Jeff and his team are some of the most honest people i have ever met ..weird noise coming from my breaks thinking I needed new ones and you knkw they will run you up a bit specially it being a Lexus...and it was just a rock stuck in there ...anywhere else you know they would of got you and charged you for new breaks... and thats why I trust Carlife amazing service Oz read more

I had a VW Jetta I took into this location in 2019. I was out of town when the vehicle repair was complete. They left my vehicle parked outside for 2-3 nights until I was able to retrieve it, and when I picked it up, it wasn't sounding right. The catalytic converter had been stolen while it had been parked outside. I called and told the worker on the phone about the situation and all that I was told was "sorry". They are lucky I couldn't afford an attorney. I ended up selling the vehicle for $300 as I could've afford a new converter as I just paid them over a thousand bucks for a repair. Never again. I do not recommend. This is a true account of my experience with this location. read more

I would highly recommend CarLife. While they are not the cheapest or most expensive, their diagnosis of my vehicle's problems is always spot on the first time they get my car in and out quickly and I am happy that they are not too far from my home. I have been taking my car and family cars here for years. read more

I could not recommend this shop enough and this is the only place I will be taking my cars to from now on. I was greeted with a friendly smile and was treated well. They even offered me a loaner car for the day as I had multiple things needing repaired. The manager kept me updated throughout the entire day and stayed late to ensure I went home with my car that day. 10/10 experience. read more

I can't say enough great things about CarLife I recently brought in my 2023 Suburban for its 30,000-mile check-up, and once again, they exceeded expectations. What really sets them apart is their transparency and communication. They use a super helpful color-coded system--red, yellow, and green--to break down the condition of every part of the vehicle. It makes it incredibly easy to understand what needs immediate attention, what to keep an eye on, and what's in great shape. No guesswork, no pressure--just honest, clear information. The team at CarLife is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about keeping your vehicle in top shape. I always leave feeling confident that my car is in the best hands. If you're looking for a trustworthy, thorough, and friendly mechanic, this is the place. Highly recommend! read more

I was on the way to the airport for an important trip when my truck broke down. Suddenly I had lost power steering, had a bunch of lights turn on and had to pull over just 8 minutes from the airport. I've always taken my truck to carlife because they take good care of me, so I gave them a ring! Not only did I get picked up and driven to the airport ON TIME for my flight, but my truck was towed back to the shop and repaired fully before I came home from my trip 4 days later. They even gave my wife a ride from our home to pick the truck up so that she could get it back. Thank you Elsie! read more

Jeff and the team are some of the best people to work with. I love taking my vehicles to be serviced there. They are honest, reliable and professional. You get a report and it's a very welcoming experience. I trust Jeff and would recommend to anyone that they should have their vehicles checked there. read more

I like Carlife for auto repairs. Jeff and the Staff are great. However I must say that I did not like the service when it came to tires. It took 24 hours for a tire replacement. I purchased the tires from Carlife because of the free rotation every time I got an oil change. When one of my tired blew, Carlife had to order the tire and it didn't come into the shop until the next day. I had to take off work for this inconvenience. I felt obligated because the tires purchased from Carlife were under warranty. In hindsight, had I gone to Discount Tire and purchased the warranty and tires, I would have been on my way in an hour. Tire repairs are simple and should not take 24 hours to repair. Having tires on site would make a difference. read more

My husband found Carlife & trusted them. I stuck with them after he died, but now I'm thinking how weird/awful is it that a mechanic shop has pushed me towards having my car maintained by the dealership! Apparently, the fine folks at Carlife believe their time is more important than the customer's. I paid exactly twice as much as what the dealership would've charged, but did so knowingly because I trusted them to be honest & forthright about everything. They weren't, so I said goodbye. I'm sad that they've changed. read more

I made an appointment online to bring my car in for breaks, an oil change, and a tune up. Got a reminder about my appointment the day before. Showed up (an hour after they opened) and they were closed. I get it. It's the Saturday before Labor Day and they wanted a 3day weekend like most everyone else. A sign or a notice online would have been appreciated though. Even the phones were shut down with no notice of being closed. I don't want to say this is a negative review, I'm told they do really great work at fair prices but I never got a chance to find out and this wasn't the best first impression. My advice if you use their online service... CALL to verify ahead of time. read more

I've taken three of my cars there and the service (both customer service and car service) has been great. The closest BMW dealer to my house is a 45 minute drive (without traffic). Car Life Gilbert is very convenient. All the oil change and routine checkups are not expensive at all. Their quality of work is great and I trust them to service all of our cars! read more

