Staying with friends in Apache Junction and they took us here for dinner. We had a lovely time. This is a very popular restaurant with live music and good food. The service was amazing. I had the prime rib dip with coleslaw, someone had the prime rib sliders with the fries. One person had the club sandwich and another had the chili. Everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommend! Just expect or wait.

After heading back to Phoenix from Boyce Thompson Arboretum, we stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner. The happy hour beer deals were good and the beer was cold. The service was decent but I did notice that our server seemed to have a pretty large number of tables. They have a very large patio with a great view of the mountains and a garage door type window that opens to the inside. They have bands on the weekend but we still got to enjoy a lot of good country music. The food wasn't special. We had the pickle chips with spicy ranch (that costs $1.00), beer brat with fries, and classic burger with a side salad. Nothing was hot or even warm honestly. Our food all came out together so I'm not sure if it just sat there or it's never to temperature. The flavors were really good so it would have been much better hot. The burger and brat were both somewhat dry and it took multiple people and multiple requests to get ketchup and extra mustard. I wouldn't come out of my way to stop here again but might if I was passing through or if there was live music.

12/ 30/26 First visit Parking 5/5 Arrived at ~1:30 was still busy but easily found parking in their private lot. Atmosphere. 5/5 Great country vibe. Wall Art & photos set the theme for this popular Apache Junction watering hole. Nice main dining room that includes a large bar patrons can park their boots at from both the indoor dining area and the outdoor patio. A live band space sits at the dance floor. The outside patio is fairly large with picnic and standard tables many with the view of the Superstition Mountains. Heaters are scattered around to help during cooler nights. Service 5/5 Our server today was Jasmine. She had our beverage orders in quickly and returned to get our entrees going. Great attentive service throughout our visit. She gave us the scoop on the live entertainment and dancing which is what I'm returning for. Food 5/5 My wife decided to try the Prime-rib sliders with a dinner salad and substituted in onion rings. I chose from their burger offerings, picking the Sonoran burger. Wonderful mix of flavors from the chipotle aioli, roasted hatch chiles and jalapeños served on a nicely grilled bun with a tad of roasting. Beautiful burger. My side also included the onion rings and Dinner salad and we both picked the house vinaigrette. All delicious. I was able to sample the sliders , OMgosh yes! Both agreed we would order the same thing next visit but I want to checkout the Trail boss burger. So next visit will be for diner when the band gets to playing and the dancers get to boot-scooting! First time visit. We arrived about 7pm on a Monday and it was packed inside so we had to wait about 15 mins for a table. Once seated our server came within a few minutes to take our drink orders, she was attentive to our needs and was friendly. It was worth the wait! As it being a saloon it was dark, majority of table are high rise with bar stools and there is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. I ordered Pretzel Bites with Hatch queso it was superb to say the least. The bites were perfect size and there were plenty of them. The queso had just the right amount of heat from the green chiles AND it all came out hot (no lukewarm). One son ordered Southwest Philly Cheesesteak and he was very happy to eat the whole thing. It also arrived hot piled high with stacks of beef, plenty of provolone cheese, red & green bell peppers and jalapeños on top. It came with their seasoned crinkle fries, we all sampled his fries and agreed they were excellent. Other son ordered Steak Tacos he also enjoyed his dish. The steak was chopped into small pieces (like for carne asada), it was soft. Flavor was nice and seasoned, on top was lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. It came with 2 tacos made with small flour tortillas, he said they would have been better with corn tortillas. Also with a small ear of corn. After we all cleaned our plates we ordered dessert of Funnel Cake Fries with caramel drizzle. Again a nice amount of the fries, drizzle and sprinkled with powdered sugar. (A slight sprinkle of cinnamon would've knocked these out of the park). The fries weren't huge (as seen in picture), but there was more than enough for the 3 of us. There is an outside patio, it wasn't open due to rain. Women's restroom could use a little more attention. Lots of tissue bits and paper towels on the floor as trash can was overflowing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return in the future. Oh, they do sell T-shirts and I've included a picture of one (No price was visible).

Hit the Rusty Buckle Saloon on a Sunday afternoon and this place is the real deal! Rolled in and grabbed a table in their massive, shaded beer garden--one of the best outdoor setups in the Valley. Live country music at the perfect volume; great chill vibe with plenty of people but never felt crowded. Food was killer all around. The chili is legendary: rich, smoky, hearty with a nice slow burn; easily top-3 chili I've ever had in Arizona. My friends demolished the sliders and wouldn't shut up about how juicy and flavorful they were (that house sauce is money). I also ordered the beer-brined chicken wings and holy cow; these things are massive! Meaty, fall-off-the-bone tender. Best wings I've had in a long time; could've eaten two orders by myself. Cold craft beers on tap, friendly, service, fair prices, and that authentic Arizona saloon atmosphere without feeling rundown. Everything was spot-on clean too. Whether you're local or just cruising the Apache Trail, the Rusty Buckle is 100% worth the trip. Awesome food, ice-cold drinks, live music, and that huge patio make it a new favorite.

This place was packed when we first went in! They had us seating immediately though so that was really nice. It's a loud place but that's to be expected from a popular place. They had live music too which is nice. The food was pretty good too! It just took a while but again it was busy and we had a pretty large party.

Another great stop while biking the area. Just happened to be going by and stopped in. We enjoyed the outdoor area and had great service. The wings were very well seasoned and tasty. The rattlesnake bites (fried jalapeños with cheese) were also good. I enjoyed a local lager. Sometimes called a dive bar but really nice place.

