All of the sandwiches are made standard per the order, but the freshly made bread and portion sizes just make for an amazing meal!!! For me the meatball sandwich is the mvp, this is the only place I would even consider ordering one from! You could probably order a small sandwich and will be full, but the medium is the way to go, you will have some leftovers. While it is described as serving two people (or one very hearty appetite), the portion size is extremely generous. It would take quite an appetite to finish it in one sitting. The meats were tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, and the sides were equally impressive--especially the potato salad. In fact, the sampler provided enough food for two full meals for my husband and me. I am particularly selective about potato salad, as I have always compared it to my grandmother's recipe, and few have come close. Papa Bear's BBQ is a rare exception. In addition to the outstanding food, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning.