Chris did an amazing job! The ladies in the office were very nice. Good price. Great work

Fantastic place, honest, professional people. My car was fixed quickly and for a very reasonable price. I made an appointment, and my car was taken right back when I arrived. That just doesn't happen at most places! They did a courtesy inspection too, and gave me the report, so I can plan ahead. They didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need, and they were definitely NOT pushy on the repairs. They have a great waiting room, good magazines for men AND women to read, wifi too! I will not go anywhere else! read more

By far the best experience I've ever had dealing with a mechanic shop. I am blown away anyone would give car life Gilbert a rating on under five stars. I will be referring everyone they're moving forward. Trust me you will not be disappointed. read more

Had the pleasure of working with Zach and Jeff. Very friendly, personable and professional. They did some wiring work on my truck and mounted a switch for me. The were patient with me and very helpful. They took the time to explain things to me and were very fair and reasonable. This was not the run of the mill mechanic experience that I am used to. This shop cares about their customer experience and satisfaction. If you're looking for nice guys who will take care of you and your vehicles, I highly recommend that you come to them. You won't regret it. read more

i don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for this place when i have been going here for years. absolutely love this place. trust them with my car 110% over the dealership. they also are so amazing with taking in my car if there's emergency or it breaks down. they even do a full check during oil changes to let you know if there's anything that needs to be fixed! Jeff, the owner is also so nice and genuinely wants to help! thank you car life for literally saving my car's life!! read more

I came to this place several times when I had a 1998 Honda Accord because they kept my car running. They had the lowest prices available. It was frustrating working with them because I would get mixed times when my car would be available and how long it actually took to fix certain things. Plus when they replaced my radiator, they ensured me I didn't need new hoses. Two months later, my hoses blew off and my car started smoking. Now that I have a brand new car, I figured that I start off with a brand new perspective and start off with an oil change. I called earlier this week to ensure I didn't need an appointment for Saturday which someone told me over the phone that I didn't need one. I come in early in the morning and I'm told I do need an appointment. Pros: friendly staff Cons: mixed information on appointments, time it takes to have car prepared and how long it takes to actually fix a part. Overall, frustrated experience. read more

Had to take my car in because my engine was making a loud noise. The staff was helpful with informing me what was going wrong. They were also extremely nice while I waited for my car to be fixed and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Overall great customer service and my car sounds normal again. read more

I have a 100 series Landcruiser, an LX470, a C3 corvette and a Maserati GT. Carlife has performed various services on each one of these. There are not a lot of places that will tackle such diversity of automobiles. They are honest and fair, very knowledgable, and most importantly for me - pragmatic. I like to do a lot of the work myself and they don't hesitate to provide information that I need. So I don't sound like a relative of the owner, they could improve on vehicle evaluations, particularly since they charge for them. I still do not hesitate to give 5 stars. read more

The Midas on Power Road told me that my worn shocks and struts were causing the vibration in my steering wheel. I didn't trust their opinion so I decided to get a second opinion. The Yelp reviews were not wrong about this shop! They took me in first thing the day after the 4th. Within two hours they called to report that the only thing wrong with the vehicle was the right front tire was displaced from the wheel. No charge for the inspection either. Clean facility, pleasant staff and most importantly a HONEST corporate culture. I will be back for any repairs in the future. read more

Car Life is simply AMAZING and will always be my choice of mechanic when a job I ether don't know how to do or don't want to do pops up for my vehicle. I drive a 2014 F-150, and they have done everything from turbos to the timing chain, to engine and transmission mounts, and much more! And the best part about it is the work is done QUICKLY and CORRECTLY. I have never had a single issue with their work, and the price tag for said work is always VERY reasonable. As long as this location is open, I will always be a loyal customer! Thank you for all the hard work you do and thank you for the clear communication and professionalism that is expressed at each visit. read more

I had a really good experience at Carlife. My brakes had a loud piercing squeal and I found Carlife on Yelp. I called them first thing in the morning at 7:30AM and dropped it off at 7:45PM. They had a lot of other cars getting serviced, but said that mine would definitely be done by the end of the day. They also have a coupon on their website for 25% off the first hour of labor, a definite help to costly car repairs! The friendly receptionist Lynda drove me home. I spoke to them around 11AM and they told me about my car inspection and sent me a text message with a link to its full report. I told them to go ahead with the service and my car was ready for pickup by 2:15PM. Lynda picked me up again and I was delighted to see my car drive without the high-pitched metal squeals!! Had a great experience overall and will be coming back for future service! :) read more

