During a brief text exchange with the owner, I expressed concern due to a prior negative experience with another company. The response I received made the interaction feel slightly tense, including being told I could "find someone else" if needed. When the technician arrived, I explained the issues and the codes I already had. During the inspection, the technician began deeper inspection work on the vehicle. I was not clearly informed beforehand that more extensive disassembly or work beyond a basic diagnostic could result in additional charges. Afterward, I was told the diagnostic would actually be $200 due to the depth of the inspection, despite originally being quoted $65. After discussing this, I was ultimately charged $75. I expressed concern that the pricing change was not communicated upfront. The owner later acknowledged that he should have communicated a pricing range and that this was a mistake on his part. I requested a copy of the diagnostic findings I was being charged for. The response indicated there was no formal report, but pictures and a summary were provided. I had just got 2 brand new tires on my front so I knew after a rotation, they would be on the back. Obviously not the end of the world, but 5 stars means perfection, and while I "assume" the oil and transmission and brake fluids were indeed taken care of, technically how would I know? The tires I easily could tell, considering they had a tread depth of 10 vs 4, which caused me to have to go back to discount tire to have the rotation performed. Again, great place and I had some additional service recommendations that I considered going back for, but if a simple rotation isn't taken care of, I do have cause for pause that other service may not actually be performed unless I'm sitting in the bay watching every single step. Nonetheless, I do know if I went back they would have completed it, but they're a bit out of the way and also, after spending $550, I would like to think I shouldn't have to go back for work that was supposed to be done the first time. 4 stars is best I can do.

I understand that shops have minimum charges, but waiting more than two weeks for a quote on a cam bearing replacement--only to receive a price that high--was frustrating. When I picked the block up, it had developed some surface rust because it hadn't been moved the entire time it was there. That said, the staff was friendly and professional throughout the process. Because of that, I'd be willing to give them another chance if I needed different work in the future. However, my first experience ended up being a frustrating waste of time.

They also fabricated side exits through the rear quarters just behind the rear wheels. Overall, the quality of the work is good, and I'm happy with how the exhaust turned out. The only minor issue was that they left more of the exhaust hanger material than necessary, but they were trying to finish the job at the end of the day so I could pick the car up before they closed. I was able to trim it myself without any issues. They are definitely on the pricier side, but the workmanship, customer service, and overall experience were worth it.

I am not saying they are a bad shop, but these few issues plus some communication problems will make me think twice.
