Meanwhile, two other employees were standing in the back talking and completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. Not even a simple "we'll be right with you" or "thanks for your patience"--just nothing. A little acknowledgment goes a long way, and this location had none. Eventually, one guy came to the front and said "next customer." I walked up and said, "just a few questions--do you guys turn rotors?" His response was, "like go out to the parking lot and mess with them? No." I had to explain to him that "turning rotors" means resurfacing them. Apparently AutoZone doesn't offer that service, which is fine, but the lack of basic knowledge was surprising. Then I asked how much the tool rental was for a brake caliper compressor. He had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. This is a common tool that many people ask for when buying brake pads. Most AutoZone employees at least know basic car parts, even if the service is slow. This location was bad at both. Customer service here was nonexistent and the staff seemed poorly trained. I will not be returning to this location.

September 16, 2025 - Greulich's Auto confirmed the white exhaust smoke and recommended an engine inspection. I declined, citing the 15-day / 500-mile implied warranty. September 18, 2025 - Will (Service Manager, Carizona) confirmed engine issues requiring full replacement; estimated two-week repair time. September 19, 2025 - Lissa Irvin (General Manager, Carizona) stated we must keep the car or lose our down payment, which is invalid and coercive. September 20, 2025 - Visited Carizona; spoke with GSM (Don or Rob) who refused assistance and repeated that we must keep the vehicle. Two other customers waited just as long to change one or 2 tires. I was told by the mechanics that making appointments are given priority which is BS if my car is currently being worked on.
