They were very helpful regarding not only fixing my brake issues but also providing education regarding proper intervals in which I should be servicing other systems of the car. I am a home healthcare provider and my car is my lively hood in this career as I drive 25k mi per year. So in addition to brakes this visit he also swapped out spark plugs which ended up being an involved project based on their location on the vehicle. Pretty sure they were the original ones from 180,000 miles ago! We came up with a plan regarding maintenance of the coolant and transmission fluid at a future date as they were looking fine at the moment. If you're looking for a shop with an honest, family feel where the owner wholeheartedly takes the time diagnose, repair, and provide education regarding this is the one. I took the tach back to them to have it rechecked, and they said there is noting wrong with it. I ended up buying an electronic tachometer which confirmed that the "re-jeweled" is off calibration.

I took my truck to this shop because of a driveline vibration. I was told my entire driveshaft was…read morebent and needed to be replaced at a cost of about $1,400. Wanting a second opinion, I took it to another mechanic who inspected the truck and found the driveshaft was not bent. The issue was simply that the driveshaft was out of phase/timing and only needed an adjustment, which cost me about $100. The adjustment completely fixed the vibration. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs here. I was nearly charged over $1,000 more than necessary for a problem that did not require driveshaft replacement.
