Great little place and the Spuds were delicious! Had the chili cheese spud and it was fabulous!...split in half, smothered with Chili, cheese, and added sour cream for the finishing touch. Go support this local eatery! We need more spots like this!

I was the first one there at the grand opening on Saturday. The service was quick and friendly. They did a really nice job remodeling the inside. The dining room was very clean and inviting. I had the twisted spud and really enjoyed it! I can't wait to try all the other food options. Come out and give this place a try.

Every server has her own personality, and that's part of what makes each visit so special. The ladies who work here bring something you just don't see much anymore--years of experience, genuine kindness, and a level of personal service that feels like a lost art. They treat you with warmth and make you feel like you're a regular, even when you're not. The food is good, honest home cooking, but it's the people who truly make Nana Dee's stand out. We've been here enough times to know that, occasionally, mistakes happen. What matters is how they're handled, and the staff always corrects things without hesitation and with genuine kindness. Thankfully, those occasions are rare. Nana Dee's reminds you what eating out is supposed to be: good food, good people, good conversation, and an enjoyable experience away from home. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed and impersonal, these ladies are a refreshing reminder of what great service looks like. Support this place--you're not just getting a meal, you're getting an experience.

They all welcome you in as you come in the door and I really like that because nowadays there are not too many places that are that inviting or friendly and that's sad. We had a great waitress named Yaz and she was a lot of fun. She made the experience awesome for me, especially being a rookie to Waffle House. I chose the chicken protein bowl for my meal and a sweet tea and I tell you that protein bowl was so good! The grilled marinated chicken tasted amazing and the eggs were perfect and everything about that meal was just so satisfying plus the portion size was just perfect for me. Also I had been recommended to this place by my friend Christian who is a devout Waffle House customer. He and his dad come here a lot and I see why. Between the amazing staff here the delicious food, the great service and the reasonable prices,, you cannot go wrong! I will definitely come back.

However, hoping the manager of this place at least looks at reviews. Today, I sat at the counter and my waitress was Tarryn. She asked me how I wanted my eggs and what type of toast and that was the LAST words she said to me over the next 45 minutes. She turned around and handed the ticket to the cook 3 feet away. The cook delivered the food himself just by turning around and setting it on the counter. It's the only reason this review got two stars instead of one. Tarryn spent most of my visit, just staring at the cook who was working his ass off and glancing at her phone several times. She was ambivalent, uninvolved, and definitely unmotivated. Not once, not a single time, did she ask how my food was, offer a refill of my coffee, or attempt to engage with me despite the place not being busy. I wasn't looking for a full-blown conversation but a couple of words to acknowledge my existence would've been nice. The food was actually pretty good. Eggs were cooked nicely. hashbrowns were hot and the bacon was even pretty tasty. For a waffle house, it was actually pretty clean inside too. I had to chase another waitress down to get a refill of the coffee. Tarryn may know how to fill out a breakfast ticket, but she needs some serious training on interacting with customers. I have a feeling her waffle house career is going to be very short-lived.

I can't really pick a favorite meat but maybe it's between the turkey and the brisket. The Texas twinkies... my boyfriend is OBSESSED. I buy them to surprise him with when I want to make his day. The service is prompt, girls could use a little more enthusiasm, I get it, you're at work. But the poker face makes you feel like it's definitely a transaction and not an experience. The restaurant itself is quaint but very cute and space is utilized nicely. I did expect my turkey sandwich to come with the white bear sauce as it's pictured and advertised with. Came with barbecue instead, I was sad lol.

The place wasn't crowded, but did have plenty of people inside either waiting for orders or eating at some of the handful of tables. I looked at the big menu display screens and then placed my order at the counter with the nice woman who works there. I had the brisket plate with chili and corn bread as my sides. The brisket (some fatty, some lean so I could try their idea of both) was cooked well and had a good smoke ring. The smoke flavor wasn't as strong as I prefer, but different people have different ideas and less is more when you're cooking for a crowd, so I respect that. Their barbecue sauce (the red one -- I don't put yellow sauce on brisket -- had a good flavor that complemented the brisket's flavor rather than overpowering it.) As for the sides, the chili was OK, but not something that I would order again. I like chili and was curious. Curiosity satisfied. The corn bread was moist and that middle-of-the-road between sweet and savory that is common in much of Texas (at least the parts I have visited). I like mine a little more sweet, but, like the brisket, I am a believer in getting the texture right first. Be aware if you are a fan of the sweet corn breads.