This was our first time here. The service was very friendly. The normal fried and American food fare. Good enough and reasonable prices. Nothing really stood out but nothing was bad either. I would probably go back if I were in the area because I liked the casual atmosphere and it was not terribly crowded.

Finally made it to @rustybucklesaloon thanks to a good friend @tastesofaz for inviting me to dinner. This one had been on my list for quite some time now. Apache Junction has a neighborhood gem! Chef @mark_coakley is serving up some next level, good ol' southern bar eats that didn't disappoint. What a way to unwind and enjoy the vibe with friends or family. My highlight was the Prickly Pear Margarita. Just what I needed after a long days work. You can taste the prickly flavor and it packs a punch. Now that's a drank! The RB Prime Rib Dip took the win for me. The bread was perfectly toasted, prime rib was seasoned, juicy and packed inside the toasted bun. Then they topped it with melted provolone all warm and bubbly on the top as they bring it to the table. Now dip that into that flavorful Au jus. Damn! My tastebuds were excited. All I was missing was a little horseradish on the side or maybe a garlic aïoli smeared up in that warm toasty bun. Now the Apple Pie.... don't event get me started. Me fought over the last few bites at home. The perfect scratch made buttery crust, beautiful lattice work, fresh warm cinnamon apples all sweetened up and delicious. Baked and served with vanilla ice cream.

Fish and chips. Note I already ate 1 piece. Fish was amazing. The coleslaw was also good. The french fries were blah.

The reality is for the area. This is a phenomenal restaurant. Don't expect a Scottsdale five star here, but the food was good. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. The environment was enjoyable and pleasant. And the fish and chips particularly were amazing.

Came with Golden Vista & Lost Dutchman for lunch & really had a great time. I'd been here once before when a band my boyfriend fills in for played here but did not order food on that visit. The restaurant is clean & well stocked & the staff is very helpful & friendly. Our groups had two amazing waitresses who were not only super nice but very accommodating as well! I had the Boot Scootin' Nachos & they were so good! Very generous portion of chips, meat, & toppings & a really tasty salsa to please your palate! I will definitely order this item again on future visits as well as try other things on the menu. This is a great place for dancing & live music albeit the dance area is small but the sound is perfect for entertaining purposes. If you haven't been here yet, please go & visit the fine folks at Rusty Buckle!

The service at The Rusty Buckle Saloon was genuinely great. Friendly, attentive, and on point all night. Unfortunately, the food was the complete opposite. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings, and what I got was a plate of wings sitting in a puddle of butter with a little bit of garlic and absolutely zero trace of parmesan or anything else. It was literally just butter and garlic. No flavor balance, no seasoning, nothing close to what was advertised. It was honestly disgusting. My friends and family know me as the guy who eats everything, and I came in starving, but after forcing down two wings I had to stop because it was making me feel sick. To make matters worse, the meat itself tasted off, almost like it was going bad. I didn't eat the rest of the night and ended up feeling sick afterward. I'd come back for drinks because the service and atmosphere were solid, but I can't believe they serve food like this and call it acceptable.

I came here on the Yelp recommendations. I had my eye on that Southwest Cheesesteak. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated in the bar area. We were on a Prickly Pear kick, so we got the margaritas. Good prickly pear flavor!! I ordered the SW Cheesesteak and the wife got the SW salad with fried chicken. They subbed her the fried chicken and ranch and that was good service on their part. The steak had nice char flavor and the sandwich was a nice compilation. The wife enjoyed her salad and claims the vegetables are better out here than in Wisconsin. The music is on the loud side, and newer country. It is a bar and music venue, and I bet it is fun after dark. The beer was the low key shining point!! A delicious lager called Dutchman Gold. Named after the famous Superstition Mountain Gold that no one can find. Friendly, good food, good beer/margs. Keep up the good work!!

Simple surroundings, but excellent food. This is one of those places, in my opinion. Ordered the Greek salad w/ beef kabob. They even asked how I wanted the meat prepared. I went for rare, and it was rare. Very fresh greens, soft and warm pita bread. Dressing on the side, which I like, because Greek dressing can sometimes be a little acidic. This was not. Smooth, with light acidity. Very tasty. The meat (see picture) was loaded on and delicious. Charred nicely on the outside, rare inside. Presented very well. Baklava for desert. What can I say - I've never really had bad Baklava. Very buttery, honey, pistachios. I'm giving five stars, because I didn't expect this to be so tasty. Expected good. Nothing fancy as far as dining, but very clean. But I don't order the tables and chairs - I order the meal, and that's what I eat. You order at the counter and they serve. The young lady was very friendly - perhaps limited English, but no one was rude. She served my food, and I forgot to grab utensils. She went back to get them w/ no attitude. I saw the cook (maybe the owner/mgr?) serve a couple and very friendly. I saw some bad reviews regarding service, so just wanted to explain that didn't happen to me. Anyway, I will go back here. Hopefully, will be as good as the salad.

After reviewing the menu quickly (about 15 seconds), when I approached the cashier he asked 'Are you ready now?'. I found this pretty insulting as I was looking at the menu briefly with nobody behind me inline. What happened to 'How may I serve you today?' or at least a semi-friendly greeting? I ordered a Torpedo sub and got a water cup as they had a Pepsi machine (I much prefer Coke products) and no fresh-brewed Iced Tea (only Brisk out of the Pepsi machine). The sub came out quickly. I forgot to take a picture but it looked like a bread-only sandwich with a few lettuce strips hanging out. You could not see the meat or cheese without lifting off the bun. I'd say they are quite frugal with the meat, cheese and vegetables. However, the sandwich bread was excellent and the sub had good taste. Overall, the experiences was average to slightly sub-par.