The owner, Jeff is very nice, always knows my name and drives me home instead of making me wait for my repairs to be done. They do a very good job and the one time they did make a mistake with my headlight installation, they admitted it and fixed it on the spot. Their prices are reasonable and their service is stellar. I recommend them to anyone. Oh I almost forgot the most important thing, I trust them which is a huge thing for a Machanic because soooooo many are untrustworthy. read more

An honest and trustworthy auto repair shop. No seriously... stop laughing, it really is! I had a check engine light and limited performance in my car, I used my code adviser to diagnose the issue and realized that I'd need pro help with this fix. I called several places and most wouldn't even quote me, they said they have to diagnose it themselves and charge me diag time. HELLO, I ALREADY DID THAT!. Anyway Eddie gave me the best quote out of the few places that did give me numbers. I brought my car in and he fixed the issue I diagnosed, while he was in there I had him change my plugs and wires and he also suggested an induction service where he would clean the residue and deposits in my fuel injection system. No hidden costs, all the expenses laid out on the invoice, and no unexpected charges!!! Eddie and Carlife definately have my business, from here on out I'm bringing all our cars here when we need service, and telling my friends as well! read more

Being new to the area I was looking for a place to keep up the maintenance on my car that was local. I came across a Groupon that offered a great oil change deal. So I called and made an appointment with Jeff when I walked in for my appointment it was as if Jeff was a long-lost buddy!!! talking about a staff that treats you like your family. Service schedule was right on time, there was no waiting around, the lobby is very nice and welcoming and each one of the staff members that I met, made me feel like they appreciated my business. What can I say that hasn't already been said? I have never really had an extensive knowledge about cars, nor have I ever had any serious damage to a car I've owned so when I got into a bit of trouble with my car, I went in and talked to the people are Carlife. It was close to my house so I picked it, but for the service I received I would drive as far as I needed to. They were quick and thorough with me, they physically showed me what was wrong with my car, the mechanic that was looking over my car actually gave me a ride home before he did so and the front desk woman was an absolute delight to talk to . I felt no pressure at all while I was in there and enjoyed the experience, which is not something you can say often about a body shop. I will refer all of my business to them from this point forward. They were incredible. Oh and at the end I decided not to do the repairs just yet and they didn't charge me a dime. Hands down the best experience I've had so far. read more

This business was so honest. they provide pictures of exactly what they are talking about to support and prove that they are being honest with you. I don't look at my self as a super sensitive man I spent 19 years as a local fireman and 6 years and on the local Emergency helicopter as a paramedic. now 3 years on medical disability and have to watch every penny I spend. I understand people can just be having a bad day. I was debated even writing a bad review, until my wife said I can't believe how he looked at us like we were criminals I said I would wait until my blood wasn't boiling. so its been 2 weeks and and I can't get his condescending bully attitude out of my mind. this is a edited version from m UN original and just kept what's important to me and my family. And shortened it. I have just moved back to mesa from buckeyes so I called and set up an appointment to get my oil changed and made aware I have a certificate u chose for 3 oil changes as an incentive when I got my windshield replaced. I spoke with Zack he said hmmm IV never heard of it weird but I assured him I have it. The Certificate is Numbered has a authentication fingerprint on it. And no expiration date. To have $99 worth value of 3 oil changes with inspection and tire rotation. When I walked in the door Zack came to the counter finely after standing in the lobby for 15 while he was sitting on a desk talking on the phone when we arrived. no big deal we brought things to keep our 4 year old busy. When Zack came to the counter and found out who I was the caller with the certificate his face changed body language changed. He took the certificate looked at ut while said didn't you get my call? I said no. He said" he called the owner and were not honoring those anymore there like 3 years ago he said it was a promotion their not doing any more. I replied im confused there's no expiration date. He said So were not gonna take it but I can give you a discount if you sill want to get the oil changed. I said but its certified with UN able to finish every time i spoke from then on iwas cut off and bullied. Saying just the word no hacking his head. No with a nasty grin. Then said you didn't pay for it anyway. I said "I did pay for it i could of chose a hotel stay car wash or oil change and I chose the oil change and payed a lot for a new windshield that included 3 oil changes" I knew what I was facing in life with my health surgery and time down not above to drive I just wanted to explain why it took 3 years for me to use it. And there was a reason I chose the package that didn't expire but he gave back the certificate as he said nothing just snickered me with a up yours attitude leaning closer to me over the counter. I asked to speak with the owner and he said No im not gonna do that so we very angry walking out the door I said I would be leaving a review of what happened and he said great ill be look for it. Here it is. Thanks for the attitude Sack. Life is hard enough without cashiers making things harder. If I would of been treated different that I would of gotten my work done on my car. read more
