic converters and O2 sensors, based on a remote consultation. I took the vehicle to a Bentley dealer in Phoenix for a second opinion. They immediately questioned that diagnosis and explained that if those components were truly failing, the system would clearly indicate it. They identified and fixed the actual issue, and the check engine light never came back on. I drove the car to California and traded it without any issues. I also entered into a major build with them involving a BMW 2JZ swap that was supposed to produce 900+ horsepower. I paid $40,000 in cash and another $10,000 on a credit card for the engine and installation, with additional work planned (rims, tires, paint, and PPF). Due to a lack of progress and growing concerns, I stopped the build and sold the car to a BMW specialist shop down the road. When I asked for my money back, I was told the parts and engine had already been ordered--but they were supposedly stored at the owner's house, not the shop. I was then told I would be charged a $5,000 restocking fee. That raised serious questions. With my Range Rover, I paid over $30,000 for an engine replacement. I was told the engine would be completed in December, which it was, but it wasn't even picked up until late February. After multiple delays and additional charges (including $2,500 for parts that did not resolve the issue), the vehicle still stalled and had recurring check-engine light issues immediately after I got it back. I eventually took the car to a nearby shop. They diagnosed and fixed the issue within a day. It was discovered that key components were either missing, improperly installed, or not connected at all. While I was at Import Specialties, I also witnessed another customer who had been waiting approximately seven months for an engine replacement with no visible progress. The moment he asked for his car back, they suddenly said it would be done the next day--and it was. That speaks volumes. Across all of my experiences, the pattern has been the same: Poor or incorrect diagnosis Repeated delays and missed timelines Escalating costs without resolution Lack of transparency Communication issues This situation has cost me a significant amount of time and money. In one instance, my son wasn't even able to drive his car during the holidays because the issues were never properly resolved. My wife has been back since October and still has not been able to drive the Range Rover I had serviced. As a result, I was forced to order a custom 2026 Range Rover, which came with a six-month wait and is only now arriving in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I had to purchase her a separate vehicle just so she could have reliable transportation while waiting for either the repair or the new vehicle. If you're considering this shop, I strongly recommend that you think carefully before moving forward.

I really appreciate their text message system that allows me to review what they're recommending now and in the future. I also really enjoy that you can opt right then and there to approve or deny a service. It also has prices estimates. At the end of the service the price estimates were the same as the charges (not sure if it would ever vary or if they would call before if it was to be more) I appreciate the pictures they take too! Pricing seems to be fair and comparable. The service was excellent. Very approachable and patient as I had questions and concerns since I'm not familiar with car stuff. It's easy enough to find, squeezed between the sonic and gas station. You could probably wander around and sit other places if you needed to wait for your car. I definitely plan to come back for my future care services and recommend!

I explained this upfront and still chose to proceed with a diagnostic to confirm the issue. I was quoted a flat $65 diagnostic fee by the owner with no mention of pricing ranges or tiers. I agreed and scheduled the service. The technician arrived about 30 minutes later than scheduled, which I was informed of ahead of time. During a brief text exchange with the owner, I expressed concern due to a prior negative experience with another company. The response I received made the interaction feel slightly tense, including being told I could "find someone else" if needed. When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. Communication afterward included frustration from the business regarding the reduced payment, despite the pricing change being due to lack of prior disclosure. While I do believe the technician performed the inspection thoroughly and provided useful findings, the core issue was the lack of clear communication around pricing structure, scope of work, and potential cost changes before work beyond a basic diagnostic began. I would recommend future customers get very clear written confirmation of what is included in the diagnostic fee, whether deeper inspection can change pricing, and what documentation will be provided before service begins.
